Story
Jaxson is a high-energy, 6.5 year old male Husky mix. With his striking heterochromia (one blue eye and one brown eye), he's sure to turn heads! Jaxson is already neutered and used to spending lots of time outdoors in a fenced yard. A few important things to note about Jaxson: - He requires an experienced owner who can keep up with his very high energy levels through plenty of exercise and activity. - Jaxson does not get along with other pets, so he will need to be the only furry family member. No cats, dogs, or other pets in the home. - He is crate-trained and accustomed to being crated during work hours. - His ideal home would have a fenced yard where he can run and play outdoors. If you have an active lifestyle, no other pets, and are looking for a loyal, gorgeous companion, Jaxson could be the perfect fit! He's waiting for his forever family to shower him with exercise, playtime, and lots of love. Could you be his new human?

Story
RCHS does not conduct DNA tests on dogs who enter our facility therefore we are unable to guarantee breed or breed mix. Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dog’s breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

Story
Kai is a 7 year old husky. She is a very good dog and is well trained. She loves to go to the park and swim in the creek. Shes getting older to where she cant hike very long anymore but she still loves to go bye bye. She can sit, shake hands, hop up in the air, lay down, and bark for her food or a treat. Her favorite treats are apples and raw chicken feet. My kids allergies have been getting worse and we took them to an allergist which both of them are allergic to dogs. So I really hate finding a new home for my dog I have no choice now. I really hope i find someone who is really knowledgeable with husky's since they are a different kind of breed.

Story
Turtle is a sweet husky mix looking for a home that provides lots of cuddles. Turtle is roughly three years old, and was adopted after being found on the side of the road all by herself. She is house trained, leash trained, knows basic commands, and loves snuggles. Turtle's only obstacle is separation anxiety. With training and anti-anxiety medication, Turtle has made great strides. She needs a loving owner who has a lifestyle that is conducive to owning a pet with separation anxiety. That could mean someone who works from home or is retired, someone who is willing to hire a dog sitter or drop her off at daycare to limit her time alone, or someone who is active and takes her on runs. Turtle lives for her daily walks and belly rubs, and loves giving kisses. She is a gentle pup, but incredibly athletic when let off her leash at the park. With dedication, the right medication and patience, Turtle is an amazing pup.

Story
Pinky is a stunning 5-6 month old gal who we believe is a husky/retriever mix. She came to canine collective with 3 other siblings (all known as the Pac Man litter) who all look more like black labs so she stands out with a more husky look and coloring. Pinky has bi-colored eyes which is not uncommon in huskies. We estimate she weighs about 30 lbs currently.Pinky is very sweet and friendly. She is very food driven so should be easy to train. If you're interested in Pinky or her brothers Blinky or Clyde, apply at www.caninecollective.org.
