Flame is a typical husky, and he'll require lots of mental enrichment and physical exercise to keep him happy. He promises to bring you plenty of snuggles in return! Flame has lived well with kids in the past, and we think he'd probably enjoy having some little ones to keep him company in his new home. He's done well with other dogs here at the shelter, but he can feel a little overwhelmed by paws-on play. As a big guy who is very eager to make friends, Blake can come on pretty strong, so would do best with another social dog. A meet and greet with any dogs in the household is always recommended. Remy is stunning sweet female husky mix with one brown and one blue eye and beautiful white fur. Mixed with what you ask? We're not sure but a doggy DNA test would tell us. She's only 7 months old and 50 lbs and of course still has those puppy ways.Remy is smart, happy, silly, bouncy, playful, adventurous, athletic and of course beautiful. She has alot of energy and loves to be outside. Remy would flourish in an experienced home who can give her the structure she needs. Experience with huskies are a bonus! Huskies are known for their vocalizations, ability to escape, and smarts and Remy definitely has that husky personality. Familiarity with husky characteristics are recommended.Remy would be good in a home with older teens and adults. She is happy outside running with older kids and if her mom or dad are active that would be perfect. She thrives being an only pet cause she gets all the attention, but could be fine with a submissive male that lets her be the boss! Remy is house trained! Hello, everyone! My name is Ashland, and I'm on the lookout for a special family to call my own. My journey hasn't been the easiest. I started off in a hoarding case, which left me feeling nervous and anxious around humans. But with time and patience, I've made a lot of progress in learning to trust again. I still have some anxiety to work through, but I'm trying my best to overcome it! At 3 years old, I'm already spayed and ready to settle down in a loving home. One of my best features? My stunning ice-blue eyes, of course! But beyond my looks, I have a personality that's as unique as they come. My favorite activity? Doing zoomies in the backyard! I love to run fast and hard in big circles, letting out all that nervous energy. While I may be shy at first, once I trust you, I'll shower you with kisses and happily roll over for belly rubs. In fact, you might as well call me the Belly Rub Queen! To help me continue learning how to be a pup, I'll need a few things in my forever home. Firstly, another 4-legged friend. I learn best by watching and imitating other pups' behaviors. I'm not the best fit for households with cats or small dogs, though, as I sometimes don't understand my size when trying to play. A fenced-in yard is a must for me, as I'm not a fan of leashes and get scared during walks outside. I feel safest and happiest when I can run freely in my own space. I know my needs may sound like a lot, but I promise I'm worth it! I have so much love to give, and all I want is a family to share it with. If you think you could be that family, please consider opening your heart and home to me. I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever ask for.
