Story
Meet Sasha! Sasha is a gorgeous Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees mix, born around November 17, 2024. With her thick white coat and soulful eyes, it's easy to fall for her looks-but what truly makes Sasha special is her strength, spirit, and resilience. Sasha came into rescue with a fractured tibia that required two surgeries and more than five months of recovery and rehab. Her crucial puppy months were spent with strict activity limits, unable to run, play, or train like most dogs her age. Despite that, Sasha has blossomed-she's house and crate trained, knows several commands, and is making steady progress with leash manners and polite greetings. Now that she's finally able to experience life, Sasha approaches everything with enthusiasm-it's like the world is brand new to her. She's still learning how to channel her excitement, but with consistent training, structure, and positive redirection, she is improving every day. At nearly 70 lbs and still growing (she will likely reach 90-100 lbs), Sasha needs a family who can keep up with her energy, strength, and high play drive. She would do best in a home with another medium-to-large dog who enjoys active, rough-and-tumble play. A small dog would not be a good match for her size and style of play. She is also too excitable around cats, so a feline-free home will be best. Because Sasha can still get jumpy and mouthy when excited, she would do best with children 12 or older. She will need a secure fenced yard, plenty of exercise, and an adopter experienced with large, working-breed dogs. She's not suited for the hustle and bustle of city living, but would thrive in a suburban or rural home where she can enjoy space, structure, and companionship. Sasha is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. After everything she has overcome, she's ready to find the right forever family-one who sees not only her beauty but also her potential, and who is committed to giving her the guidance, training, and love she deserves. Story
Meet This Sweet Girl!  This beautiful 9-year-old 45 pound, Husky mix is Luna. She is a gentle, loving girl who truly enjoys being around people. She’s especially fond of kids and thrives on companionship—whether it’s relaxing at home or spending time together outdoors. She does well with other dogs, though she appreciates a slow and proper introduction to make new friends. True to her Husky roots, she can be a bit of an escape artist, so care should be taken when opening doors. She is fully house- trained and crate-trained, making her an easy addition to a home. One of her favorite activities is going for walks, where she gets to stretch her legs and enjoy the world around her. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who loves people and enjoys daily walks, this sweet senior girl could be the perfect match for your family.  If you are interested in adopting Luna, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. ** December 15, 2025, 7:02 pm

Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. After being rescued from an overcrowded backyard situation, this sweet boy has blossomed in foster care and is now ready to find his forever family.   Cubby has discovered the joys of life—walks, playtime, snuggles, and, most of all, people! He’s affectionate, smart, and always seems to be trying to understand everything around him with those expressive eyes. He’s especially great with children and loves being part of a family.   An energetic and athletic pup, Cubby thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, hiking, backpacking, playing fetch, running beside a bike, and splashing in the water. If you lead an active lifestyle, Cubby might just be your perfect match. And when the day is done? He’s happy to chill on his dog bed, content just being near his people.   Cubby currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog buddy—or as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise and enrichment.   Cubby is not just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, hiking partner, and forever friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. All he needs is a family who will give him the active, loving home he deserves.    Fostered in Tennessee   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 15, 2025, 6:39 pm

Story
Pashia – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Dog Looking for Her Person    There are dogs who come and go in our lives... and then there are dogs like Pashia — the kind of soul who doesn’t just enter your world, she changes it.  At 2 years old and 55 pounds, Pashia is a breathtaking blue-eyed Husky with a quiet strength and a heart that speaks volumes once it trusts you. She’s not just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone who sees beyond the pretty face and into the smart, loyal, sensitive spirit that lies beneath.  This girl has so much love to give, but she doesn’t give it away to just anyone — and that’s what makes it so special. Once Pashia chooses you, it’s for keeps. She will be your shadow on the trails, your snuggle buddy during movie nights, your calm presence on quiet mornings. The bond you build with her won’t be just another pet relationship — it will be deep, soulful, and unforgettable. Pashia is beautifully balanced — playful and silly with her toys (she treasures them and never destroys them), yet calm and observant when the day winds down. She loves sitting by a window or glass door, just watching the world — as if taking it all in with a quiet kind of wisdom. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. She walks well on leash and enjoys slow strolls where she can take in the sights, scents, and sounds of nature.  She’s a work of art in motion — elegant and athletic — and would thrive with someone who wants a partner for outdoor adventures. But more than anything, she wants a heart to anchor to.  Because of her past, she takes time to trust, and she’s selective with some dogs — especially those with dominant personalities. She’s done well with older or submissive male dogs and could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. She just needs a home that’s calm, structured, and full of love. Someone who understands that earning the affection of a dog like Pashia isn’t instant — but is entirely worth the wait.  Pashia has grown so much and overcome so many quiet battles. Now, she’s ready to settle into a life where she can feel safe, loved, and understood. If you’re someone who doesn’t just want a dog, but wants one to be 'your' dog — the kind of companion who looks into your eyes and just gets you — then Pashia may be the one you've been waiting for. &#226&#156&#168 Give her the fairytale ending she deserves. Email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to meet Pashia. Because once she lets you into her heart… you’ll wonder how you ever lived without her.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 4, 2025, 4:22 pm

Story
Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years.   This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home.  She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done.  We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds.  We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them.  Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life.  She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside.  But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience.  This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people.  She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings.  Help us give Marley a true Cinderella story of rising from the neglect and abandonment she came from and let’s put her in a castle.  We want her to have a good life and all we need is a person with a rescue kind of heart.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm
