Story
Meet Mamas🤍🐾 This sweet girl is a beautiful Siberian Husky and she is in urgent need of a new, loving furever home. My name is Noelle, my cousin is her owner and she is unable to give Mamas the proper love and care she needs and deserves. I would take her in a heartbeat if my hands weren’t already full with my two German Shepherds and two cats. Some more to know about Mamas: She is believed to be about 5 years old. She sadly came from an abusive owner and backyard breeder. She is currently not up to date on vaccines but I will be trying to get that taken care of. She has an undiagnosed eye condition that is causing vision issues. A husky rescuer I spoke with believes it could be cataracts which would require surgery to prevent further complications. She has accidents inside occasionally especially overnight. She is great with children and other dogs. She also would do fine with cats. With time, dedication and proper training I believe Mamas could be the best girl.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. Courtesy post: Dusty is a 2.5 year old neutered male Husky looking for his forever home. Located in New England. He was taken in by a kind family when his owners lost their home. They were living in a motor home and lost heat in the middle of January, so they deemed it best to no longer keep their dogs. The family who currently has Dusty took in all 3 dogs and found homes for 2 of them but Dusty remains. Please share! Dusty loves kids! He currently lives with other dogs but it is recommended for him to meet other dogs first because he can be selective of who he likes and doesn’t like. He's been known to tease the other dogs in his foster home. He has never gone after the other dogs but teases them (one in particular). In his previous home he lived with 2 other dogs. He is also fostered with a lizard and two macaws. He does not bother the cats or birds but will eat their food! He loves to hike! Loves jeep rides with the wind in his big old head! He’s an overall perfect dog. He’s crate trained but sleeps with us. He will howl! Please do your homework on the breed, they aren't for everyone! To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
