Story
Hi, my name is Hobart and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Jul 11, 2023. All my friends say that I`m pretty affectionate and if that means I like getting pets and having my paw held, that`s definitely true! When I`m not being a love-bug, I love going on casual walks where I can sniff the breeze and feel the sun on my fur. I can`t wait to add a lot of cuddle time to your routine!

Story
Sylas is an 11 month old Shepherd/Husky mix. He is a very playful and energetic dog that would be great for any family with a backyard. At the end of the day his favorite thing to do is cuddle up next to you for a good long nap. Sylas is great with other dogs and loves to run with other dogs at the dog park. We discovered that he likes to chase our cat and we were unable to prevent him from doing so. Sylas is crate trained as well as potty trained. We adopted Sylas from the Humane Society in Tacoma WA. Due to new career opportunities there is no longer anyone at home during the day to spend time with Sylas. He has to be kept in his crate when we are not home to prevent him from chasing the cat or chewing whatever he finds out of boredom. Sylas deserves a good loving home with lots of space to run and play and a family who is able to spend a lot of time with him.

Story
Kyber is a 5 month old Husky. He is sky around new people at first but once he opens up he is a very playful dog full of energy. He loves to run and play and gets the “zoomies” often. Kyber is a very vocal husky and will let you know when he’s excited or wants attention. He loves going to the dog park or going for walks on the local trails. Kyber is a certified ESA and does great in public places with lots of people. He is trained to sit and stay when told to do so in any setting. He is able to pick up on new commands with a bit of practice and loves to be rewarded with treats. Kyber would be great for a family who can spend lots of time with him and will take home wherever they go. Kyber will not let you know when he needs to use the bathroom. He will need to be let out every hour or have easy access to go out. We leave the door open during the day and he will let himself out when he needs to potty.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Mocha is a vibrant and spirited young husky mix who has spent her whole life outdoors on an orchard farm with her loving family, including her mom, dad, and two littermates. With her family needing to relocate, Mocha, along with her fur siblings, is now seeking her forever home. Personality: Mocha is the epitome of a friendly and social dog. She has always been surrounded by other dogs and people, making her well-adjusted to social environments. She's eager to join a new pack where she can share her boundless energy and love. However, Mocha is new to the concept of living indoors. She will need a patient family to guide her through the joys of home life, from learning to sleep in a cozy bed to enjoying couch cuddles. Ideal Home: Dog-Friendly: Mocha gets along great with other dogs, so a home with canine companions would be ideal, or at least one where she can have playdates. Active Lifestyle: Her Husky heritage means she loves to run, play, and explore. A family that enjoys outdoor activities would be perfect for her. Patient Teachers: Since indoor living is a new adventure for Mocha, her new family should be prepared to teach her about house rules, potty training, and more. Special Needs: Adjustment Time: Mocha will need some time to adapt from farm life to home life. Gentle guidance and lots of positive reinforcement will help her learn. Exercise: She requires plenty of physical activity to keep her happy and healthy. Foster Update: Mocha is currently in a foster home where she's starting to get accustomed to the indoor life. Her foster family reports that she's eager to learn and very loving, showing great potential to adapt well to her new life. Adoption Information: Mocha is eager to find her forever pack where she can continue to grow, learn, and love. If you think you can provide Mocha with the home she deserves, please reach out to learn more about adopting this delightful dog!
