Story
Meet Trail Mix! 🐾💛 Trail Mix is a 7-month-old husky/lab mix who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. After coming in as a stray, it’s clear he hasn’t had much socialization, and new environments and people can feel overwhelming for him right now. He is a very shy and fearful puppy, often choosing to observe from a safe spot (like under a desk) while he takes everything in. When approached gently, he will allow handling, but he’s still building confidence and learning to trust. Despite his fear, he has shown no signs of aggression—just a quiet “freeze” response when he’s unsure. One bright spot? Trail Mix really perks up around other dogs. Having a confident canine companion could make a huge difference in helping him come out of his shell and learn how to “dog.” He’s also already shown good instincts with pottying outside. Trail Mix is looking for a patient, understanding home—one that will give him the time, space, and gentle guidance he needs to feel safe. A quieter household and a predictable routine will help him build confidence at his own pace. With love and patience, we believe this timid boy has so much potential to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion. 💛 If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and want to help a dog discover the good in the world, Trail Mix might be the one who needs you most. 🐶✨

Story
Meet TMeet Timothy 💛 Timothy has been patiently waiting for his second chance since November after being transferred in from another shelter—and he’s so ready to find a place to call home. He may be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a little time and you’ll discover just how special he is. Once he feels safe, Timothy is incredibly sweet, cuddly, and loyal. He loves being close to his people (he might even try to climb right into your lap!) and truly thrives on that connection. Timothy is a big fan of the simple joys in life—toys, tasty treats, and cozy snuggles. He especially enjoys enrichment activities like snuffle mats, chews, and puzzles, and his love of food makes it easy (and fun!) to continue building his confidence. The shelter environment has been overwhelming for him at times, so he’s looking for a home where he can settle in at his own pace. With a little patience and a calm approach, his gentle and affectionate personality really shines through. Timothy does well with other dogs and would just benefit from slow, proper introductions to help him feel comfortable and set him up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a soft, snuggly side, Timothy might just be your perfect match. 🐾💛 Interested in meeting me?
