Story
After being spotted wandering around by himself, this handsome fella was brought to the rescue. Because his owners were never found, he is now available for adoption. Cinco is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and appears to be housebroken. He is believed to be a Husky/Beagle mix and is approximately 5 years old. Cinco enjoys walks, playing outside, and getting lots of love from volunteers. Cinco is a sweetheart, but he hates going back into his kennel and isn’t shy about letting us know. Cinco is looking for a home where he can be free to roam & not have to be crated when family is away and with no young children due to his strong-willed personality. Oftentimes, inappropriate behaviors, such as Cinco’s temper tantrums when returning to his kennel, diminish once a dog is settled in a home. Other than this quirk, he is a happy, loving pup that is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. Cinco is probably the most affectionate dog currently under our care. He absolutely loves giving kisses, getting attention, and making people smile. If you’d like to give this fun-loving pup a furever home, please call Tri-County Animal Rescue Center ( kennel license # 8704 ) at 814-918-2032, email us (contactus@tricounty-arc.org), or message us on Facebook.

Story
Della, an approximately 1 year old, female Husky /Shepherd mix was surrendered to the rescue when owner was unable to keep her in his apartment any longer. Owner who had only had Della for 3 months reported she was house trained and knew the command "sit". It was only he & Della that lived in the apartment and when he had to leave she had a seperate room she would stay in till his return. Della is looking for a home where she can be free to roam & not have to be crated when family is away and with no young children due to her resouce guarding issues & strong-willed personality. Oftentimes, inappropriate behaviors, such as Della's temper tantrums when returning to her kennel, diminish once a dog is settled in a home. Della is an active, intelligent girl looking for a family that will prioritize training ( especially regarding resource issues), physical exercise, mental stimulation along with her general daily needs. Della is house trained, current on vaccines and spayed. For more information on this beautiful girl please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center (kennel license # 8704 )

******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Meet Celine Dion – a stunning 4-year-old Greyhound/Lab mix with a personality as big as her name! Weighing in around 58 pounds, Celine was rescued from the euthanasia list at a Houston shelter and has been thriving ever since in her loving foster home in North Carolina. She’s spayed, healthy, and available for out-of-state adoption once matched with an approved adopter—transport can be arranged to bring this superstar home to you! Celine is joyful, curious, and always ready for fun. She brings a playful spark wherever she goes—whether it’s romping in the yard with dog friends, chasing her favorite toy, or exploring new places. Her ideal playmates are other large dogs who enjoy an energetic buddy and don’t mind a little bounce in their step. She’d also be perfectly happy as the center of attention in a home where she can get plenty of activity and enrichment. This sweet girl is making great strides with her leash manners and training. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and settles quickly after an initial burst of excitement when it’s time for a walk. She’s eager to please and motivated by treats, which makes her a fun and responsive learner. Celine adores people and has done wonderfully around her foster’s 12-year-old child. She gets so excited to say hello that she sometimes forgets her size—but she’s learning to greet people more gently and is improving every day. Because of her enthusiasm, we recommend a home with kids over 10 who are comfortable around playful, happy dogs. She’s respectful with toys and food, shows no guarding behavior, and enjoys being near her humans for affection, praise, and snuggles. In the car, she may pant at first, but she’s gaining confidence with each ride—and a few more adventures will help her become a travel pro. Celine would thrive in an active home with room to stretch her legs, regular walks, and loving guidance to help her keep growing into her best self. Whether she’s your one-and-only or joins a friendly pack, she’s ready to fill your days with laughter, companionship, and love. Ready to be serenaded daily with joy and tail wags? Celine Dion is waiting to steal your heart. ___ ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾 Meet Huck – Your Missing Puzzle Piece 🐾 Age: 3 years Weight: 43 lbs Breed blend: Alaskan Klee Kai (compact Husky-type charm!) Huck isn’t just a dog — he’s a ray of sunshine with four paws and a tail. With his playful spirit, gentle nature, happy disposition and love for people and animals, he’s always in good spirits and ready for life’s next adventure. He’s currently living it up with his “siblings” and even the resident cats — and yes, he leaves the kitties in peace. Huck enjoys running, playing with other pups, and being right in the mix of family life. 💡 Fun fact: Huck’s smaller size and striking looks resemble the Alaskan Klee Kai, a breed known for being curious, intelligent, agile, and active — all traits Huck embodies! Huck’s Favorites: 🦴 Toy: His beloved dog bone — though he’s happy to chew on any safe treasure he finds outside. 🤲 Rub spots: Top of his head and belly. 🎭 Cute quirks: Occasionally howls like Snoopy, cocks his head and lifts one paw when curious, and will lean his whole body against you just to soak up as much love as possible. What Huck brings to the table: - Gentle, affectionate temperament - Fabulous with kids, dogs, and even cats - House-trained and knows some basic commands - Loves learning new words (he knows a lot of “human talk” already!) - Active and adventurous — perfect for an outdoorsy family Ideal Home: A fenced yard, other pets or kids to play with, and an active household where he can be part of the action. Huck would thrive with daily exercise and outdoor adventures, whether you’re in town with a yard, out in the country, or somewhere in between. Huck is that last jigsaw piece — the one that will complete your life’s puzzle. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, a BFF, and a constant presence to share all your “going ons,” Huck would love to fill that spot. Ready to complete your puzzle? Apply for Huck today at haydudeequine.org and let the fun filled days begin!!

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌙 Meet Amira — The Adventurous Husky Princess Ready for Her Happily Ever After 🌙 (Female • Husky • ~2 Years • ~45 lbs) After raising her beautiful litter with patience, love, and the kind of calm wisdom only a good momma possesses, Amira is officially ready for her chapter — the one where she gets to be the star, the sidekick, the adventure buddy, and the center of someone’s world. At around 2 years old and approximately 45 pounds, Amira is the perfect blend of sweet, friendly, and athletic. She’s got that classic Husky sparkle in her eyes — the one that says, “I love you… but also, I might try to outsmart your fence.” Yes, she’s an escape artist. A graceful, strategic, probably-should-have-her-own-action-movie escape artist. Because of her athleticism and creativity, she’ll thrive in a home that chooses leash walks or adventure outings over backyard alone time. Hiking? Jogging? Exploring? She’s all in. Checking the mail? She’ll come too. Now that her mom duties are done, she wants to be included in all the family goings-on. Amira is wonderful with kids and other dogs, and she carries a calm, reassuring energy — the kind that makes you feel like everything’s a little better when she’s nearby. Cats are still an unknown, but with her affectionate nature, slow and proper introductions could set her up for success. She’s playful, sweet, and deeply loyal. After pouring her heart into caring for her pups, she’s ready to receive that same love back — long walks, warm snuggles, silly moments, and a home that treats her like the amira (princess) she truly is. 🌟 Amira’s Stats: - Female Husky - Around 2 years old - ~45 lbs - Friendly, playful, athletic - Great with kids & other dogs - Cats: unknown - Escape artist — best with leash walks & secure handling - Active, outdoorsy homes are her dream match If you're searching for a stunning, spirited, affectionate dog who will adore being part of your adventures — Amira is ready to step into the spotlight and finally live the good life she deserves. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — and let Amira be part of every sunrise, every stroll, and every happy moment ahead. 🐾💙
