Story
Meet Sasha! Sasha is a stunning Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees mix, born around November 17, 2024, with a gorgeous thick white coat and soulful eyes that instantly draw you in. At around 80lbs and fully-grown, she’s a strong, joyful, and playful girl who is full of life and ready to bring her energy and heart to the right home. Sasha thrives when she has structure, mental stimulation, and daily exercise. She loves her daily walks of 2–3 miles and would be happiest with a confident owner familiar with Husky and Great Pyrenees breeds who can provide routine, positive training, and opportunities to challenge her mind and body. She’s a smart girl who enjoys learning and showing off what she knows. This playful powerhouse loves to rough-and-tumble and would enjoy having another medium-to-large dog to keep up with her style of play—but she’ll also happily find her own fun if she’s kept engaged. She would do best in a home with older children who can respect her size and energy. Sasha will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely stretch her legs and enjoy time outdoors. Sasha is house and crate trained, friendly with dogs that match her play style, and thrives with an active lifestyle that matches her spirited personality. She’s looking for a home where she can continue to shine, play, and grow into the amazing dog she is—someone who can provide guidance, enrichment, and plenty of love. Sasha is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. If you think Sasha could be the perfect addition to your family, contact adopt@carolinapaws.com.

Story
Meet Shiloh! Shiloh is a handsome 3-year-old Siberian Husky mix weighing about 55 pounds and fully grown. With his striking looks and animated personality, he embodies everything people love about huskies - plus a wonderfully easygoing nature that makes him a fantastic companion. Shiloh is affectionate, playful, loyal, intelligent, and incredibly expressive. True to his husky roots, he's a big personality in the best way! His foster lovingly calls him a "drama king" because he talks back with adorable husky commentary and makes the funniest facial expressions. He will absolutely keep you smiling. He loves cuddling on the couch, going for walks, enjoying chicken and treats, being brushed, and having full conversations with his people. Shiloh forms strong bonds and truly enjoys being near his humans. While he appreciates companionship, he is also comfortable relaxing independently and settles in nicely when left alone. Shiloh is fully house trained and has never had an accident in his foster home. He is not destructive at all, so he does beautifully with free roam while his people are away. He sleeps peacefully in his dog bed and has lovely house manners. He walks well on a leash and enjoys getting out for fresh air and exercise. He has done well with other dogs, especially playful and confident ones. He loves to engage and tends to mirror the energy of the dog he's with - if they want to play, he's ready! He does not require a fenced yard and has done great in a home without one. Shiloh would fit well in many types of households - whether with a family, couple, or individual looking for a loyal companion. He is easygoing enough for a first-time dog owner. This boy truly is a special dog. He's sweet, cuddly, well-behaved, playful without being overwhelming, and wonderfully expressive. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will snuggle beside you and happily "chat" about his day, Shiloh is ready to be your perfect match. He is current on vaccines and his adoption fee will cover his future neuter and microchip. Contact us today at adopt@carolinapaws.com to meet this amazing boy!!!

Story
Julia is a 14 months old (as of 2/10/2026) husky mix. She loves to go on walks and snuggle on the couch. Something that is SUPER SPECIAL; she has heterochromia, which means having ONE BLUE EYE and ONE BROWN EYE! How cool is that!! It does not affect her vision at all. Julia is coming out of her shell; starting to explore more and learn about all the fun things! Contact us today to learn more about her at nothingmlrescue@gmail.com

Story
Meet Luna!  This beautiful 9-year-old, 45-pound Husky mix is Luna. She is a gentle, loving girl who truly enjoys being around her people and thrives on companionship—whether it’s relaxing at home or spending time together outdoors. Luna would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. True to her Husky roots, she can be a bit of an escape artist, so extra care should be taken when opening doors or securing the yard. She is fully house-trained and crate-trained, making her an easy addition to the right home. She’s good on the leash and absolutely loves getting out for walks, where she can stretch her legs and take in the world around her. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who enjoys daily walks and being by your side, this sweet senior girl could be the perfect match for you! If you are interested in adopting Luna, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. ** February 18, 2026, 2:17 pm
