Story
Rosie was adopted at Fort Worth North Animal Care and Adoption Campus at 4.5 months old. She is now about 8 months old and is a ball of energy. She's a husky mix and about 55lbs. She loves belly rubs and she loves walks and fetch. She is basic command trained with sit, stay, leave it, and crate. We just cannot find the time between work to give her the love and energy she needs. She is up to date on all vaccines and comes with a lot of toys, crate with cover, vest, leash, and collar. We want only the best of caretakers for her. She loves to play fetch with balls, sticks, etc. She can be great for a family seeking a high energy sweet bundle of joy.

Story
This is Ruger. He is a family-friendly, baby-friendly German Shepherd/Husky mix with an energetic, outdoorsy, goofy and incredibly lovable personality. He will love you unconditionally and quickly become your best friend. We have had Ruger since he was a little pup. It absolutely breaks my heart to rehome him because he is truly one of the best dogs I’ve ever had. Ruger loves to cuddle, occasionally gives kisses (he’s not much of a kisser), and absolutely loves playing fetch. He enjoys being outdoors and will chill out with you on the couch on lazy days. He has always stayed close by our side, even without a leash. Gets along well with other dogs and is positively curious about cats. No bite history. Due to our busy schedules and an upcoming move, we’re no longer able to give Ruger the time, attention, and life he truly deserves. This decision has not been easy. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, protector, adventure buddy, and all-around loving dog, Ruger is the perfect fit.

Story

She loves people, loves the water, enjoys playing with other dogs with proper introductions and generally believes that life should include a healthy amount of fun. She’s crate trained, potty trained, spayed and already knows how to be a very good house guest — the kind who’s happy to join whatever adventure the day has planned.Wiley is active, affectionate, and always ready to be part of the action. She gets along with kids, but prefers older children. Whether that’s playing in the yard, hanging out with dog friends, or just being your loyal sidekick, she’s all in. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup who’s ready to bring some extra joy (and maybe a few zoomies) into your life, Wiley might be your girl. Story
Meet Milo!Milo is a 45 pound, 7 year old Husky mix who will immediately steal your heart. He came to us from a shelter, where he was dropped off by his previous owner for developing glaucoma, which ultimately led to blindness. Milo’s disability doesn’t slow him down one bit! Most who come into contact with him don’t even notice he can’t see until it’s told to them. Calm-natured and gentle-mannered, this sweet boy makes friends easily with all humans. Milo is very well behaved, hardly ever barking and never engages in destructive behaviors. Milo will do just about anything for a good treat, and is very smart, making him easy to teach new tricks. He’ll be your loyal pal forever if given his favorites - peanut butter or beef marrow bones! Milo is low-energy, but does love to play with his human every now and again. Long walks and learning new tricks are among some of his favorite activities. Milo would do well in both a house or apartment building, as he is low-energy and rarely barks. He does love to spend time outdoors, so a fenced yard or balcony is a plus! Milo loves to be around his people, and enjoys all the snuggles he can get! However, Milo does just fine being left alone if needed and will happily greet you when you return. Milo is crate and house trained, and has not had an accident since being in our care. Though he is crate trained, his foster does not often crate him as he is calm and not destructive. Milo would need slow and proper introductions to other dogs in the home. He would need a friend who is low-medium energy and is patient with him, given his disability, which sometimes leads to him bumping into others/objects.Milo’s glaucoma requires daily eyedrops, which are necessary to prevent pain and disease progression. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
