Story
Are you ready for fun, frolic and just want to have a good time? Well, I’m your gal! Hey there, I’m known as Daffy. No, not like Daffy the Duck, I’m Daffy the “Friendly to all People” girl that is 6 months old and about 45# that’s looking for not only a good time but a “Furever Home”! Presently living in a rescue/kennel environment, I do need to learn a few things. But being a smart Husky/Pit mix, I’m ready and willing to take my next step and learn to be a great buddy for the whole family. I love to play not only with 2 legged folks, large and small, but also other dogs and possibly cats if given a correct introduction. I’m eager to please, affectionate, loyal, even tempered and yes, even a little “Goofy” in my play. Ball you say, GREAT! Just give it a toss! Huskies are known to be “Free-Spirited”, agile, athletic, ready to explore the outside world and good-natured with everyone. Daffy is just that and more. She is a beautiful pup that is excited to see everyone. Once she says hello, she will settle down and take in your love. Please give my rescue a call to meet me, you will not be disappointed! Daffy is “like Taffy” sweet in demeanor and will stick to your side as you explore together.   DOB: 11/24/23  Pups are Pitbull/Husky mixes.  They are spayed and ready for homes.  Both are very friendly with people and other dogs.  We are not looking to adopt them together. To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!My name is Neko.  I am young and playful.  My human family is super busy and they just aren't home enough to give me the love I deserve but they want me to find a great home with people who will have time to give me all the attention and exercise I need.I enjoy morning conversations I mean well of course I am a husky!!!  I give great kisses.  I would LOVE lots of fun time and again 'i'm a husky' :)If you are looking for a couch potatoe I am not your guy.  If you don't like to give good brushings and you don't like dog hair well what can I say 'i'm a husky'!I'm super adorable even if I say so myself.  So if you want to see if we are compatible fill out an application and maybe we will get together for a play date :)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!July 23, 2024, 8:06 pm

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Butch is a sweet hearted senior who was abandoned at a shelter when his owners divorced. Going from having a home all your life to being in a loud, scary shelter must be incredibly hard. We were told Butch is 9 years old, but I suspect he is more like 12. He was in horrific condition at the shelter and had to be shaved because he was so matted. He is a very low key, unassuming boy who would be perfectly content to lie at your feet and just have your company. He doesn't ask for much and it takes very little to make him a happy boy. I hope someone will open their heart to Butch. He deserves to live out his days with someone who loves him, with the comfort of a soft bed for his old bones. He's in good health but does have some allergies that cause him to gnaw on his legs and causes eye boogers to develop often. He is not on any medication other than his monthly preventives. He is located in Arkansas but transport to the northeast is available. He can be adopted here in AR or in the northeast. His fee is waived. He is good with other low energy dogs but would not do well with young dogs pestering him, and he is not a candidate for a home with cats. We believe he is a chow mix and weighs about 75lbs. Please share. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Harrisburg, PA 2am FridaysPort Jervis, NJ 5am FridaysSouthington, CT 8am FridaysEast Hartford, CT 11am Fridays To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
