Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This beguiling spayed Husky is Princess, or as she is affectionately called “Pretty Princess” by her doting staff and canine volunteers. Princess has quite possibly the clearest blue eyes out of all our resident canines. Princess looks forward to her daily time in our outdoor playpens and long walks by our pond. Miss Princess is dog selective and has specific criteria in which she uses to assess fellow canines. This fluffy girl has been learning leash manners and has taken very well to listening to commands. She is still learning to manage her excitement when she gets clipped to a leash so some patience and muscle is needed to continue working with her. Princess is looking to be the center of your attention to someone who understands Huskies. Princess can be off leash in a fenced in yard if one keeps an eye on her!If you are interested in meeting her, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12p & 2p-5:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Complete an adoption application online to be pre-approved for adoption. If you do not own your home, bring consent from the property owner to have a dog on the property. As always, if you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption. Adoption fees: 6m and younger $250, 7m-5y $200, 6y-10y $150, 11y and older $100.

Story
Allow me to introduce Miss Cassie, a young and infinitely energetic Husky. She is the true embodiment of the breed as her desire to explore and outsmart are a top priority. Cassie is the ultimate Houdini and can escape even the tallest of fences therefore she can only be outside if on a leash. Cassie is as sweet as sugar when around staff and canine volunteers. She was a bit timid after she was surrendered, but has opened up like a spring flower. Cassie has not been negative towards other dogs, however with the nature of Huskies it’s best remain cautious. She is sure to never disappoint in the realm of love as her tail never stops waging giving us all a smile. Please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12p & 2p-5:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- HOPE IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.Meet Hope! Hope is approximately 10 years old and 64 pounds. She is a wonderful companion with great house manners. Hope is house-trained, walks well on the lead, and is social and loving. Hope came to us from a WV shelter. She is fostering with a retiree and would be a great companion for an older couple.Hope wasn't spayed until she came to our rescue and unfortunately had developed some mammary tumors. All of the tumors were removed and her chest X-rays and bloodwork are good.Hope is spayed and vaccinated for dhlpp, bordetella, and rabies. She has a 4DX heartworm test and microchip with lifetime registration. Hope is on monthly parasite prevenatives. Also included in the adoption are 30 days of Pet First Pet Insurance, and Petco's Free Welcome to the Family Program. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hello, I'm ChaseLife hasn't always been easy for me. I've roamed the streets, trying to find my place in this big, confusing world. But now, at two years old, I'm ready to settle down and be the loyal companion I was born to be.I'm a Husky mix, with a spirit as wild as the wind and eyes that shine with curiosity. I love to run, to explore, to feel the earth beneath my paws. But there are a few things you should know about me.Firstly, I'm not a fan of small animals. The fact that I am a husky mix, I have a VERY high pray drive. When my brother and I were caught running, we had killed some chickens and some other smaller farm birds. We didn't set out to do what we did but again, we have a VERY high drive. So if you have small animals like bunnies, birds, small dogs or cats, it is NOT a good idea to adopt a Husky. And as for young kids, well, they're a bit too much for me. Their energy is infectious, but sometimes it's just too overwhelming. I prefer a calm environment where I can relax and unwind without any unexpected surprises. But don't let that deter you. I have so much love to give, to the right person or family. If you're someone who enjoys long walks in the great outdoors then maybe we could be the perfect match.I promise to be your faithful companion, your adventure buddy, your confidant. Together, we can explore the world and create memories that will last a lifetime. So, if you're looking for a furry friend to share your life with, consider giving me a chance. My name is Chase, and I'm ready to find my forever family.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Neko is a rambunctious pup. He needs someone with patience. He would do best in a home where the people are active. Do to his excitability and jumping, we are looking for a home with children over 12 years old. He loves to play. Neko doesn't get along well with all dogs or cats. Interested adopters need to come a few times to meet. He would do best with a fenced yard.

Story
Mikko and Denali are brothers even though they don't look alike. They became a member of our family as puppies 4 years ago. Mikko's original taker backed out and we chose to take both puppies. Mikko and Denali are fun, loving, energetic boys who need a home with a large, fenced in yard to run around. They love to play but, in their down time they love to be right beside you getting belly rubs. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to move and get a divorce. I have to work two jobs and can't provide them the time and attention they deserve. While this breaks my heart, it also makes me happy knowing that they will have a home filled with love and attention. They need to be together as they are a bonded pair. Please consider giving these precious boys a home, you won't be disappointed!
