Story
HollyFemaleAge: 11 MonthsExpected Full Grown Weight: 36-40 lbs.  Breed: Husky Mix Hi there! I’m Holly! I’m a happy, fun-loving girl who’s always ready for adventure! I’ve got lots of puppy energy, so I’m looking for an active family who loves to get outside and play as much as I do. Walks, hikes, chasing balls — you name it, I’m in! I’m a social butterfly and get along great with other dogs, kids, and even cats (though I might give a friendly chase now and then — I just can’t help my curiosity!). I’d love a dog buddy or an active human to keep up with me. I’m both house-trained and crate-trained, and I’m working hard to remember that not everything is a toy (I still have a bit of that puppy chewer spirit!). I absolutely love bones and anything crunchy, and my favorite toys are chew bones and balls to chase. If you have a yard, I’ll be your zoomie queen — running, fetching, and playing to my heart’s content. A fence would be awesome for my playtime adventures, but it’s not a must if you can give me plenty of exercise and love. I do like to “chat” a little when I’m left alone, so I’d do best in a home with no shared walls (no apartments or townhomes, please) — just to keep everyone happy! I can’t wait to find my forever home — one where I can explore, play, and cuddle up after a day full of fun. If you’re looking for a smart, silly, and affectionate companion who’ll keep you laughing and moving, that’s me. If you are interested in meeting Holly apply to adopt her at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $395. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 5 or older. ##2502567##

Story
SugarFemaleAge: 7 monthsEstimated Full Grown Weight: 35-40 lbsBreed: Husky/Pocket Bully Hi, I’m Sugar — and yes, I really am as sweet as my name! I’m a gentle, shy girl with a relaxed spirit, and once I warm up, I absolutely love being close to my people. Cuddles are one of my very favorite things, and I’m happiest when I get to curl up beside you and soak up all the love. I get along wonderfully with kids and other dogs — I’m friendly, calm, and easygoing. I haven’t really met cats up close yet, but the few times I’ve seen them outside, I didn’t pay much attention, so I might do just fine with a slow introduction. I’m house trained, crate trained, and walk nicely on a leash. Since I’m still a puppy, it’s best to keep me in my crate when you leave the house for longer periods, just to make sure I stay safe and out of trouble while I’m still learning. Don’t worry — I settle in well! I adore bones, toys of all kinds, and any excuse to play. But I’m just as happy being your little shadow, following you around the house with my soft, sweet presence. I’m a loving girl who brings calm, cuddles, and joy wherever I go. If you’re looking for a gentle companion with a warm heart and a relaxed, loving nature, I’d love to be part of your family. If you are interested in meeting Sugar apply to adopt her at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $395. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 5 or older. ##2581417##

Story
Lady NymeriaFemaleAge: 3 yearsWeight: 73 lbsBreed: Siberian Husky / Alaskan Malamute Hi, I’m Lady Nymeria! You can call me Meery Moo Moo — that’s what my foster parents say when I do my adorable little woo woo (hey, I’m a husky, it’s kind of my thing!). I’m a gentle, sassy, and smart lady who loves belly rubs, squeaky toys (especially my stuffed turkey!), and curling up next to my humans for some quality cuddle time. I’m house trained, walk nicely on a leash, and know all the important things — sit, down, shake, stay, and come. I also like to add my own flair now and then, because let’s face it, I’m an independent woman who knows what she wants! I get along well with other dogs and cats, and while I haven’t officially met any kids yet, I have a kind, gentle nature — so my foster parents think I’d probably do just fine. I’d do best in a stand-alone home, though, since I’m a bit of a talker and like to express myself. When I’m not showing off my smarts or snuggling with my people, you can find me watching squirrels out the window, going for walks, or lounging on the couch like the queen I am. If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful, slightly sassy companion who will love you endlessly — and keep you entertained with my charming woo-woos — then I just might be your girl. If you are interested in meeting Lady Nymeria apply to adopt her at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 5 or older. ##2563602##

Story
CinnamonFemaleAge: 7 monthsEstimated Full Grown Weight: 35-40 lbsBreed: Husky/Pocket Bully Hi! I’m Cinnamon — sweet, smart, and always ready for fun or snuggles (especially snuggles!). I’m a cuddly puppy with an eager little heart, and I love being around people, kids, and other dogs. Whether it’s playtime or quiet time, I’m happiest when I get to share it with someone I love. I’m house trained, crate trained, and I walk very nicely on a leash. I haven’t spent much time around cats yet, so I’m not sure what I think of them, but with a careful introduction, who knows? I might do just fine. I adore bones, toys of every kind, and anything that lets me play, learn, or chew happily. I’m a very smart girl with a big eagerness to learn new things — training sessions are actually one of my favorite activities because I get to use my brain and make you proud. But my number one favorite thing in the whole world? Cuddling. If there’s a soft blanket, a comfy couch, or a warm lap, you can bet I’ll be right there curling up beside you. I’m a loving, intelligent puppy with so much joy to give. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who’s equal parts playful, bright, and affectionate, I’d love to be your new best friend. If you are interested in meeting Cinnamon apply to adopt her at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $395. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Introducing Colt! This beautiful boy is said to be a Pomsky, but he is on the larger size at almost 50 lbs. He came to DASH very shy, not really knowing what love and trust were. He is currently in our DASH Prison Program, where he is learning to socialize and just be a dog. He is working on his basic commands and is crate trained, potty trained in the prison setting and now walks well on a leash. He is coming out of his shell and likes all dogs and people. He is a little sensitive to loud noises, but is working on that with his handler. He is just a wonderful dog who needs an active person or family to continue his training and let him know he is safe and loved. He has not been kid or cat tested.
