Story
Miss Jamie here is a work in progress. She came to us after a wonderful human brought her to our attention out in Toutle, WA. She had been running at large with 2 other huskies, one which was caught several weeks before, and the third hasn't been seen in weeks. We sent a trap up to the property owner and she trapped that night. She has been here ever since. Jamie loves cheese and loves cheese. Did I mention how much she loves cheese?!🤣 Will bark at you for cheese. 🤣 She is so gentle taking treats! But her being so treat motivated has helped us to gain her trust. She is quite vocal. Solid with other dogs and loves to play with other dogs! She loves balls and can entertain herself with balls but she is definitely more confident when another dog is around. She'll need another dog in a home to help her learn how to dog and be more comfortable around humans. Our Volunteers say, "She follows me around more often now in the big park, will lick my hand. But she's still pretty wary of human touch. I love when she gets vocal as she sounds sassy, and I feel like I can have a conversation with her!🤣 She still needs a lot of work to trust humans but I have hope for her. I love her beautiful, blue eyes." She is stunningly beautiful, gentle, and did we say she loves other dogs! She is still wary of humans. She is highly trainable and is responding well to positive reinforcement training. She LOVES playing in water. She will require a home with a 6' fenced yard. She will require a drag line after adoption for a while, even with a fenced yard. She does like to play keep away on occasion. But if she likes you, she comes when she is called. She will be a wonderful addition to a family with another dog. Story
Lucy is a pure Siberian husky, with a smaller frame. She loves car rides, and going for walks. The most important thing is that Lucy goes to a loving home; She is 5 years old, and in perfect health, both of her eyes are crystal blue .. she is not a very big eater. She is trained to go outside, and great with kids, but she does get a little protective of her toys and treats so keep an eye out if you have real little ones. She isn’t “fixed” so she can have babies, but I hate to think of her going through that kind of pain😢. But at the end of the day, it will be your dog. Im in a desperate situation, I need to leave from an abusive ex who found out where I live, and unfortunately I can bring Lucy with me. I am looking for someone to pick her up within the next few days. The sooner the better! Pls contact me any time.

Story
Mako is an 8 year old Husky/Chow mix. He was part of a litter of 6 other dogs. He grew up in a household with other dogs and cats. Mako enjoys a fenced yard to play in and also enjoys relaxing in the living room on the floor, on a dog bed, or even a small sofa that he is allowed to get on. He loves treats! Who doesn't? He likes lounging around the house, very low maintenance. He does enjoy being pet! Mako prefers going on night walks when there aren't other dogs nearby. He also enjoys his personal time right next to you! Mako is excited to meet his new companion for life!

Story
Cheese is a sweet boy who loves to explore outdoors and see new sights, but when he’s tired he’s always down for cuddles. He loves to eat snacks and does not have any interest in toys. He was gotten as a rescue so I am unsure of his experiences as a puppy but he does not get along with cats. He prefers his own personal space when it comes to dogs and doesn’t like them in his face. He has met kids but hasn’t lived with any. He is pretty talkative when he has something to say but he will nap quietly for hours. I am unsure of his actual age but I think he is getting older and doesn’t have as much energy as he once did. Also as he is getting older he does have an occasional accident.
