Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fiona arrived to our rescue on May 31st coming from Houston, TX where she was found as a stray.  She is a beautiful, sweet pup that is now in search of her forever home!We believe Fiona is around 6 months old and is currently weighing 31 pounds.  Our best guess is that she will end up just being a medium size girl.  As for breeds, we don't know for sure, but believe she has some husky and shepherd in her (along with many other breeds).  She has one blue eye and one brown eye!  She is a truly beautiful dog!Fiona is shy when first meeting people and may take a little while to warm up.  She absolutely loves other dogs and being in the company of them helps with her confidence.  We think it would be in her best interest to have at least one other playful dog in her future home.  We are not sure how she would be with cats.  The fact that she is timid, we are looking for more of an adult family.Fiona does great in her crate and will go right in and lay down on command.  She is a very smart girl!  She is house trained for the most part with just an occassional accident.  At night time, she does not sleep in the crate and does completely fine.  Her foster mom is working with her on leash walking, but this is going to take her some time and patience.  She goes in and out with the other dogs and seems to know her name as she does come when called.  The fact that she is just learning how to walk on a leash, she should have a fenced yard.  Fiona is a very sweet pup that needs a person, couple or family to help her learn confidence and continue with her training.  She is spayed and current on vaccines and preventative.  Her adoption fee is $450.If you are interested in this beautiful girl, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.netThank you for your interest in a rescue dog!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 15, 2025, 8:02 pm

Meet Sasha! Sasha is a 2 year old Siberian PURE Husky gal. Typical of her breed Sasha is an energetic, fun loving gal always looking for an adventure. Her quirky, happy-go-lucky personality will keep you entertained all day long. Sasha gets along well with other dogs and cats.  Kids, adults, basically any 2 or 4 leggeds are great! Being a husky, Sasha will require some grooming to "Pull out the fur clumps" or they will decorate the carpet! Due to the huskies independence and wanderlust, a fenced yard would be best. She also has a GREAT Howl if given the chance to bellow it out!  Come meet Sasha, we have NO IDEA why she is still with us as she is a GREAT GAL!  To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Story
Hey everyone! My name is Brody. I’m told my name is Scottish meaning “Ditch or Muddy Place”, totally fitting for a pup (and my litter) being found in a coal mine. Initially black in color (go figure), after a deep cleaning bubble bath, my beautiful chestnut, tan, white soft thick coat shone through with black highlights offset by my STUNNING “Baby Blues”! Not sure why my litter mates have been adopted, leaving me. I’m told I have always been the volunteers favorite due to my Gentle Demeanor and "Sweet as Sugar" personality. Guess it’s my initial shyness. I’m assured my “true soul mate” is out there, just need to find one another! Now 11/2 year old, weight a petite 40#, I’m thought to be a husky mixed with a smaller pooch. Due to my shyness, I will need a 4 foot fence to ensure my safety. I’m great with other dogs, kids, people of all ages once I settle in. (Maybe cats) No mean bones here! Being a Happy-Go-Lucky boy, I just love a good game of chase, tug or simply a walk with my person. Then it’s time to settle in for a nap and snuggle time. Please consider meeting me. This “coal mining boy” is digging to meet his forever family! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat.
