Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Hi there, I'm Lobo, a magnificent husky with a heart as big as my fluffy coat. I may not be able to see, but that doesn't stop me from being the happiest dog ever. I can always find a place to snuggle up in. I'm currently residing in Houston, TX with my foster mom and I'm on a quest to find my furever home. I'm an 7 year old gentleman who had an owner but sadly they could no longer care for me. I was loved and that's why I'm so loving. I'm the best boy, and I'm ready to bring joy and warmth to a family that will appreciate my gentle nature. Lack of eyesight hasn't dampened my spirit, I'm still a big fan of hugs and lap time, walks and all the regular dog stuff. Give me some toys, especially my favorite ball, and Ill be your loyal companion. I'm looking for a patient, understanding & loving family who can help me feel safe and secure. Ideally, I love to be my people's center of attention. I appreciate a calm environment. 🐾Meet Apollo! 🐾 Introducing Apollo, a delightful puppy, potentially a Husky/Shepherd mix. As with all rescues, his exact breed is not certain. What is certain is his irresistibility and the urgent need for a loving home. Apollo is among the most desperate for adoption in the US, where, unfortunately, many puppies face euthanasia. At a young age, Apollo is all about having fun. He loves playing with his siblings, napping, and repeating the cycle. His days are filled with the typical joyous puppy antics: eat, sleep, and play! Given his critical development stage, Apollo needs a family committed to his training and socialization. His new family will need to continue with his potty and crate training and provide plenty of daily exercise. We require adoptive families to commit to crate training to prepare him for a successful future. Adopting Apollo means welcoming a fountain of affection and joy into your life. As he grows, he will be an excellent companion for outdoor adventures or casual strolls in your neighborhood. The adoption fee is $800.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
Meet Archie!   Archie is a two year old husky mix who loves to make his humans laugh! If he doesn't approve with a command, he likes to throw his head up like a diva to show you he's annoyed. But don't worry he'll still listen because he's a good boy!   Archie's favorite thing in the world is to play with dogs, in his new home or dog parks. He is so great with other dogs, that even if another pup tries to start something, he makes like a possum and eventually just walks away.   Archie also loves to play fetch, go swimming, go exploring, learn new tricks (very food motivated), and get belly rubs and snuggles from his humans.   Archie is crate trained, leash trained, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered.   To apply for Archie, please submit the application below:     https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159 ##1820024##

Story
Kiwi is a 3 year old Siberian Husky who loves to play! She is super sweet and HIGHLY energetic. We've had her since 2021 and have really enjoyed her, but we already have another dog and will be downsizing soon. She's great with kids and EXTREMELY affectionate — but as with all huskies, she requires a lot of time and attention. We are looking for a great family who will have the patience to work with her. She's extremely loving and needs to go to a family who is just as loving.

Koda is an absolute sweetheart of a dog. Of course, she's definitely a husky, one with enough energy to pull a sled ... or a truck! JK. But, seriously, if you are a runner with the patience to train this girl on a leash, you'll have a running partner for whatever distance you like to run ... around the block, through the park, 5K, 10K ... across the country - y'know, just run! Koda is also a love. She LOVES to be with her people, and has played really well with other huskies in short spells, and we're confident that, as her puppy enthusiasm settles down a little into maturity, she's going to do great. Mostly though, she's about her people. Pet her underneath the chin and she'll lean back on you and let you do that all day long. She can also settle down beside you and chill for a bit while you're working - as long as she can either see you, or even rest a chin on your foot. Of course, she finds couches very comfy, too. We'd really love to find this sweet girl a home with someone who understands the unique nature of a husky. If that's you, then please drop a line so she can chat with you - and maybe we'll get a word in edgewise, too! ##1898976##

Story
Introducing Laura! This gorgeous husky/Great Pyrenees mix is a delightful young pup that is an absolute joy to be around. With a smile that will melt your heart, Laura is a lover of snuggles, and she will be your loyal sidekick through all of life's adventures. Born around December 2021, Laura is a sweet and happy girl who effortlessly charms everyone she meets. She's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs, young kids, and even cats! Whether it's romping around with her furry friends or curling up for a cozy snuggle session, Laura is always up for some quality time. Despite her husky heritage, Laura's energy levels are surprisingly moderate. A 45-minute walk or leisurely "sniffari" suits her just fine, allowing her to explore the world one scent at a time. She's a playful companion, enjoying games with toys, bones, and even her canine pal, a sprightly 12-year-old golden retriever. When it comes to communication, Laura may "talk" like a husky on occasion, but she's far from being a loud or excessive barker. Laura's most notable feature? Her luxuriously soft coat, which earns compliments from everyone she encounters. But beyond her outer beauty lies a heart of gold. She's a lover girl through and through, craving affection and showering her family with endless love in return.  If you're seeking a furry companion who thrives on love and companionship, look no further than Laura. She's ready to become the cherished member of a family that adores her affectionate nature and embraces her as the oversized lap dog she truly is. Story
Clifford. is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Clifford was dumped on the side of a rural road with a litter of puppies. They were rescued by good Samaritans. Clifford is a super wonderful dog. He is very sweet, gentle, and good-natured. He is super sensitive and scared of mean voices, rough treatment, and dogs that are mean to him. He needs to be treated gently so he will trust you. Once he trusts you or another dog, he is very playful and loves playing. He especially loves puppies and gentle children. Clifford has shown an interest in cats, so he may not be good with them. Clifford is mostly Chow. He weighs around 60 pounds and we estimate he may be around 2 years old. Clifford is crate-trained, knows how to sit, and walks well on a leash. He rides well in a vehicle but is a bit nervous about getting inside the vehicle. Clifford is fabulous with nice children. He is shy with new people (especially men) and takes some time to trust. We are sure he was abused by whoever had him before. Clifford does need work with housetraining (sure he has never been in a house before) and could probably use other gentle obedience training. We want Clifford to be in the house as a loved member of the family. He needs to be walked on a leash and would like a securely fenced yard to run and play. Clifford is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Clifford has been treated for heartworms and they are now dead. He is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Clifford's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Vancouver WA. Clifford is being fostered in Texas and cannot be transported until after he is adopted.
