Story
Sheba is a young female dog who is about 2 years old. She is an amazing dog who would be a great addition to your family! Sheba is playful and gets along well with other dogs, and is especially good with kids. She has been fully vetted, including having all her shots up to date, being microchipped and fully house-broken. Sheba is an intelligent and loving dog who has been well taken care of and deserves a great home. Her previous owner had to give her up because of a new baby in the house, but has nothing but good things to say about her. If you're looking for a wonderful dog to share your life with, Sheba is the one for you!

Story
Millie is a beautiful, high-energy Husky with a big personality and an affectionate side. She loves people and enjoys attention, but she does best as the only dog in the home, as she can be reactive toward other dogs. Millie has separation anxiety and will need a patient adopter who can help her continue working on confidence and routine. When left alone for long periods, she may get into things or have accidents, so a home where someone is around often or willing to crate-train and provide structure would be ideal. She is potty trained when someone is home, but may have accidents if anxious. Millie is not currently spayed and is not up to date on vaccinations, so her future adopter should be prepared to address that. Millie would thrive with an experienced dog owner who understands Husky behavior and is willing to provide consistency, exercise, and mental stimulation. Millie is looking for a calm, committed home where she can be the center of attention and feel secure.

Story
*** ONLY APPLY IF IN STATE WHERE IT’S COLDER, WILLING TO TRANSPORT MYSELF. *** I rescued him when he was 4 months old and immediately found out he had parvo. He spent about a month and a half in the vet hospital fighting off the parvo and was able to pull though. He isnt your typical husky. Dax doesnt howl and is incredibly friendly with everyone and all dogs. We have another smaller dog and two cats that he gets along with extremely well and has been living with for 3 years now. Looking to rehome because, after holding off for so long, he would clearly be happier in a colder climate. He gets too overweight in the summer because the Texas heat is too much for him to be running around in and I dont want to give him a heat stroke. He gets out occasionally to the dog park, but because of our busy life and having a toddler, Daxter doesn’t get as much attention. He’s very chill so we can’t even play fetch or anything in the house. Just want him to be as happy as he can.

Story
To say that Hanna adores human attention would be an understatement. This fluffy pup immediately mellows out whenever she receives affection from anyone – be it strangers, children, or the elderly. But don't be fooled by her antics. The moment it's time to return to her kennel, she unleashes the husky's trademark howl, serenading the shelter with her rendition of the "shelter dog blues." Her vocal prowess echoes throughout the center, leaving no doubt about her desire for companionship. In 2020, Hanna found her home through OHAR, where she lived alongside another dog and children. However, due to unforeseen hardships, her family faced tough decisions and returned her to OHAR. This turn of events has left Hanna heartbroken, yet she remains resilient, determined to find her fairy tale ending once again. Could you be the one to offer Hanna the love and stability she so deserves?Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule.
