**NOT IN OUR CARE - CONTACT OWNER AT 714-247-9426** Jan 31, 23    SWEET little Milo is still a puppy and has quite a story, he was rescued from the Korean dog meat trade by a New York Dog Rescue group when he was a tiny puppy and adopted by a kind person who has loved him for 6 months until her mother has had a health crisis. Milo's owner has made the heartbreaking decision to re-home this perfect little guy due to financial and time hardship required to care for her mother. Here's what we know about Milo: Neutered, current on vaccines, house trained, crate trained, only weighs 20 pounds, very healthy and has been on heartworm and flea preventatives. Milo is good with other dogs, curious about cats, and good with kids. He's shy with strangers but warms up quickly and has an overall sweet temperment. He's generally calm but gets "zoomies" as any young pup would. LOVES to play fetch! Knows basic commands as well as some cute ones. Here's what his owner says about him: "Milo was originally rescued from a Korean meat market, so he is a bit skittish towards humans at first, but once he warms up to you, he is a ray of sunshine and loves to smile. He is super patient, calm, and smart - he would work really well with another dog, old people, or a family with a kid. He lights up when he sees tennis balls and that's when you'll see him thrive the most. Every time we go to the dog park, he has a new fetch buddy and pretends he doesn't know me! His love language is nudging the ball towards you to play fetch with him. He can be active when he wants to be by going on hikes with you or knowing when to mind his business when you're busy. Angels at AWFA rescued me in the nick of time and I am ready to find my forever family! I am such a good girl - A loving, beautiful, sweet blonde bombshell who loves everyone I meet.  I'm good with some other dogs but would love to be an only dog to get all of the attention.  I like kids but would probably do best in an adult home.  I am house trained! Meet Rocky! He’s a sweet 8.5 year old Korean Jindo mix who loves attention. He loves to cuddle and be with his people. He’s smart and food motivated to learn new things. His current foster puts him a sit/stay while he places his food down and then releases him to eat, which he does very well. He’s also potty trained. When you talk to him he'll give you this funny look like he’s trying to understand. He is ok around other dogs, until he gets impatient with them. This is very common for Jindos. He would do best in a house without other animals. His healthy recently took a turn and he can only use his back legs 5% of the time. He has seen a primary Vet, a Chiro, an internist and an Neuro and they’re not sure of the cause. He is still very cognitive and fully aware of everything around him, his back legs just do not want to cooperate. He has a wheel chair which he is learning to use. He’s hoping his forever home is out there to help him navigate his remaining years. He can’t wait to find his forever home.   Meet Rocky!
