Story
My grandfather recently passed and Sasha was his dog. My family and I are unable to keep her due to having our own pets and our living situations. Sasha does okay with other dogs as long as they allow her to be the alpha. She would do best in a home as the only dog. She is okay with cats but tends to want to chase them. She has never been in a dog fight or attacked a cat though. For children she is great and very gentle. She's house trained as long as she has access to a back yard or is taken out regularly. She has a sweet and loving personality.

Story
**About Creek:** Creek is an international rescue all the way from South Korean. While "international adoption" might sound like a major undertaking, we have years of experience streamlining this process to make it as smooth as possible. We’ll be right by your side to explain every step! The Journey Home Once your application is approved, the final step of Creek’s journey begins. Adopters are responsible for picking him up directly from a major international airport. Common arrival hubs include: West Coast: SFO, SEA, LAX. East Coast & Central: JFK, IAH Personality He is active and full of energy! He loves playing with other dogs as well as playing fetch with people. He likes to fetch balls. Experience with children : He hasn’t spent much time around children, but he seems like he would do totally fine with them. Experience with cats : He hasn’t shown much interest in cats so far. Behavior in cars : Since he is still a baby, he travels in a crate. He has been riding in cars since he was 2 months old, so he is very used to it! Potty training : He does both indoor and outdoor potty. In the morning, he goes in the yard, and during evening walks, he does his business outside as well. Indoors, he uses potty pads. He is gradually starting to save his poop for outdoors, and his indoor pee frequency is decreasing too. As is typical for Jindos, once he passes around 6 months old, he’ll likely settle into a routine of going just morning and evening outdoors. Behavior when left alone : He has never been left completely by himself, but since he is still a young puppy, he might whine a little at first. Resource guarding : He waits politely for his turn to get treats. He loves treats very much! He’s not picky with his food at all and eats very well. (Currently, we feed him a mix of various kibbles.) He has no known allergies. Leash and walk experience : He is currently in leash training and is doing really well! We are also practicing recall off-leash (in safe areas). Even when he’s running around happily, he comes right away when called and heads right back into the house nicely. ( A good foundation of trust must be built before letting Creek off-leash outside) APPLY HERE https://lifeofhopefoundation.org/adoption-application/

**About Breek:** Breek is an international rescue all the way from South Korean. While "international adoption" might sound like a major undertaking, we have years of experience streamlining this process to make it as smooth as possible. We’ll be right by your side to explain every step! The Journey Home Once your application is approved, the final step of Breek’s journey begins. Adopters are responsible for picking him up directly from a major international airport. Common arrival hubs include: West Coast: SFO, SEA, LAX. East Coast & Central: JFK, IAH Personality Breek is a happy, gentle, and affectionate little boy with a surprisingly calm personality for his age! He absolutely loves people and enjoys being close to them. He’s very affectionate and tends to rely on his humans for comfort and attention. He gets along very well with other dogs, although he can be a little timid around larger dogs and may bark at first when meeting them. Overall, he’s a sweet, easygoing puppy who loves both people and his furry friends. Good with Children? Breek hasn’t spent much time around children, but he has been calm and friendly when meeting them. His foster believes he would likely do well with children, although he hasn’t had much experience living or spending extended time with them. Good with Cats? Yes! Breek currently lives with a cat in his foster home and gets along well with cats. Car Rides Breek is already very comfortable with car rides! He’s been riding in cars since he was about 2 months old, so he’s quite used to them. Whether he’s traveling in a crate or sitting in the back seat, he stays calm and relaxed throughout the ride. Potty Training Breek is doing wonderfully with potty training! He currently uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty areas. He usually goes potty in the yard in the morning and during his evening walks. Indoors, he has a 100% success rate with pee pads, and he already does most of his pooping outside. As he’s growing, his potty frequency is gradually decreasing. His foster expects he may naturally transition to mostly outdoor potty breaks as he gets older, although this will depend on his routine and training. Separation Anxiety Breek hasn’t been left completely alone yet, as he currently lives with several other dogs. Since he’s still a young puppy and loves being around people, he may whine a little when adjusting to a new home or learning to spend time alone. He’ll need some patience and gradual alone-time training as he settles in. Food & Resource Guarding Breek absolutely loves food and treats! He’s very patient and waits nicely for his turn when treats are being handed out. He’s also a slow eater, so other dogs sometimes manage to steal his food, but he doesn’t react aggressively or start fights. He’s not a picky eater at all! His foster feeds him a mix of different types of kibble, and he happily eats everything. He has no known food allergies so far. No resource-guarding behavior has been observed. Leash Walking & Recall Breek has only recently started learning to walk on a leash, but he’s already making great progress! He’s also practicing recall in a safe, controlled off-leash environment. Even when he’s happily running around, he comes right back when called and willingly returns indoors. He’s a smart little puppy who seems eager to learn! Training & Commands Breek currently understands: Sit No He’s still very young, so his training is ongoing. APPLY HERE https://lifeofhopefoundation.org/adoption-application/
