Story
Meet Sylvester, a youthful spirit residing in a shelter, radiating an aura of shy charm. His timid demeanor is quickly overshadowed by his playful, energetic nature. He loves a good game of fetch, his tail wagging with excitement at the sight of a tennis ball. He`s the first to greet the morning sun, eager for a day of fun and exploration. Sylvester`s zest for life is contagious, spreading joy to everyone around him. His shyness, far from a drawback, adds a unique layer to his personality. His bashful glances and playful antics make him an irresistible companion. Sylvester`s playful energy is a reminder of the simple joys in life. Adopt Sylvester and bring home not just a pet, but a companion, a playmate, and a bundle of joy. With Sylvester, every day is an adventure, a chance to play, to laugh, to live life to the fullest.

Story
Luna is such a sweetie! She can feel a bit overwhelmed at times, so she will appreciate an adopter that can support her and be her cheerleader when times get tough. Luna has enjoyed the company of another dog in a previous home and may do well with a canine friend in her next home as well! At this time, HSBV will only rehome Luna to a family without children or with children over the age of 10.Luna would love to go home with her brother, Friar Tuck! They are a 2 for 1 adoption but this is not necessary to adopt Luna.

Story
Maggie is 3-4 year old Terrier/Chihuahua/Poodle mix weighing about 15lbs.  Maggie came to us over a year ago from a hoarding case where there were over 60 Chihuahua/Poodle mixes living in a small home in Denver.  They were all incredibly under socialized and neglected, with most of the females being pregnant.  We were able to take in 5 of the pregnant moms from Maxfund to help get them into a safe and comfortable place to give birth and raise their puppies.  We also took about 8 other dogs from the hoarding case to start them socializing and learning how to "dog".  Maggie is now the last dog from the hoarding case and needs her forever family.  Maggie has clearly been through a lot and still has a long way to come.  She is a sweet girl but still pretty timid around humans.  She will come and snuggle with her foster Momma on her terms but it did take an incredibly long time for that to happen.  Maggie really needs a human who can be patient with her and give her a forever home with lots of love knowing she came from an incredibly rough situation and will probaly never be a completely "normal" dog. Her fosters describe her as more of a cat-dog.  We know she could make more progress with some training as well.  We will require she goes to a home with another dog so she can continue to learn how to trust and be a dog. Story
Sterling is a 1(ish) year old Terrier Mix weighing about 10lbs.  Sterling found himself at an overcrowded, high kill shelter in Texas.  The shelter reached out to us because Sterling had such an amazing personality they were really wanting him to have a second shot at a great life.  We knew Sterling could find a wonderful home here in CO so we brought him here to find his perfect family, and to escape euthanasia.   Sterling is the most wonderful little dog.  He gets along great with all dogs big and small, all humans big and small, and even cats.  He loves to play with other dogs and will try to get the cats to play.  When they don't he respectfully leaves them alone.  He still has a good amount of happy puppy energy thats contagious and makes every human around him laugh.  He is such a snuggle bug and is a pretty great dog for all activities (active and lazy).  He would be totally okay for easy going TV days, but would also be perfect for an active human who wants a small dog to take on hiking/walking/outing adventures.  He would do great in a home with another dog but it's not a must as long as he gets enough mental and physical stimulation from his humans. Story
Sissy is a young aduly (between 1 and 2) Terrier mix weighing about 14lbs.  Sissy came to us after being dumped at an overcrowded shelter in TX.  Her future at the shelter was uncertain so the shelter reached out to us for help opening up some space and saving a few lives.  Sissy has now been in CO a couple weeks and is ready to find her forever family.  Sissy's foster Momma says she gets along great with other dogs, kids, and cats.  She seems to be on the younger side with some puppy energy still, but she is also totally okay chillin' during the day and hanging out with the dogs.  Sissy is an incredibly sweet little girl with tons of love to give, she just desperately wants someone to share all her love with.  She would do great in a home with another dog but would also be okay as an only dog as long as she gets tons of snuggles, belly rubs, and love. If you interested in adopting Sissy, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2393255##
