Story
adoption donation : $650 weight 35 lbs Age 5 months as of 4/20   Helena and her sisters Harriet and Hattie are adorable puppies who may be husky mixes but are most definitely adorable, friendly and sweet girls! They are having a grand time in his foster home, romping and playing at Wags and snuggling together in a big puppy pile to nap. Harriet and Helena look practically identical, Hattie is the blond. Their brother Henry has already been adopted.  The puppies were found by a truck driver in a rural part of Mississippi, abandoned in a deserted field. Two of the siblings had already sadly passed away. The driver gathered up the remaining pups and brought them to Wags. Since then, the three girls have thrived, getting the vet care, food and vaccines that they need. They are friendly and loving and will make great family dogs. They are also very mellow! They like to run and play outside but at home they are couch potatoes!  Hattie, Helena and Harriet are currently in Mississippi and would love to board the transport anytime in the next couple of weeks and head to the northeast! These darling girls are ready to give sloppy kisses to the lucky family who adopts him. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay neuter. Story
Trace is beautiful, very sweet  husky who was found as a stray in a park called the Natchez Trace in northern Mississippi. Trace has settled in well at the rescue, she gets along with all the dog and has shown no aggression, she is friendly and loving. The vet estimates she is around 2 years old.    When she meets new people, Trace’s tail wags. if you are looking for a cuddle, she will curl right into your lap! She loves to run and play, she would love another dog for company and to romp with.     Like any husky Trace needs a family willing to give her the exercise and structure that she needs, ideally she her adopter would have experience with Huskies.      Trace has not been around any cats at the rescue so we can’t be sure how she would react. She does get along fine with dogs and his friendly to anybody that she has met.    Trace  has been spayed, she’s heartworm negative and current on vaccinations. She is ready to make a wonderful family member.  Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 200 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes. For more information on Trace  or any of our Wags dogs please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com      May 13, 2025, 9:13 pm

Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Bowie - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello hello big ole world let me introduce myself. My name is Bowie as in David Bowie, that charismatic gentleman, singer and entertainer and I'm sure to be just as big a hit... and win you over too with my kind and easy going manner. I'm a 52lb big ole lug that is ready to do the 'Magic Dance' when I get my fur-ever home! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping you will consider making ME a part of yours!! I don't need any of that 'Fame', just lots of love. I'm around 2 years of age which puts me at a pawsome age that is out of the puppy destructive stage but still energetic enough to tag along on ALL your adventures. Anything from 'Dancing in the Streets' to hiking those nature trails. I get along great with people but would probably do better in a home with other dogs more my size. I do live with cats in my foster home so I should do OK with them. I was pulled from a local shelter where I was found pretty skinny and malnourished. I have since put some meat on my bones but I can resource guard my food bowl and would do best fed separately. I am house trained already which lets us get right to all that fun stuff...right away!! If you're looking for a ball of fur to keep a smile on your face with my singing and dancing abilities, look no further... I'm your man!! I am soooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness on my new family so if you think I could be a perfect fit for you and your lifestyle please stop scrolling. All you need to do is fill out my adoption application and I will do the rest! You can find it at haydudeequine.org

Story
ECHO is a young Siberian Husky, and is loaded with good looks and charm! He does 'sing' a bit like the rest of his breed, but if you love this breed you'll enjoy his conversations with you. With the Husky breed's love of running, exercise, and stimulation, ECHO would be best placed in an active home that is willing to exercise his body and his mind. He does great with dog pals, and loves to have company running all about, playing, walking, and exploring. Ay approx. 1-2 years in age, ECHO is a social and outgoing guy, doesn't a stranger, and wants to bring his eternal great hair day into your heart and home. He's a Gorgeous boy.... inside and out. Make a time to come and visit ECHO in our shelter. Look for all of the people swooning. He'll be close by! Echo is a courtesy post. Please contact the BROOKE COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER by calling: 304-394-0800 for more information about ECHO.May 28, 2025, 4:57 pm

Story
Top of the mornin' to ya! It's me Mullen, the most pleasant lad you'll ever meet! You don't hear about many Irish Siberian Huskies now do ya? But, here I am! With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations. However, I am very smart and learn quickly!! Some basic information about Mullen; he is male, Siberian Husky mix, and expected to be medium-sized (20-59lbs). Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
