Meet Orca! 🖤🤍🐾 Don’t let that adorable little beard fool you—Orca may look like a distinguished old man, but he’s still just a 7-month-old puppy! 😍 Orca is a 30-pound neutered pup from El Paso who arrived at the shelter when he was only 3 months old. That means he has spent almost his entire puppyhood in a kennel instead of experiencing all the fun things a puppy should—playing, exploring, learning, and growing up with a family. Orca is ready for a change of scenery and, more importantly, a family of his own. He has so much life ahead of him and deserves the chance to finally experience what it’s like to be loved in a home. After 150+ days in the shelter, this little “old man” is hoping someone will look past his beard and see the playful puppy underneath. 🥹❤️ Orca is ready to trade his kennel for a couch and start the life he’s been waiting for! 🐾

Story
This is Takeet, my long time best friend. My name is Makenna and it's with gut wrenching news that I can no longer care for a large dog if any kind, especially a hyper active one such as mine. I have been diagnosed terminally I'll and the conditions are really starting to affect my bone density so my love bug pup laying on me is no longer safe. About: Takeet is a Siberian Husky and nothing else. I got him at the age of 16 weeks from a small town couple who did not realize their dog had gotten pregnant with the neighbor dog. As a baby Takeet was very dark colored but has obviously matured into a lighter black/grey scheme. Takeet is not like the average husky.. he does not like water at all and to get him to walk outside when it's raining he wants to wear a raincoat. Takeet does not like the snow but enjoys watching it fall from the sky under a cozy blanket. Takeet is the only dog I've ever met that needs a toy to sleep with... I think I coddled him too much. He is a lover boy.

Meet Narwhal! 🖤🤍🐾 Narwhal is a 7-month-old, 30-pound neutered pup from El Paso who has spent almost his entire puppyhood in a shelter. He arrived with his brother, Orca, and while these two have had plenty of fun together, Narwhal is more than ready to experience life outside of a kennel and find a family of his own! This sweet boy is social, playful, and full of puppy energy. He absolutely loves playing with dogs of all sizes and does a great job listening when another dog lets him know he’s getting a little too excited. He’s still learning how to read all those important doggy cues, so continued socialization and positive guidance will help him grow into an awesome canine companion. Narwhal is just a baby who deserves to spend his next chapter playing, learning, exploring, and being loved in a home of his own. After 150+ days in the shelter, he’s ready to leave kennel life behind! ❤️ If you’re looking for a fun-loving, goofy puppy who would love a canine friend and a family to grow up with, Narwhal could be your guy! 🐶

Story
Fiona is a super lovable dog and she loves everyone around her. She’s primarily an outside dog and likes being outside more than inside. When she’s inside , she does a good job and likes to think she’s a lap dog, but really she’s just a big ball of fluff. She is a digger though and an escape artist so she’ll do best with a fenced yard. She doesn’t like her nails being cut at all, so they are quite long but she might let you do them for a KONG with frozen cheese. She doesn’t have allergies but she doesn’t like peanut butter. She does pretty good on walks, she’ll pull for a little bit after a bit she’ll stop. I’m willing to let her be adopted without the fee, i just want her to have a good home.

Story
Meet Pepper – Chow Chow Looking for a New HomePepper is a 2-year-old Chow Chow who is looking for a new home due to a change in our family's circumstances. We adopted her before having children, and one of our children has developed an allergy to her.Pepper is potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. She knows basic commands including sit, down, kennel, and come. She does well with children of all ages.Pepper loves spending time outdoors and would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard. She would also do best as the only dog in the home. She can interact appropriately with other dogs in neutral locations but can be territorial with other dogs in her home.We care deeply about finding Pepper the right home and are asking a reasonable rehoming fee of $150 to help ensure serious inquiries.Located in Tacoma, WA.
