Story
Hiya, I`m Sky! I`m ready to be the star of your show and your life! I`m a young girl with quite a bit of spunk - so I`m looking for a home that has experience with sassy and headstrong dogs like me. I`m your typical husky in that I love to encourage my mischievous side - sometimes I play escape games, some days I like singing, somedays I`m sassy. Because of my sass (and lack of interest in cuddling), I`m looking for a home with kids 13 and older. I`m not sure how I feel about other dogs but I would most prefer one that can learn to read my husky body language. I`m really ready to skip out of this shelter and straight into my new home! Please stop by the shelter to meet me and take me home! I promise a life with me will be anything but dull.---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Hey everyone! My name is Brody. I’m told my name is Scottish meaning “Ditch or Muddy Place”, totally fitting for a pup (and my litter) being found in a coal mine. Initially black in color (go figure), after a deep cleaning bubble bath, my beautiful chestnut, tan, white soft thick coat shone through with black highlights offset by my STUNNING “Baby Blues”! Not sure why my litter mates have been adopted, leaving me. I’m told I have always been the volunteers favorite due to my Gentle Demeanor and "Sweet as Sugar" personality. Guess it’s my initial shyness. I’m assured my “true soul mate” is out there, just need to find one another! Now 1 year old, weight a petite 35#, I’m thought to be a husky mixed with a smaller pooch. Due to my shyness, I will need a 4 foot fence to ensure my safety. I’m great with other dogs, kids, people of all ages once I settle in. (Maybe cats) No mean bones here! Being a Happy-Go-Lucky boy, I just love a good game of chase, tug or simply a walk with my person. Then it’s time to settle in for a nap and snuggle time. Please consider meeting me. This “coal mining boy” is digging to meet his forever family! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Koda joined our rescue on 2/22 from Houston, TX and is on the search for a new forever home!  He was part of an 'unexpected' litter and being sent to rescue was his best chance of finding that forever home.  We have been told the mom is a husky and dad(s) are unknown.Koda's estimated DOB is 10/5/2024.  He is currently weighing in at 26 lbs and will probably end up being a medium to large size dog (50 to 60 lbs).  This sweet boy is in a foster home and this is what his foster mom said about him:  'Koda can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly.  He loves to be close to his people.  He's a happy pup and very inquisitive and friendly.  He does well sleeping in a crate or in a dog bed.  Toys are a blast and romping with his foster sister is pretty fun, too! Koda is the perfect balance between calm and active.  He is house trained for the most part.  We are truly enjoying fostering him and have to say, he's 'pretty perfect'!'.  Koda is current on his distemper, bordatella and rabies vaccinations; dewormed; current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.  His adoption fee is $450.  If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  For any questions you have, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.Thank you for your interest in a rescue pup!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 26, 2025, 9:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Brock and his 3 brothers joined our rescue on 2/22 from Houston, TX where they were pups from an unwanted litter.  We have been told that the mom is a husky mix.  As far as the dad(s), we have no idea.  They look like they may have some shepherd in them, but they are not going to be very large dogs.  Our best guess is somewhere between 50 to 60 lbs.Brock currently is weighing in at 15 lbs.  His foster mom says he is a total lovebug!  He does really well with her children.  They do have another dog in the family in which he does well, however, does not seem interested in playing with her.  He is more in tune to being with people.  Brock is a smart pup and doing really well with his crate and house training.  He is a rather laid back puppy and most content just snuggling with his humans :-)!Brock is current on his distemper and bordatella vaccines along with his flea/tick/heartworm preventative and deworming.  His adoption fee is $450.If you are interested in adopting Brock, please submit an application on our website at httsp://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  For any questions you may have, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.Thank you for your interest in a rescue pup!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 27, 2025, 12:41 pm
