Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! 🐾Meet Atlas! 🐾 Introducing Atlas, an adorable Husky mix. Although his breed is just a guess, what's undeniable is his need for a loving home. He comes from a region with high rates of puppy euthanasia, and adopting him means saving not only his life but also making room for another rescue. Atlas's life is full of joy and puppy antics—playing, cuddling, and taking plenty of naps, with his motto being: Eat, sleep, play, repeat! He embodies sweetness and curiosity, always eager to explore and snuggle. As Atlas is still very young, he will need a dedicated family to guide him through the essential stages of puppy development. This includes continuing his potty and crate training and providing daily exercise to keep him healthy and happy. A commitment to crate training is essential for his integration into his forever home. You're signing up for a future filled with affection and adventure by choosing Atlas. He's destined to be an excellent companion for hikes, neighborhood strolls, or cozy days at home. Get ready for endless kisses and a loyal friend who will always be by your side! Story
Like a pair of Levi’s, he looks good on everyone and is a real good fit. He is long-legged and modelesque, adoring and will absolutely stick by your side. This sweet boy was adopted as a puppy and lived a few wonderful years as a family dog. But to no-fault of his own, his families life changed and we get to help him find another loving home and hearts to call his own. Levi is almost three years old, weighs 86 lbs and a DNA test showed he is a Husky/Anatolian mix. https://youtu.be/2gX51V9jbd0 Thanks to the fact that he has been a family man before, Levi is house trained, crate trained, great on leash, and has great house manners. Levi has lived with female dogs and did great with them. He is definitely a ladies man! My favorite thing about watching him play is just how bouncy he is! Those long legs give him a gazelle like way when he is playing and he pulls the funnest move when he hops right over someone while they play, I’m convinced dogs think he is a magician the way the look around for him after he high jumps. Take a look at him in action and come back to learn more about the sweet boy. As far as house mate, Levi is looking for a female house companion. He has been fostered with a large dominant female and he respected her and was very respectful of her corrections. As far as human house mates, Levi is loyal and respectful towards his owner and any member of the household, he loves his family! He has lived with a toddler since he was a newborn baby. Anatolians are known for their guarding and herding tendencies and Levi is no exception to this, he wants to meet every new person that comes into the home and make sure that they are a friend. Levi would love a home with a yard, those long legs want room to explore and play. For house-mates, he will fit right in with any variety of pets, kids, etc. Levi has a wonderful understanding of his body and keeps his movements around people very calm despite how his play style looks. This family man is great with kids and will make a wonderful friend. Thanks to his wonderful leash manners, Levi will be a wonderful walking buddy or hiking companion. With you at the end of his leash he will be your confident companion and log the miles with a smile. If you are looking for a wonderful dog, pre-loaded with the complete starter pack of good-boy qualities, Levi is your man! If you want our team to explore Levi’s nature in any other environments or circumstances, let us know, we can absolutely make it happen! If you have questions about Levi or the adoption process email Please email: kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Everest MAY steal your heart and never bring it back! No, seriously, she’s a huge lover! Everest is a soft and fluffy three year-old husky mix weighing a modest 50lbs. Though with rescue we can’t guarantee any dog’s breed, age or eventual size. One of my favorite things about her is the way she turns the charm on with her bright pretty golden eyes! Fall in love with her here! Everest enjoys taking life slow and prefers playmates who share the same sentiment. In playgroups you’ll find her watching her friends play, even when they’re jumping and trotting around she prefers just sitting back and watching. She would love to find a home with a fellow introvert or to be the only dog in her home. If you know huskies very well, you know that they love to communicate. Everest is no exception and will howl to let you know when she needs to go or to share about her day. If you enjoy having communication in your life she does as well. She is crate trained and loves her personal “bedroom”. Everest needs a home without a cat as she showed too much interest during her cat test. Now, have a few kids in life? You found a pup who will love them endlessly. Everest met a toddler several times and had a blast! That may be due to the yummy chicken fingers she… tactfully acquired but, I digress! She was interrupted during snack time where a little one ran literally right in between her and the food, no reaction. That is seriously impressive! Leash walking is something that was easy for her to pick up. We walked her past a dog and practiced solo walking onsite. She has the most endearing little trot on leash beside you and throws her fluffy tail up happily. Everest would thrive in a home with a yard and plenty of human companionship. She is an all around gentle soul who would love a comfy place to land. She is crate and potty trained and does well here at Rustic! Though she may need a reminder when introduced to a new place and learns the proper areas. Adopt Everest today, she is ready to go home! We are willing to test Everest with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Lucy is one of the most calm dogs you will ever meet. She is 3 years old and 50 lbs. She is believed to be a German Shepard mix and most likely has reached her max growth. She can be shy and timid but will warm up to you real quick! She loves to cuddle and lay on top of your stomach when you’re trying to nap! While she is still learning basic commands and how to play with toys , she can respond to her name and is a fast learner! She has no problem being in a kennel and has mastered not whining and being accident free as well. She’s a lovable girl who loves to give hugs and have her tongue out when she is happy! Anywhere you go, she wants to be right by your side and loves to be near her human. At the moment, her favorite treat is peanut butter and always makes sure to lick the spoon clean. Lucy gets along great with the other dogs as she lives at Camp Bow Wow who has tons of dogs at daycare everyday. She doesn’t do as well with cats, but she’s very friendly to everything else. She loves her naps, sunbathing, and just being in her own little world. She isn’t a puppy anymore, but she is still eager to learn new commands and training to become the best girl! She needs a family who will love her silly personality and won’t give up training her just because she’s not a pup anymore. She would be a great addition to a first time pet owning family or one that already has dogs living with them. Story
Look closely and on top of his perfect Husky face, he has the cutest set of little ears you’ll ever see! This is Togo and he is such a lovely version of his perceived breed, which based on his appearance, we would say he is a husky mix. In rescue age and breed are not something we can guarantee but he is estimated to be two years old and embodies so many husky features. Although huskies can sometimes be considered aloof and detached, that is not the case for Togo. He is a loving, free-spirit, who gives gentle kisses, loves being on the couch, gets along well with other dogs, and is cat-tolerant! Gregarious, confident, and friendly-Togo is truly easy company! He would love a home with a yard for exploring and although we haven’t heard his husky-song, a little space is always encouraged with the Togo types. We introduced Togo to a handful of dogs, a variety of sizes and temperaments and is considered dog-friendly. His most natural connection was with a playful, easy-going, male. Togo could easily be a companion for your existing dog but his confident, independent nature would be perfectly suited for only-dog life. When introduced to our house-cat Tom he was uninterested, which we appreciate seeing. Togo did not display any signs of hyper-focus or attempt to chase the cat. We would consider Togo cat-tolerant and with slow introductions could easily live in a home with a feline-friend. From what we have observed Togo is both house and crate trained. Once he is home he will likely need an introduction to his home and encouragement when learning the appropriate potty places but Togo is a smart boy and will make you so proud! If you have any questions about Togo or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Story
Meet Archie!  Meet Archie, a lovable husky mix who, at just two years old, has already mastered the art of bringing joy and laughter to his humans. If he doesn't approve with a command, he likes to throw his head up like a diva, giving off an air of annoyance. But don't worry, he'll still listen attentively because he's such a well-behaved boy!  Archie's greatest joy is spending time with dogs, whether it's in his new home or at dog parks. He is incredibly skilled at handling other dogs, to where, even if another pup tries to provoke him, he calmly disengages and walks away.  Besides his love for belly rubs and snuggles, Archie enjoys playing fetch, swimming, going on adventures, and eagerly learning new tricks, especially when there's food involved.   Archie is crate trained, leash trained, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.   To apply for Archie, please submit the application below:     https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159 ##1820024##

Story
Koda is an absolute sweetheart of a dog. Of course, she's definitely a husky, one with enough energy to pull a sled ... or a truck! JK. But, seriously, if you are a runner with the patience to train this girl on a leash, you'll have a running partner for whatever distance you like to run ... around the block, through the park, 5K, 10K ... across the country - y'know, just run! Koda is also a love. She LOVES to be with her people, and has played really well with other huskies in short spells, and we're confident that, as her puppy enthusiasm settles down a little into maturity, she's going to do great. Mostly though, she's about her people. Pet her underneath the chin and she'll lean back on you and let you do that all day long. She can also settle down beside you and chill for a bit while you're working - as long as she can either see you, or even rest a chin on your foot. Of course, she finds couches very comfy, too. We'd really love to find this sweet girl a home with someone who understands the unique nature of a husky. If that's you, then please drop a line so she can chat with you - and maybe we'll get a word in edgewise, too! ##1898976##

Story
Kiwi is a stunning 4 year old Purebred Siberian Husky who loves to play! She is super sweet and HIGHLY energetic. Our family did dogsitting for over 10 years and out of 300+ dogs we had at our home, Kiwi is one of the top 5 sweetest dogs we've ever had. We're glad she is ours! We've had her since 2021 and have really enjoyed her — but we are moving to New York in September and we will not be able to take her to the city with us. It breaks our heart! Kiwi is an attentive listener who is absolutely great with kids. She would be fantastic as an emotional support animal. She is strong and athletic, and will instinctively protect her owner and their family. She is a working dog and requires a lot of time and attention. She needs someone who will walk her multiple times per day. We are looking for a great family who will have the patience to work with her. She's extremely loving and needs to go to a family who is just as loving. Adoption fee goes to helping us move our other dog lol

Story
When I adopted Ginger I was not working and she was a puppy. Ginger is now three and as a Husky/Shepherd mix she desires a lot of exercise and activity. She loves to go for walks, chase the ball, play and run around the yard. Ginger is a sweet girl who is good with kids and other dogs. My grandchildren have been around Ginger since they were tiny and she is very gentle with them. Ginger has gone through a basic training course and did well, but would benefit from consistent direction. She does well on a leash and is responsive to basic commands ( heal, sit, down, etc). She is smart and wants to please. Ginger would do well with an active owner who can provide the needed attention and exercise. She will be a loyal companion. Reports from the boarding "hotel" relate that she loves playing with the other dogs and is a joy to have around. Ginger is fully vaccinated, chipped and well cared for.

Story
Introducing Laura! This gorgeous husky/Great Pyrenees mix is a delightful young pup that is an absolute joy to be around. With a smile that will melt your heart, Laura is a lover of snuggles, and she will be your loyal sidekick through all of life's adventures. Born around December 2021, Laura is a sweet and happy girl who effortlessly charms everyone she meets. She's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs, young kids, and even cats! Whether it's romping around with her furry friends or curling up for a cozy snuggle session, Laura is always up for some quality time. Despite her husky heritage, Laura's energy levels are surprisingly moderate. A 45-minute walk or leisurely "sniffari" suits her just fine, allowing her to explore the world one scent at a time. She's a playful companion, enjoying games with toys, bones, and even her canine pal, a sprightly 12-year-old golden retriever. When it comes to communication, Laura may "talk" like a husky on occasion, but she's far from being a loud or excessive barker. Laura's most notable feature? Her luxuriously soft coat, which earns compliments from everyone she encounters. But beyond her outer beauty lies a heart of gold. She's a lover girl through and through, craving affection and showering her family with endless love in return.  If you're seeking a furry companion who thrives on love and companionship, look no further than Laura. She's ready to become the cherished member of a family that adores her affectionate nature and embraces her as the oversized lap dog she truly is. Malakai is a very well behaved dog, he is very friendly with people. He doesn’t do well with other male dogs. He also doesn’t do well around toddlers. He loves to play with squeaky toys and chew treats. He is a very independent dog that loves to be around the people he loves. He is very calm and laidback and doesn’t cause much commotion. He does have his both back legs ACL torn so he does have trouble walking for long periods of times. He’s gotten better with going up the stairs and running around a little bit more. He does take joint supplements. He is really the best dog ever and I just want to find a home that can care for him more than I currently can.

Thumper is a sweet boy with a funny personality in need of a new home! He is a very calm dog who likes to sleep most of the day but he will be so happy to see you when you come home. He would be perfect in a home with a fenced yard to run around in and/or regular walks. Thumper is very well potty trained and is very treat motivated. He enjoys a walk but he will let you know when he’s had enough. Chow chows are not very high energy and enjoy a chill environment. He will just hang out with you most of the day. Very low maintenance and ideal in a home with no small animals. In the process of rehoming Thumper and his sister Bambi. Ideally they would be rehomed together but not necessary. They are very independent dogs and would happy together or separate. Please contact if you would like further details :)
