Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Gracie is the most perfect little girl, and we are so confused how she has not been adopted yet! (She has been with our rescue for just over 1 month). At around 3 or 4 years old and 16 lbs, Gracie is the "best dog ever", according to her foster mom. She's fun and active, but at the same time she is a well-intentioned girl who wants to give the best of herself. She is believed to be a Jack Russell / Chihuahua mix. Gracie is great with people, other dogs, and has become best friends with her fosters two puppies. She has wonderful house manners, and is fully potty trained. Gracie's foster mom had the following to say about this special girl: "Gracie is sooo sweet! I know from what Farfel's has told me that she was in a home her whole life, and you can tell that she has had a home before. She is much easier than your typical foster that is new to living in a home! She is so friendly and also potty trained. She has an adorable underbite and stands on her hind legs when excited. It's adorable! She is good with my dogs too." Gracie was surrendered to a high-kill shelter after being with her family since she was a puppy. The reason they gave was that buying her dog food and keeping her up to date on vaccines was too expensive, and they "just don't have the time for her anyway". We have no words for this harsh, cruel act. We'd like Gracie to find her forever home with either dog-crazy retirees who desire a fuzzy best friend in their lives or a younger family that works from a home-based office. Gracie would be overjoyed with time-spent and accompanying her family everywhere a super-smart, engaging and well-behaved little dog is welcome. Gracie has been vaccinated, vetted and spayed to be in line with our commitment to adopting out healthy dogs that won't contribute to the canine overpopulation challenge. Gracie is currently with a foster in Boulder. If interested in this very cuddly, super-sweet and loving best friend, please fill out our application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Gracie please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com.

Story
** If you are interested in adopting Archie please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** There's nothing cuter than a wiggly, scruffy dog! Archie was found as a stray in Houston, TX and brought into a small, high-kill shelter. At the shelter he had the best attitude, and despite being their most social, friendly, and happy dog, because he was there for more than 5 days he found himself next in line to be euthanized. Farfel's Rescue received a plea email with his goofy, happy face and notes that read "this is the sweetest boy I've ever met. Someone please save him!" and we knew that we had to help. Archie is only 8 months old, and believed to be a Jack Russell / Beagle mix. Of course his breed mix is an educated guess. Archie is 19 lbs, and shouldn't get to be more than 22 lbs full grown. Since Archie is still just a young guy, he's a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show him the way. Farfel's Rescue feels very strongly that every dog deserves the opportunity for formal, positive reinforcement/force-free training. We therefore aren't willing to adopt out to a home that doesn't choose to offer this training opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement/force-free virtual and in-person trainers in your area. Archie is up to date on his vetting and vaccines. He is not yet neutered, although Farfel's Rescue covers the full cost of his neuter, which is required to finalize any adoption. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year. If you are interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ .

Story
Chip is a 2.5MO Terrier/Chihuahua Mix weighing all of 3lbs.  We are guessing he will be around 10lbs when full grown as both his mom and dad were around 10lbs.  Chip and his 4 siblings were surrendered to us because they were part of an accidental litter and the owner did not want to take responsibility for them.  We took them under the condition both mom and dad would get fixed so this doesn't happen again! Chip and his siblings are as cute as can be.  Itty bitty little babies, their pictures don't do them justice for how tiny they are.  Chip and his siblings are the typical wonderful puppies. They love to romp around and rough house with each other, explore the house and yard, and cause chaos during play time.  Once they crash though, they crash hard and want nothing more than to snuggle and be around each other and humans.  They will follow their fosters around the house, trying to keep up as they walk around, following like a little train from behind.  They are so happy and social. If you are interested in adopting Chip or one of his siblings, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com **these siblings are not big enough to get fixed yet, so there will be an extra 100% refundable spay/neuter deposit to ensure they get fixed at 6 months old.  We will also cover their spay/neuter through our vets.  ##1829579##
