We’ve had him since he was born. He is a great dog, does not bother or bark at anyone. But it’s just too much for us now. We have 3 kids and are downsizing our home and we cannot really afford to have him anymore.

Story
I've owned & raised Huskies for 28+ years. This August will be 3 years that I lost the love of my life, my white Husky, Sabbath. Eventually, I got Remus. Absolutely love this breed. But- I'm now 52 & have MS. I have come to realize that with my physical limitations, I am no longer able to give a Husky their best life. I don't have a fenced in yard for him & walking him is very difficult. We are going to be moving in a few weeks to a townhouse with a fenced yard, but it's a very small yard, enough to trot around in, but not for him to get in any kind of running or proper exercise. I have an Italian Greyhound, whom he loves, but a 13 lb play is just not enough. He LOVES playing with other big dogs. Because of this, I feel like I'm ripping him off & I just want the best life for him. He needs a fenced in yard & someone who already has a big dog & would like a friend for him or her💜

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.   Courtesy post: Dusty is a 2.5 year old neutered male Husky looking for his forever home. Located in New England. He was taken in by a kind family when his owners lost their home. They were living in a motor home and lost heat in the middle of January, so they deemed it best to no longer keep their dogs. The family who currently has Dusty took in all 3 dogs and found homes for 2 of them but Dusty remains. Please share! Dusty loves kids! He currently lives with other dogs but it is recommended for him to meet other dogs first because he can be selective of who he likes and doesn’t like. He's been known to tease the other dogs in his foster home. He has never gone after the other dogs but teases them (one in particular). In his previous home he lived with 2 other dogs. He is also fostered with a lizard and two macaws. He does not bother the cats or birds but will eat their food! He loves to hike! Loves jeep rides with the wind in his big old head! He’s an overall perfect dog. He’s crate trained but sleeps with us. He will howl! Please do your homework on the breed, they aren't for everyone!
