Story
Yukon is a very friendly, well mannered, and affectionate dog. He loves to play and snuggle with everyone he comes across. He's great with kids and other animals and is very well house trained. We get complements from the neighbors all the time! Yukon was adopted from a shelter in California. His history is unknown but we believe he is 5-6 years old. We've never noticed any sign of trauma from previous homes. He has has proven to adapt to new settings well and has always gotten along with dog sitters. We're very sad to see him go, but with the amount of traveling we have to do we feel he will be happier with a family who has time to take care of him.

Story
Meet Machu!!! Machu is a rescue all the way from Puerto Rico!!! Hes a sweet, loving and adventurous buddy, and about 4 years old. Machu loves to hang out with his friend Picchu, cutely named the duo Machu Picchu. Machu enjoys long walks, sunshine, flowers, playing, having nice long naps, protecting the area, food and affection. Machu is one of the most unique dog breed ive rescued in PR, beautiful color and pattern with an amazing personality. Im looking for an adopter who is patient, more on the adventurous side (maybe someone who loves to take 20-30 min walks, enjoys the outdoors) and above all understanding. Machu had a tough life in PR i want to give this wonderful friend a good home. If willing to take him and his buddy Picchu let me know, if not Machu is ready for a warm and loving home.

Story
Arrow is a rescue that we rescued in 2016. He was thought to be 1 at the time. He came to us fully potty trained but a bit timid. It didn’t take long for him to warm up to us. He’s a really good dog and listens when spoken to. He’s easy going and mostly lazy during the day, although he does get very excited to go on walks. He loves to get cozy on the couch or bed and likes to be nearby. He’s a good companion and friend. He’s mostly quiet but will bark at strange sounds or people at the door. For the past 5 years he has been around infants to toddlers and has always had a golden retriever “sibling” since his rescue. We have discovered our youngest son is allergic to dogs so with heavy hearts we have had to make the difficult decision in re-homing our dogs.

Strong preference for someone with husky experience, fenced yard, and willingness to help Goose work through what will be a confusing time for him as he changes homes. His adoption fee is $250. Story
Sassy is currently at county pound but we will pull her if we can find a foster.Sassy and 8 other dogs were taken from abusive owners. Prior to being seized, Sassy lived indoors and never went outside. We have a volunteer who has gone to the shelter and has taken Sassy for walks and reports that Sassy is a wonderful dog! She is good on a leash and loves belly rubs.Sassy needs to be on a strong leash at all times. She gets spooked easily (remember, all of this is new to her) by cars, loud noises, etc.Sassy is approximately 40 pounds. She has been spayed. Sassy lived with dozens of cats prior to being seized and taken to the shelter.Apply to foster Sassy and help her learn to trust people and gain confidence at ricopetrecovery.org

Story
We rescued a Husky that was tied to a house and left. We have been trying to work with her for a long time. She is a runner. I unfortunately am allergic to her and can’t even touch her with out breaking out in hives. I hate to rehome her but we really have no choice. I’m trying to find help in finding her a home and I don’t know even how to begin doing that. I want to make sure she goes to a loving and matched home for her. She is approx 5 years old from what the vet told us. She is spayed. During her spay surgery she didn’t react well to anesthesia so the vet told her should can’t go under anesthesia anymore
