Story
Shadow is a 9 month old female husky mix that was rescued as a stray from animal control. She is extremely loving dog from giving kisses to wanting to cuddle. She is spayed. She loves long walks and acting goofy. Potty trained and Currently in process of crate training. Knows basic commands such as sit and come. Extremely food motivated so training has been going smoothly. Shadow was a stray at Greene County Animal Control and we rescued her on 6/28/24. I have since found to be allergic to her and unable to provide the care for needed to be thriving and know finding a new home is best for her that will love and care for her like she deserves. She needs someone willing to give her the attention she deserves. I have dog beds, her crate food, treats, and toys that she likes that I will give to who adopts her.

This is Sai from India. I'm living at plain city ohio and due to immigrant visa issues I have to leave the country. I just need a good home and family for my pet. I really love him but I have no options left. He is a lovely guy, well trained to be a. Home dog. He is silent always but if you give him good walks, treats and love him then you will see another side of him. He is not noisy and doesn't howl much too. Only howls if other dog or pet howls. I would really miss him and all I pray for god is to find him a good place

Meet Yukon! This big, fluffy guy is great with dogs, kids and has not shown much interest in cats. He is house broken and crate trained, and knows some basic commands such as sit and down. Yukon is very gentle and enjoys cuddling his person, playing in the yard, going on walks, and meeting new people. Apply to adopt this very good boy today! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Sassy is currently at county pound but we will pull her if we can find a foster.Sassy and 8 other dogs were taken from abusive owners. Prior to being seized, Sassy lived indoors and never went outside.We have a volunteer who has gone to the shelter and has taken Sassy for walks and reports that Sassy is a wonderful dog! She is good on a leash and loves belly rubs.Sassy needs to be on a strong leash at all times. She gets spooked easily (remember, all of this is new to her) by cars, loud noises, etc.Sassy is approximately 40 pounds. She has been spayed. Sassy lived with dozens of cats prior to being seized and taken to the shelter.Apply to foster Sassy and help her learn to trust people and gain confidence at ricopetrecovery.org
