River is a beautiful "smallish" Husky, 3 years old and about 45 pounds. She has the perfect mix of Husky charm without the chaos—very well-mannered, calm, and wonderfully social. River absolutely lives for playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine buddy or regular playdates. She’s the kind of dog who’s happy to join in the fun but just as content relaxing by your side. A truly special girl with an easygoing nature and a playful heart. 🐾✨FOSTER TO ADOPT ONLYTo meet me, please fill out an adoption application on https://www.hartrescue.com/adoption-process

Story
Po & Laka – Bonded 9-Year-Old Husky Brothers Looking for a Loving Home Together This is an incredibly difficult decision, but I am trying to do what is best for these boys. Po and Laka are healthy, neutered, purebred Siberian Husky brothers who have been together their entire lives. They are current on vaccinations and have lived with young children, other dogs, and cats. I am a single father of two young daughters and recently accepted a job that requires significant travel throughout the year. As difficult as this decision is, I know these boys deserve a home where they can receive the time, attention, and companionship they deserve every day. They are wonderful dogs with loving personalities and have been part of our family for 9 years. Keeping them together is extremely important to me, as they are very bonded. I am not looking to surrender them to a shelter. I am looking for a stable, loving home with someone experienced with Huskies who understands the commitment involved.

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Queen Arianna!   With her head held high comes the crowned Queen Arianna! It takes a strong pup to carry such a regal name, and Arianna truly claims the title. She was rescued with eight puppies, lovingly named the “Tangled Litter,” and despite having so many little ones to care for, she ruled motherhood with grace. Queen Arianna is the cutest ash-and-white husky, complete with perfectly pointy ears. In foster, she learned the best doggy-manners to keep a clean environment. She loves to wander around and is curious about the world around her. As with all Monarchs, Arianna has made it clear she must rule solo, having no interest in her kind whatsoever. Sadly, she also views cats as sport-hunting material. She enjoys being by your side and receiving pets. She deeply appreciates a nice stroll on a leash, and is a wonderful quiet gentle soul with every human she's met. True to her nobility, Arianna isn't your run-of-the-mill Husky; she's actually a fairly reserved young lady, and rare are her bursts of boisterousness! Gentle and kind, Queen Arianna has cared for her puppies and is now eager to preside over the perfect person(or a loving family!) Could that be you? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
Amora: •Husky/Pit Bull/Border Collie mix •2 years old •60lbs •Spayed female •Good on the leash •Crate and potty trained •Dog and kid friendly Amora is an affectionate, loyal, cuddly 2 year old Husky/Pit Bull mix who loves chilling with her people, playing around the yard, and going on adventures to new places! She is a total people pleaser and is always looking to you for direction and comfort! Amora weighs a hefty 60lbs, but don't let that number scare you; she is the definition of a gentle giant. Amora was picked up as a stray and brought to our local high kill shelter where she found herself on the euthanasia list for space. Amora came in with an uncomfortable, bulky, ugly red studded collar on, so we know she was owned at one point, but not very well loved unfortunately. Despite her rough start, Amora remains the sweetest, most loyal girl ever and she is surprisingly not wary of strangers. At the shelter, the volunteers fell in love with her gentle demeanor and sweet disposition so they rallied to get this girl off the list and into a rescue, as they do with so many others as well! We saw Amora's plea and decided we had to step in and come to her rescue, and the rest is history! Amora has been the absolute best dog since the first day we brought her home. Most dogs are nervous for at least the first 24 hours, but as soon as she got out of the car and into the yard Amora showed us just how beautifully loving she really is. She bonds with people so quickly and just wants to be your best friend and right hand girl! Amora is incredibly loyal and will attach herself to you right off the bat. As previously mentioned, she is not wary of strangers and loves to make new friends, but don't mistake that for her lacking intuition! If she senses a potential threat or feels unsure about something in the distance, she will be on alert and right at your side to protect you. Aside from the occasional moments like those, Amora is a carefree and goofy girl! In addition to getting along with all kinds of humans, Amora also loves to hang out with other dogs, play with and make new doggy friends! She plays very well with others and enjoys the company of other dogs, so we think she would love to have a canine companion in her new home. If she doesn't end up having a doggy sibling, though, she will be perfectly content with having her person/people all to herself! Amora is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Story
Milo is a handsome senior boy with captivating blue eyes and the perfect mix of independence and intelligence. He enjoys doing his own thing but never turns down attention from the people he trusts. With his calm nature and smart personality, he quickly settles into routines and appreciates a peaceful environment where he can relax and enjoy life at his own pace.Milo recently had the opportunity to spend time in a volunteer's home, and the report could not have been better. She described him as an absolute dream dog both inside the house and out in the yard. He was quiet, obedient, and respectful of the other dogs, never bothering or intimidating them. He comes when called and showed just how easily he can fit into a home environment. He may be a senior, but he still has plenty of love to give and wisdom to share. Whether he's lounging nearby, exploring the yard, or quietly keeping an eye on everything around him, Milo is happiest simply being part of a loving home. Senior dogs have a special way of connecting with people, and this sweet boy deserves a family who will cherish him.Est. DOB: 1/1/1750 lbs.AAR does not transport for adoption.

Story
Taz has grown into a mature, easygoing guy who still has just the right amount of playful spirit. Once known for his nonstop zoomies, this handsome boy has mellowed out over time. Don’t worry! he’s still got his goofy side and loves to show it off when the mood strikes! He’s easy to leash up (even if he can’t help a few happy hops of excitement), and he walks nicely with just a bit of pulling. In the play yard, Taz is content to explore on his own, sniffing around and taking in all the sights and smells. He enjoys toys - the squeaky ones in particular grab his attention - and he’ll focus on them really well, even if he doesn't always want to play with them. Taz isn’t overly focused on treats, but he’s a big fan of gentle pets and calm affection. He’ll lean into you and loves the one-on-one attention. Getting dressed up? No problem - he’ll stand perfectly still and let you fuss with a bow tie like the good boy he is. After a year of waiting, Taz has really grown into himself. He’s still got that spark of fun that makes him so lovable, but he’s also learned how to slow down and enjoy the moment. If you’re looking for a sweet, handsome companion with a playful heart and a calm side, Taz is ready to meet you.

Story
Hunter is a 75 lb "lap dog" who hasn't quite realized she’s a big girl yet. At nearly 7 years old, she is the perfect blend of a chill homebody and a spirited protector. Her favorite activities include sunbathing, soaking up all the affection she can get, and making sure everyone knows she’s the princess of the house. While Hunter is a laid-back girl, she still has plenty of spunk! She enjoys a good play-session and has lived successfully with male dogs in the past. She would likely do best as the only furry female "royalty" in the home. Hunter is a devoted guardian who is fiercely loyal to her family and would be the perfect addition to a couple looking for a sweet, soulful companion to complete their home. She’s been a faithful friend through thick and thin, and she’s now looking for a forever home where she can spend her golden years being pampered and loved.
