Hello! I’m Max! I’m a sweet, playful boy looking for my new home. I’ve lived indoors my whole life and am fully house trained. I even ring a bell when I need to go outside! I’m crate trained when left alone, love car rides, and get very excited for walks (sometimes I pull because I’m so eager). I know lots of commands like sit, stay, lay down, sit pretty, fetch, and more I’m very treat-motivated and love learning. I’m a fun, affectionate dog with a puppy-like personality. I love fetch, swimming, chasing sprinklers, and cuddling. Balls are my favorite, and if you hold one too long, I’ll sit there wiggling with excitement. I enjoy stuffies (especially taking them apart) and have a bit of a sassy streak, but I adjust well once I’m comfortable.I can be nervous around strangers and may bark or growl at first, but I warm up with time. I’d do best in a home with children over 12 who understand dog boundaries. I’m shy and fearful with other dogs and would need a slow, in-shelter meet and greet. I’ve chased cats before, so a cat-free home is best. I’m nervous but well-behaved at the vet. With patience, love, and understanding, I’ll be a loyal, playful companion. I can’t wait to meet you and show you what a good boy I am!

Once you meet him, he’s instantly your best friend. Tunker is proudly kennel-trained, plays well with other dogs, and firmly believes everyone exists to be part of his fan club. He’s been accident-free so far (a fact he considers proof of his excellent responsibility), and when playtime winds down, he’s all about maximum-level snuggling. Tunker will happily curl up beside you and act as though he’s always lived there. He’s also mastered the art of being adorable while doing absolutely nothing—a true professional. If you’re looking for a funny, sweet sidekick with great manners, Tunker is ready for the job. Tunker is a 1.5-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Tunker is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). Maggie is 3-4 year old Terrier/Chihuahua/Poodle mix weighing about 15lbs. Maggie came to us over a year ago from a hoarding case where there were over 60 Chihuahua/Poodle mixes living in a small home in Denver. They were all incredibly under socialized and neglected, with most of the females being pregnant. We were able to take in 5 of the pregnant moms from Maxfund to help get them into a safe and comfortable place to give birth and raise their puppies. We also took about 8 other dogs from the hoarding case to start them socializing and learning how to "dog". Maggie is now the last dog from the hoarding case and needs her forever family. Maggie has clearly been through a lot and still has a long way to come. She is a sweet girl but still pretty timid around humans. She will come and snuggle with her foster Momma on her terms but it did take an incredibly long time for that to happen. Maggie really needs a human who can be patient with her and give her a forever home with lots of love knowing she came from an incredibly rough situation and will probaly never be a completely "normal" dog. Her fosters describe her as more of a cat-dog. We know she could make more progress with some training as well. We will require she goes to a home with another dog so she can continue to learn how to trust and be a dog. Posie is a 1 year old, 13lb Terrier mix. Posie was surrendered to an overcrowded shelter in Texas. The shelter reached out to us for help because they were over capacity and desperate to move dogs before having to make tough decisions. We knew Posie could find a great home here in CO! Posie has been here in CO with one of our wonderful foster families and is ready to find her forever family. She gets along great with cats, dogs, kids, and all humans. Posie is a submissive, playful little girl who wants nothing more in the world than to love and be loved. She loves to wiggle her little butt and will roll over on her back when she gets attention to get all the belly rubs. She loves to romp around and still has that fun puppy energy. Posie has the cutest little underbite and everybody that meets her just falls in love with her immediately.
