Yes Good with cats? No Good with kids? 12yr+ Commands known: Sit, Stay, Come. Needs fenced in yard? Yes Need another dog in the home? No Location: Columbus Energy level (high/med/low)? High/Medium. Artemis needs to get outside and run every day. If you give him a hour of activity each day he will be on his best behavior. Bio: Artemis is the perfect companion for someone who stays active! He loves to go for a long walk and  play a good game of fetch. He loves to play with other dogs and does really well with other large dogs. Woody is crate trained and only slept in his crate for the first few weeks but recently we have allowed him to sleep on his dog bed at night. Woody does shed a lot but he will not get on furniture which makes cleaning up his hair easy. He is an excellent listener, if I tell him to sit and stay at the top of my steps he will be waiting there when I finish doing my laundry. Woody has the potential to be the best trained dog in his furever home. ***PLEASE READ*** WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER OR EMAIL INQUIRIES. Story
Lucky Age: 3 yrs | Weight: 55 lbs | Breed: Pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky Mix) Status: Neutered, Fully Vaccinated, Up-to-Date on Preventatives Lucky is a vibrant, healthy, and loyal companion who has been a cherished member of his family since he was just six weeks old. Due to worsening allergies in the home and an unavoidable change in work schedules, Lucky is looking for a foster (or forever) home where he can trade his crate for more "zoomie" time and companionship. 🌟 Personality & Temperament Lucky is the perfect blend of his breeds: independent, curious, and deeply affectionate. He is a "people dog" who has never shown aggression toward humans or other animals. Vocal & Communicative: In true Husky fashion, Lucky likes to talk! He may give a low growl when it’s time to go into his crate—not out of aggression, but as a "vocal protest" because he’d much rather stay out and play with you. Everyone’s Friend: Lucky is great with other dogs, we are unsure how he does with children and cats. Alert & Attentive: He takes his job as a doorbell notifier seriously and will bark at strangers or footsteps at the door, though household sounds like the vacuum don't phase him. A Little Storm-Shy: While he’s fine indoors during bad weather, loud environmental noises like thunderstorms or large garbage trucks can make him anxious while on walks. 🏡 Life at Home Lucky is a "good boy" when it comes to house manners. He is house-trained and is not destructive when left alone. Crate Profile: He is fully crate-trained and sleeps there comfortably at night (usually starting around 8:00 PM). He currently spends 6–8 hours in his crate during the workday, but he is looking for a home where he can have more freedom and activity. Energy Level: High! Lucky loves his fenced backyard and enjoys being active. He is manageable on a leash but is always ready for an adventure. Training: He’s a smart pup who already knows Sit, Hug, High-Five, and “Let’s go outside.” 🏥 Health & Wellness Lucky is a healthy boy with no known allergies or chronic conditions. Monthly Maintenance: He stays protected with monthly Simparica trio (flea/tick/heartworm). Veterinary Records: All records are up-to-date and available for his new caregivers. 🛌 Ideal Foster Match Lucky would thrive in a home where: Someone is home more often or has a shorter workday. There is a fenced yard for him to burn off his Pomsky energy. The family enjoys an active lifestyle and can continue his basic training. A Note from the Family: "This was not an easy decision. Our goal is simply to find a home that can give Lucky the time, exercise, and attention that fits his wonderful personality. He has been loved since day one, and we want to see him flourish."

Story
WoofflesMaleAge: 1 yearWeight: 46 lbsBreed: German Shepherd/Husky Hi, I’m Wooffles! I’m a silly, loving guy looking for my best friend. I have the handsome face of a German Shepherd, the goofiness of a Husky, and I’m a world-class cuddler. I’m great with dogs and cats and love playing with both. I haven’t been around a lot of kids, but I’ve loved the attention from the ones I’ve met. I can be a little shy with new people at first, but I warm up quickly and absolutely LOVE attention. I’m house trained and crate trained and should be crated when left alone. I love treats, squeaky toys, car rides, and especially snuggling up with my human at the end of the day. Right now, I’m finishing treatment for heartworms and I’ll need to stay on activity restriction until about mid-September while I recover. Because I’ve had to take it easy, I haven’t had much practice with walks yet, so I may need a little leash training and socialization once I’m cleared. I’m a smart boy, though, and I think I’ll catch on quickly. Once I get the all-clear, I’ll be SO excited to play with other pups, go for walks, run around, and become someone’s adventure buddy. I could easily see myself becoming the perfect patio pup for those beautiful autumn days. Until then, I’m perfectly happy taking car rides with my ears flopping in the wind, having silly moments with my foster siblings, and cuddling with my people. Could I be your new best friend?  Interested in meeting Wooffles? Apply to adopt him at www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350 Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children in the home must be age 5 or older. ##2734605##

Meet Daisy — an 18‑month‑old husky mix with a joyful, adventurous spirit. She’s playful and always ready for fun. Daisy is fully housebroken and even uses a bell chain to let you know when she needs to go out. She’s also crate‑trained and settles well when it’s time to relax.Daisy currently lives with another dog and older children and enjoys being part of an active household. She loves to play, explore, and be involved in whatever her people are doing. A home that can offer her space to stretch her legs — whether that’s a fenced yard, regular walks, or outdoor adventures — would make her happiest.

Story
Amelia an 11yr old husky and is a snuggle bug. I've had her since she was 8wks old. She's house trained, and knows basic commands. Gets excited around cats and small dogs when first meeting them but after being introduced does great with them and is very gentle with children of all ages. No prior health concerns except some stomach problems so she eats a prescription food. I'm unfortunately moving states and cant take her with me. Just looking for a good home for her.

Meet Elsa! ❄️With a name like Elsa, you probably won't be surprised to see a gorgeous snow-white coat! This Elsa may not live in an ice palace, but with her snowy coat, pink nose, and fabulous curled tail, she certainly looks the part.Elsa is a 1-year, 8-month-old Husky mix weighing about 40 pounds, and the reviews so far are unanimous: this girl is an absolute sweetheart. She is affectionate, loves attention, and seems to love everyone she meets. One volunteer summed her up perfectly: “She’s just super sweet... and absolutely stunningly beautiful.”And stunning she is! During her photo session, Elsa was a little too interested in everything happening around her to spend much time posing. There were things to see, places to explore, and people to visit! But when we did catch her attention, we got that wonderful big Elsa smile. At not quite two years old, Elsa is still a young dog, and we're looking forward to learning even more about her as she settles in. For now, we know she's sweet, affectionate, curious, people-loving — and pretty hard to resist. If interested, apply at www.caninecollective.org.
