Story
Hi, I am a VERY sweet, middle-ageish, young man. I have just arrived at my foster home and I am already playing with my foster family, Joy & Andrew. I also roll over (and over and over and over) for tummy rubs. As foster mom says, tummy rubs are THE bestest. I was an owner surrender in CA before coming here so I have been through ALOT of changes, but I am coping well. At this point, I am not highly interested in toys and just want to be cuddled / close to my people.

This is Bri! A 2-year-old Jack Russell terrier with a zest for life and a mind to match. She's as quick to learn new tricks as she is to make new friends. Get ready for endless games of fetch, exciting walks, and snuggles on the couch (after all that playtime, of course!).

Story
Skeeter is calm, trustworthy, and affectionate. He does not play much with dogs or humans, but loves a good snuggle session. Skeeter is very well-behaved, already has some basic training, food motivated, and ready to please. He is house trained, likes his kennel, and does well when left alone. He enjoys walks and is great on a leash. He does prefer a peaceful living environment, and would do well with other calm dogs that take cues well. He has not been exposed to children, but he would do well with kids that don't expect a play partner, and understand his demeanor. He has not been tested with cats and has a little interest in small animals when out on walks. He is an all around great dog! Skeeter is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX test, and neuter. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel trained, and working on housebreaking. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Danica is a 1(ish) year old weighing about 10lbs.  We are guessing she is a Terrier/Poodle mix, but we cannot be sure since she came from a shelter where we don't know her history.   Danica is a goofy, wild little girl.  She loves to run around and say hi to everybody and everything.  She always has the biggest smile on her face and brings so much joy to every home.  She loves to play with other dogs and snuggle up with her foster during relaxing time.  She is a wonderful, sweet, outgoing little girl and would be such a wonderful addition to any household. If you are interested in adopting Danica, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2000805##

Story
Hi, my name is Charley Feeny and while I'm the happiest buddy now, before my Underdog days I had a pretty rough go of it. I used to have a loving mama, but one day she went away, and I found myself living with a person who did not like me very much. He was not feeding me or even letting me in from the cold. I wandered off and a nice lady found me. I showed her where I lived and she took me back, but the man said I was a stray and even though I barked and barked, he would not let me inside. The nice lady took me to a shelter. They said I was a hospice senior, and I that I was on the urgent rescue list. Fortunately, the staff really liked me, so they reached out to Underdogs, who sent a new mama to pick me up. My new foster home is so nice. There are other dogs to play with, I am allowed to curl up under the covers whenever I want to and there is lots of healthy food and treats to eat. She took me to the dog doc and she told her that I was neither neither a senior nor a hospice dog. I tried to tell everyone that, but apparently dog docs are more trustworthy. As it turns out, I am only about 6 years old and though not being fed regularly and neglected overall was hard on my kidneys, proper food and some medicine have been healing them nicely. I now weigh thirteen pounds and am looking perky and am the most handsome scruffy terrier and miniature poodle mix.  I love the fenced yard at my foster digs and I especially love going for walks in the morning. New foster mama put an open crate in the living room so I can go in there any time I need time to myself. I also like toys to play with. One weekend we had lots of company, including a 12-year-old girl and extra dogs. Mama said she was so proud of how I behaved.  She tells me that we are looking for my new forever family, someone that will take me for walks, feed me well, love me and help me feel secure again. She says that I will do best with adults and older children with dog experience. I love dog friends, but the kitties are not my most favorite.  If you're interested in adopting Charlie Feeny, please fill out an adoption application here: https://underdogsrescue.org/adopt-form/ Underdogs is a small volunteer-based animal rescue and we unfortunately do not have the resources to respond to phone and email inquires about our adoptable animals at this time. If you're interested in learning more or setting up a meeting with one of our animals, please complete an adoption application first. It may take up to two weeks for application review and one of our coordinators will reach out to you as soon as we are through the intitial review process. We appreciate your patience and understanding! Thank you!  ##2084570##
