Miss Naomi. Siberian Husky. Possibly a hybrid. She has piercing hazel-blue eyes and unique facial features/markings. She is spunky and fun. Naomi has a neat personality, knows some commands, Loves snacks and belly rubs. When she connects with you she connects. She has been nothing but gentle and sweet with us at the shelter. Gets super excited when she sees us but can be leery of strangers. She has met other dogs and did well. She also met a cat at the vet and was non reactive (but she was very afraid and stressed at the vet so this may have caused her to be disconnected).Naomi is underweight. We are working on that at the shelter. She was found on 7/3/2023 with No collar, No ID, No Microchip in Westfield Township.Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Penny is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms and has been wormed. Remy is stunning sweet female husky mix with one brown and one blue eye and beautiful white fur. Mixed with what you ask? We're not sure but a doggy DNA test would tell us. She's only 7 months old and 50 lbs and of course still has those puppy ways.Remy is smart, happy, silly, bouncy, playful, adventurous, athletic and of course beautiful. She has alot of energy and loves to be outside. Remy would flourish in an experienced home who can give her the structure she needs. Experience with huskies are a bonus! Huskies are known for their vocalizations, ability to escape, and smarts and Remy definitely has that husky personality. Familiarity with husky characteristics are recommended.Remy would be good in a home with older teens and adults. She is happy outside running with older kids and if her mom or dad are active that would be perfect. She thrives being an only pet cause she gets all the attention, but could be fine with a submissive male that lets her be the boss! Remy is house trained! Meet Blake! If you're looking for a big, fun-loving Husky who will play with you all day long, here's your boy. Blake loves to play with people, toys, and other dogs! As a big guy who is very eager to make friends, Blake can come on pretty strong, so would do best with another social dog. A meet and greet with any dogs in the household is always recommended. Blake is eager to learn and would benefit from positive reinforcement training to work on his skills and manners! He came to CHA through our partnership with ASPCA.
