Chloe is a wonderful husky-lab mix who, contrary to the usual energy levels of her breed, thrives in a calm and relaxed household. Ideally, I envision her being the only pet in a peaceful environment where someone spends most of their time at home and is looking for a serene companion. Chloe is a sweetheart who loves being petted and will gently paw at you for attention. Although she loves to go on walks, she's not a puller when on a lead and is easy to handle. Despite her age, she acts much older and would be happiest in a household with older children and no energetic pets, where she wouldn't have to compete for affection. While she is currently in a home with several animals and gets along without issues, she would prefer not to have to share attention, as she tends to be reserved in seeking it. She deserves to be a star on her own. She was found a stray in March 2022 and has been with me ever since. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, potty trained, and house trained.

Unlike many of our other intakes, Phineas was transported directly to the ER, not the rescue, after being found on the side of the road, unable to move. Fortunately, that day marked the beginning of a life-changing journey. Phineas was diagnosed with multiple fractures, most likely caused by being hit by a car, and he underwent surgery to begin his road to recovery. While that might sound scary, Phineas doesn’t let it show. He was up and walking in no time, full of spirit. Phineas is a stunning husky mix with big, pointy ears and beautiful blue and brown eyes. True to his husky roots, he loves to talk, and he’ll howl to let you know he’s there! And despite everything he’s been through, Phineas adores attention and pets. While he still has some healing to do, Phineas has already shown incredible progress. Meet Sky, a 7-year-old Husky mix with a calm, gentle spirit and a heart full of love. She’s affectionate, loves cuddles, and enjoys playtime—especially if squeaky toys are involved (she prefers to keep those all to herself!). Sky gets along well with other dogs after a slow introduction and tends to be a bit submissive. She’s even-tempered, house-trained, and kennel-trained, though she’d rather nap on a comfy dog bed than stay crated for long. Rescued while pregnant, Sky gave birth to six puppies just two days later and proved to be an incredible, nurturing mom. Now that her pups have all found homes, she’s ready for her own forever family. She’s formed a strong bond with her humans and would love a home where she can be part of daily life. Sky can be picky about her kibble, is vocal (true to her Husky side), and shows only mild curiosity about small animals.
