Story
Blue is a lovable goofball. He loves pets and always wants to be close - he loves a good cuddle. He is high energy and loves time outside in a backyard- or playing fetch. He is working on his leash walking. But with his eCollar he is a great listener. He has excellent recall and knows all basic commands. Sit, speak, wait, turn , shake, place and release. He has had professional dog training. If he meets other friends, it’s best that it is off leash and in an open area - he does great making friends that way. He has been boarded before and enjoys group play this way

Story
Our precious Sophie is a castaway from an owner that has come upon hard times and cannot take care of her.  This sweet girl is obviously underweight from not having the food she needed and now at the shelter she is certainly not getting what she needs either.  Sophie at 4 years of age is needing to be spayed and we are needing a place for her to go after the spay.  She weighs only 28 pounds and we know she should probably be 38-40 lbs in reality.  She is currently in a hard core and small, dirty, shelter in Tennessee and we want her OUT and safe and fostered by someone who cares enough to help her get to her next step forever home.  The photographer that went to the shelter and took these pics, said she was so nice and sweet and very good with other dogs.  She has the look and total feel of a Husky girl that only wants to love you and to be loved right back by her humans.  She was easy going, gentle and friendly for pictures.  We feel that she was probably housebroken since was inside with previous owners.  Take a wonderful chance on a “wonderful” dog.  You won’t regret helping Sophie.    Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 23, 2024, 8:25 pm

Story
Hi my name is Ace.  I am a 1 year old husky who weighs 45 lbs.  I have been through a lot in my short life.  Mr. Edgar rescued me as a puppy from a man who was not taking care of me and leaving we outside.  He could not keep me because his young son was very allergic to me so he contact Miss Vivienne for help.  She found me a great home but after 2 children and one on the way my mom and dad decided it was time for me to go back to Miss Vivienne.  She found me a wonderful foster home while I wait for my true forever family to find me.  Miss Jennifer is taking great care of me.  I get plenty of exercise and I love playing with her big dog.  We have the best time.  I did not know what I was missing and really prefer life with another dog.  I walk well on a leash after short walk where I pull you all over the place.  We are working on that and I am improving.  I adore other dogs and love going to doggie daycare.  I am smart too.  I am housebroken and I know several commands.  I am very treat motivated so training me with a morsel or two really helps.  I am happy here but ready to find my forever home.  I need an ACTIVE family and a fenced in yard is a MUST.  If you are a runner or a hiker then I am the companion you have been looking for.  My forever family must have husky experience.  I am neutered, current on all shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.  To be considered for my forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Ace is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)June 23, 2024, 8:25 pm

Story
Meet Cobalt!   Cobalt is a stunning boy with deep blue eyes and a gorgeous bearlike coat of chocolate fur. His piercing eyes captivate everyone who meets him. He appears to be a Husky mix, possibly with Chow, but his exact breed combination remains a mystery.   Cobalt has been in a small-town shelter for over two months and urgently needs a helping hand to get out of his confined doggie jail cell. At approximately 2 years old and weighing around 40 pounds, he is looking for a loving home where he can thrive. This handsome boy will need clear guidance and training from a skilled dog person once he leaves the shelter. While he gets along well with other dogs, he is currently not neutered, which can present some issues in the play yard. Critter Cavalry Rescue is seeking a foster home or a permanent adopter who is willing to take Cobalt under their wing, provide training, and help him reach his full potential. We believe Cobalt will flourish once he is neutered and removed from the stressful shelter environment. He is not housebroken yet, but with a consistent schedule and possibly a bellyband in the early days, house training should be manageable. If you would like to be part of Cobalt's journey to a new life, please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and mention your location. Critter Cavalry is based in Nashville, TN, but we travel to the northeast weekly. Learn more about our mission or request an adoption application at www.crittercavalry.com.   Let's give Cobalt the chance to shine and find the loving home he deserves!   #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #HuskyMix #AdoptCobalt #CritterCavalryRescue #FureverHome    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 23, 2024, 8:25 pm

Story
Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Let's give this beautiful girl the break and love she needs. Email CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application or learn more about fostering. We are a Middle Tennessee-based rescue, but we travel to the Northeast weekly for our mission. Story
Panda Girl is a beautiful Husky mix girl that needs a break in her young life.  This 2-3 year old girl that weighs 48 pounds was brought in to a small town shelter after being abandoned in a dirty kennel and left outside with no food or water with 2 other dogs. Abandoned and hungry and neglected, this girl has languished in the shelter now for 9 long months.  Small concrete cells are what the dogs stay in (4X 6) and for short times during the week she is allowed outside in the play yard with other dogs.  She does extremely well being friends with all who come and go.  Yes, she watches as other dogs get out and yet there she sadly sits.  She would be a devoted companion to any family.  She is good with other dogs and good with all people she meets.  Can anyone consider adopting or even fostering? ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 23, 2024, 8:25 pm
