Story
Juneau is a 2-3 year old husky mix looking for her forever home! She is a beautiful, active girl who just wants a family to adventure with. She had a rough start to life when she found herself pregnant and in a shelter to have her babies, but you would never know it when you meet her! She is all smiles and love and now that all of her babies are gone, she is ready to find her perfect home too. This spunky girl is SO smart, and needs a family that can keep up with her antics! She loves going for walks and would enjoy a family that she can hike and adventure with. She would be a great candidate for tricks training, dog sports and agility! Sometimes, Juneau is too smart for her own good, so she needs a family that will keep an eye on her! She has been known to counter surf a time or two. She does well in a crate so she won’t be upset if she needs to relax in her kennel while you’re busy. After her body & brain are tired out, she likes to lounge, but she isn’t a huge snuggler so she will respect your space! Juneau thinks kids are AWESOME and would love a home with dog-savvy kids that enjoy a game of chase. Juneau is as quirky as she is cute, and she deserves a home that meets her specific needs. She would love a fur sibling in her home that enjoys playing but also respects boundaries. This beautiful girl needs a home that will keep her mind busy and not expect her to be a couch potato. If she sounds like the adventure buddy you’ve been looking for, apply today! 🖤SHILOH🐾 Gentle, handsome, senior husky 🐕 After years of neglect, he’s safe in rescue & getting the care he deserves. We were told that he formally belonged to a neighbor who used to keep him on a chain and never let him in. But recently he had let him go and said he did not want him anymore. Probably because, Shiloh had a tumor growing on his underside and he did not want to be responsible. He has finished his antibiotics and steroids, and the tumor has been removed. The good news is …. It isn’t cancerous!!! And his heart and lungs, and all other x-rays were clear 🖤 True to his breed, he is vocal and full of adorable personality. He greets every human with a soft “awoooo” and lots of cuteness😍 Good with other dogs, but doesn’t need any in his forever home. He’s a bit of a loner. 🤣 In search of a yard to sunbathe in, snacks & pets from people that love him, and the opportunity to live out his golden years how he deserves 💕 If you’re interested in adopting a settled, senior boy, please consider welcoming Shiloh into your home! Meet Mr Max 💙 This handsome blue-eyed boy is a three-year-old Husky. Mr Max was found as a stray by a wonderful family who made every attempt to find his owners. Unfortunately, he was not microchipped, was not neutered and had Heartworms. Max is completely healthy now and is finally ready for his forever family. 🎉 Max is an awesome dog and he definitely has a lot of Husky characteristics. He is very smart and very headstrong in true Husky fashion. Max loves to go for walks and is great on leash but he will let you know if you try to stop the walk before he is ready. He has been known to stage a complete sit-down and tell you all about it in his best Husky voice 😂. Max is an active, playful boy who also loves to snuggle in for belly rubs and pets. He makes quick friends with everyone he meets and is quite the charmer. 😍 Max would be great with older children and he is good with dogs his size or bigger but would not do well with small animals. Max is house and crate trained. He likes to have his peeps with him and would not do well home alone for long periods of tine. 🐾 Max is an amazing pup who he needs someone with Husky experience that understands the breed. He is super smart and needs a confident owner who can keep him challenged and busy so he does not get into trouble 🎾🥏⚽️ Max also needs a secure fence and an active caretaker. He would love to be a hiking or running companion or maybe a fly ball or agility champion. 🏆 So if you know and love the breed and feel you would be the perfect family for Max then please fill out the application. Whoever is chosen as this guy’s forever family will be very lucky 🌈🍀🌈

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nora and her litter mates are owner surrenders from Tennessee. They were an accidental litter and the owners reached out for help. The mom and dad will be staying with the owners and another rescue paid for them to be fixed. These puppies are Siberian Husky and Australian Shepherd dog mixes (photos of parents below). This litter was born on December 13th, 2022.Nora is a very sweet and friendly pup!  This girl has loved every person she has met!  She has done well with meeting other dogs; cats we do not know.  Nora is a smart and athletic pup who loves to play and can also stop for kisses and lovin from her humans :-).  She is an older pup and will need to be exercised regularly as all pups do.  Both house training and leash training will need continued work, but she is improving.  Honestly, Nora just has a fantastic temperament and she will make a very loving and sweet pet for a lucky family!!  We will not be able to get Nora spayed until the end of summer and want her to find his forever home sooner than later.  Therefore, we have decided to reduce the adoption fee to $350 since she is almost 6 months old.  The adopter will be responsible for having to get her spayed.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  Nora is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting Nora, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.netThank you for your interest in a rescue puppy!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 6, 2023, 7:06 am

**MEET SNOW**Snow came to us back in the middle of March, she was scared, pregnant and homeless. We took her in and found her owner but when we contacted him, he said that he had re-homed her a few days earlier but he had no idea who he gave her to...... I Know what you are thinking; how can you "re-home" a pet and not know who you gave them to. Trust me, we feel the same way..... Fast forward to April 7th 2023, Good Friday. Snow gave birth to 11 healthy puppies, 6 girls and 5 boys! She was such a great mom! I can't even imagine having 11 kids let alone all the same age. She did such an amazing job but 11 puppies are lot for any mom so we had to help a little bit. Snow is picky of her dog friends, she would do better as an only dog but she does get along with some. She LOVES being with people, all she wants is loved on. If you think Snow is the right dog for you, please submit an application.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. BABY BEAR IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED. BABY BEAR NEEDS A MIRACLE. Baby Bear was adopted from our rescue as a young puppy. Six years later he is brought into the Animal Emergency Center as a found injured dog. Baby Bear had a hip fracture. We had him transferred to one of our vets and owner/original adopter was never located and had not kept the address info on the microchip current. Once at the vet's office we learned Baby Bear was now heartworm positive and had an old injury to one of his eyes. We have treated his heartworms and his fractured hip, and he is now healthy. The eye does not seem to bother him, but it does drain sometimes. The vet feels he probably does not see out of that eye. This boy is stunning! When first meeting, he growls for the first five seconds and then after that he is your best friend! He is a big guy, but that does not keep him from leaning into you completely. He also will try and fit in your lap. Baby Bear is about 8 years old and weighs about 70 pounds. He has done well with other dogs (big and small) with slow introductions. He thoroughly enjoys lounging around. The couch is one of his favorite spots. He rides well in the car and walks good on a leash. It does not take him long at all to completely bond with you. He loves for his gorgeous fur to be brushed. He still has spurts of puppy energy where he will roll over and promptly show you his belly for belly rubs. This is a friendly, happy, go with the flow kind of dog. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and microchipped. Baby Bear deserves another chance at a furever family and honestly needs a miracle. He has been with the rescue way too long and would love to live the rest of his life with a family that loves him. His adoption fee is $450. That includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Baby Bear up north to his new family.  I f you are interested in adopting Baby Bear, please go here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net . Any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ***PIPER IS IN HER FOSTER HOME LOCATED IN MEMPHIS, TN.  TRANSPORTATION TO PA IS ARRANGED WHEN THE ADOPTION IS FINALIZED*** Piper is a 16 week old puppy with speed and energy. She enjoys playing with her siblings but will jump over them if they are in her way during her zoomie runs. She gets the zoomies every night before bedtime. She enjoys sitting in your lap and napping in the morning. She loves tossing and tugging on her toys. Piper is an attention hog and doesn’t want anyone to ignore her. She is good at walking on a leash, but still gets really excited and jumps when she sees people. When she finds a toy she loves, Piper will play keep away from other dogs even if it means running away with it. When not running like a maniac she is sleeping on the first spot she comes to, which is usually on the couch with her humans. Piper would thrive in a family with another dog as she loves to play with all of our dogs. Piper loves children and has never met a stranger. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Piper will be a great addition to any family!  Piper's adoption fee of $500 includes transportation to her new home in PA.   New Beginnings Animal Rescue uses a licensed and registered USDA transport company.     You can apply to adopt here:   http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application22.html   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!
