Nira here is a thoughtful heart and chase queen! Nira is so fortunate and is waiting for her adoption day living in a loving foster home. Her foster shared Nira is both house and crate trained and has been a fun addition to her crew of dogs and kids. Basically, she kinda slid right in and has been playing and snuggling ever since. This girl is wonderfully dog-oriented and truly shines when she has canine companionship. Her confidence noticeably grows when another dog is present, and she relaxes into herself much more easily. She enjoys play that involves chasing and movement, and even though we cannot say with a guarantee what her breed is we see her herding instincts come out when a good round of chase gets going. She also gets a little vocal when she is playing but it is all in good fun. She would do wonderful paired with a medium-energy, goofy dog who can keep things fun. As much as she loves playing with a doggie friend- she is more than happy to entertain herself with a toy. Stuffies are a fave but she has yet to meet a toys she didnt enjoy. With people, Nira needs time and calm introductions. Her foster shared that new environments and unfamiliar faces can seem to overwhelm her at first, so she’ll do best in a quieter home that understands the value of slow trust-building and a little patience. Once she bonds, she seeks affection, jumps up to ask for love, and happily engages with her people. Treats are a big motivator for her and go a long way in helping her feel comfortable and confident so stock up! Nira would thrive in a home with a yard, another dog in the home, and adopters who are patient, consistent, and respectful of her need for space early on. Meet Adalynn Eloise… but her friends call her Addie! Have you ever met a dog whose smile could completely brighten your day? That’s Addie. At around 2 years old and a perfectly compact 55 pounds, we think this gorgeous girl is a Husky/Pit Bull mix. She’s the perfect adventure size—not too big, not too small—and somehow manages to be both athletic and an expert cuddle bug. Addie has the sweetest little fox-like face, a beautiful caramel-colored coat with a bright white blaze down her nose, giant “satellite” ears that always seem to be tuned into the next exciting thing, and the happiest brown eyes you’ve ever seen. Seriously… her grin is absolutely contagious. She’s one of those dogs who always looks thrilled to see you because she truly is. If happiness had four legs, it would probably look a lot like Addie. We have had Blue since he was a puppy and he's a typical husky. He's very expressive, and talkative, he will let you know when he is sad or happy. He's very athletic and has quite the jumping ability. He won't escape though. He fully understands boundaries and will stay in the yard even when the fence is open. He's very cuddly, which could be bad since he is a full grown dog. He is a happy boy and is leash trained, he is a little scared of strangers while he's on the leash, he only barks and has never shown aggression towards a human. The reason why we are rehoming him is because we have four dogs, and blue is a reactive dog. If he feels threatened he will unfortunately fight the other dog. He needs to go to a home with no other dogs present. He has had to spend more time in his crate than what we think is fair to any dog. So ideally, putting him in a home where he is more free is what we are looking for. Feel free to ask questions.

From the moment you meet him, Midnight’s charm is impossible to resist. He’s got that big, easy grin, a tail that never stops wagging, and a “hi, I love you already” kind of energy that makes you instantly fall head over heels. At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress! We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog. Badger was supposed to quietly die at the shelter. He was listed as an 8-year-old husky mix and when he first arrived here, I honestly thought he was even older and possibly a hospice case. He was stiff, skinny, frozen in fear, and barely moved. But once I put him with younger dogs, something changed. Little by little, Badger started acting young again. He started following the other dogs around, exploring the property, splashing in the pond, and rediscovering happiness. Now he feels like an entirely different dog. I do not know his exact age, but I genuinely believe he is younger than the shelter estimated and he clearly still has a lot of life left in him. Badger now weighs around 60 lbs and is an awesome dog to live with. He walks well on leash, is extremely food motivated, and loves being part of daily life. He is also incredibly good with other dogs and especially gentle with puppies. He lets them climb all over him and will even let them steal his food without reacting. He did eventually figure out how to climb out of the 6-foot chain link kennel, because husky. But unlike a typical husky, he has absolutely no desire to run off or disappear. He mostly stays near the kennel area, follows me on walks, or goes down to the pond for a quick dip before coming back. I honestly don’t even put him up when I leave because he simply doesn’t go anywhere. Badger does great with other dogs overall, though because of his size and goofy personality, he would probably do best with dogs that are confident and not easily intimidated. He is fine with my tiny Chihuahuas because they are bossy and fearless, but very nervous little dogs may get overwhelmed by him simply because he does not fully understand how big he is. Good fit: someone looking for a loyal, goofy, easygoing companion who still has plenty of life and adventure left in him without the nonstop chaos of a young husky. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back.
