Story
~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Meet Arctic Blue — a breathtaking one-year-old Pomsky with a snowy white coat and the most striking ice-blue eyes you’ve ever seen. At about 15 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-small size for someone wanting a “big dog look” in a little package. Arctic Blue can be fearful at first meeting new people. He needs a day or two to observe, process, and decide you’re safe — but once he does, he truly warms up and bonds beautifully. Patience is key with this boy, and he will reward you with loyalty and sweetness. He does have a bite history related to a traumatic grooming experience in his past. However, with calm handling and trust-building, he allowed me to groom him without issue. This tells us so much about his ability to overcome fear when he feels safe and respected. The good stuff (and there’s a lot of it!): Knows SIT and DOWN Walks beautifully on a leash Loves playing with other young dogs Respectful and appropriate with senior dogs Appears mostly house-trained Uses the doggie door like a pro Generally quiet, but will “use his voice” if he wants something to change He will bark initially if crated and wants out, but settles after a bit and will sleep quietly through the night. Arctic Blue would thrive in a home that understands he needs a gentle introduction to new situations. A confident canine companion could be a big plus for him. Because of his history, we will be looking for an adopter who is patient, experienced, and willing to continue building his confidence in a positive, fear-free way. Due to his bite history, he will not be adopted to families with children. If you’re looking for a stunning, intelligent, playful companion — and you have the heart to give a sensitive dog the understanding he deserves — Arctic Blue may just be your perfect match. -- Where did he come from: Sadly he was surrendered to a rural shelter in Arkansas after biting his owners during a traumatic grooming incident. Adoption: ***** $1,000.00 ***** Weight: 14 lbs. Approximate age: 12/21/2024 ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application -- Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. --   ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.-------- June 26, 2026, 9:21 pm

~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: Drax is diabetic and requires insulin shots twice daily.  He does have some vision loss. Temperament: Drax is super sweet and gets along well with other dogs.  He loves meeting new people.  He is very smart and takes his insulin and eye drops like a pro.  Drax loves to lay out in the sunshine, but only if his family is nearby.  He does not take lightly to being left outside.  He is a quiet boy who rarely barks unless he's trying to "talk" to you as is common in Huskies.  Drax will make an excellent companion for anyone who is looking for someone to simply hang out with or go for a walk.  He does well in a crate for car rides. Where did he come from:  Surrendered to our rescue. Adoption: ***** $300.00 ***** Weight: 24.4 lbs. Story
Hi, I’m Sasha, a very sweet senior (7-8 years old) I’m a Husky with the sweetest soul and a wonderfully calm personality. I love meeting new people—honestly, I love everyone—and I make friends wherever I go. I’m gentle, easygoing, and happy just being by your side. I also happen to take great pictures (camera-ready at all times ), so if you’re looking for a best friend who’s as photogenic as she is loving, I might be your girl. I’m ready to give all my love to a forever family—could that be you? Hi, I’m Winter &#226&#157&#132&#239&#184&#143 I’m 1 year old, weigh 55 lbs, and I might just be the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. I’m very friendly and love people—I have such a gentle, loving heart. I’m amazing on a leash and walk calmly right by your side, making every walk easy and enjoyable. I did have a home once, but sadly my owner never came back for me. Even so, I still believe in love and am ready to give my whole heart to a new family. I’m spayed and up to date on all my shots, so I’m all set to start my next chapter with you. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, easygoing companion, I’d love to meet you and show you just how special I am. &#226&#157&#132&#239&#184&#143   For more information or to adopt, foster, or foster-to-adopt this pet, please contact Rowlett Animal Services  972-412-6219 or   AnimalServices@Rowlett.com.March 9, 2026, 3:15 pm

Unfortunately we are looking to give Houston a new home. He’s an amazing puppy we just have to move for personal reasons and we know it would be best if he found a forever home! He’s 12 weeks with all his shots except rabies. He’s truly a beautiful boy and I know he will be loved. Please reach out!
