Herra is a 2 Year old Spayed Siberian Husky with lots of love and energy. She is potty trained and Gets along well with our 2 Red heelers and our small mixed breed dog. her previous owners said they couldn’t keep her and we didnt want her to end up in a shelter, how ever we simply dont have the extra time, space, or patience that she needs for a loving home right now. we can bring her to you and the adoption fee were asking for is $150, to ensure shes going to a home who can finically support her and to help recoup some of the cost of caring for her and items for her.we have a slow feeder collar, leash, harness and kennel with no bottom for her as she chews it up when anxious, (has not chewed anything else) that we can give you with her.If interested Please contact me through text or leave a voice mail or through here

Story
Beautiful 4 year old girl I rescued from a shelter. She was 20 lbs and had severe heartworms. But now she is a beautiful, healthy and heartworm free QUEEN!!I have vet records and did her DNA test. I love her so much but she cannot get along with my much older (12 y/o) Beagle/terrier. She loves my young Corgi boy and young doodle girl but seems to want to eliminate my old, weak girl. 😒If I’m unable to find her a new home very soon, I’ll have to return her to the shelter and she will likely be put down shortly after. 😭

Story
Meet Foxy, a young, energetic male dog with a heart as big as his brain! This clever boy is always up for a game and loves to show off his athletic abilities. With an eager-to-please attitude and a playful spirit, Foxy is the perfect companion for an active family. He gets along swimmingly with other dogs, so he'd be an excellent addition to a home with an existing furry friend or two. With his witty charm and affectionate nature, Foxy is sure to bring endless joy and laughter to his new family. Could you be the one to give this amazing dog the loving home he deserves? If you are interested in him, please send an email to SCP! Applications can be found on our website at secondchancepets.org under the "Forms" tab. Please complete and return to us for review!  Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $210 (or $270 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard.  Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please send an email to scpdogworld@gmail.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco. If you just want to meet some great dogs looking for their forever home, please come visit with us on Saturday!April 18, 2026, 11:50 pm

Story
The name Ludo comes from latin word ludo which means "I play", and boy does Ludo love to play! It doesn't take much to make this gentle giant happy - he just needs you close and some tasty treats on hand. This boy is all smiles- all day -and every stranger he wants to make his friend! Ludo gets so happy sometimes he prances- and lives to give kisses. We are not sure what this beautiful boy is exactly - but he lives to please- and loves toys - but please stick around to play with him. He loves your company than any toy combined. We are not certain of his home life before he was found wandering in the city- however no one has to come to look for sweet Ludo - but he is working at responding to his new name and does his best to do his business outside. Ludo is all heart- and just wants to give you his!
