Story

China is a 5 year old, ~30lb. Korean Jindo mix. Previously rescued from the shelter by our grandmother who unfortunately passed away, she now needs a new forever home. Her breed is a very territorial and protective one - China is not fond of other dogs or animals, so she needs to be the only pet in the home. As for humans, she is very sweet and loving, great on the leash, loves to run and play, is energetic, and listens to commands. She is a natural huntress, loves to fetch, and would be great on hikes. She is house trained, spayed, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. We hope someone is able to provide her with the love and care that our grandma once gave her.

All A Home 4 Ever Rescue dogs receive a wellness exam by our veterinarian and are up to date with vaccinations. They are spayed or neutered and microchipped before they go to their adoptive families. 03/13/24 16:02 Dog was very nervous during impound, did not want to walk on a leash. Go slow.03/27/24 15:25 Dog is still scared in this environment. If you put your hand out for him to sniff, he will snarl and growl at you. Use caution.04/04/24 15:34 Dog doesn`t growl as easily as he did at first, but he still isn`t looking for affection. He is still a little stiff and silent when you approach. He is very quiet and reserved. 04/10/24 16:08 Brought her out to the conference rm, she is shy and timid. She is food motivated. She is very quiet and keeps to her self. She allowed all touch, she comes when called and was easy to walk on the leash 04/23/24 14:30 Took out for a walk. Did very well. Nice and sweet. Easy to leash and walks well. Minimal pulling. Accepted pets and scratches. Leaned against me when we were stopped. Nice girl.05/01/24 08:52 Took her out for new pictures. Easy to leash and walk. She was insistent on attention in the play yard. Wasn`t interested in toys but wanted lots of pets and scratches while she leaned against you. When walking by the other dogs, there were some she seemed to like and others raised her hackles but she did not react aggressive with any. Good, calm, well mannered lady.

Six out of Ten 15. Leash trained? Good 16. Crate trained? Good 17. House trained? Good 18. Does the dog bark? How much and when? Litte bark in foster home 19. Flight risk? No 20. Does the dog like to be touched? Any issues with touching anywhere specific on the dog’s body? Allow the whole body to be touched. 21. Destroys and chews anything in the house? NO 22. Possessive towards food or toys or etc. with humans and/or other dogs? NO 23. Any past or present health issues? She was hurt a lot when she was attacked by several dogs. But she didn't attack the other dogs at all. 24. Rescue story? A grandmother over 90 was taking care of all the local stray dogs in her yard. The grandmother was in such a poor situation and her chronic illness worsened that she could no longer take care of the dogs. We rescued all the dogs she was caring for and built a small shelter. Nancy is the brightest of the dogs. I liked everyone who approached her. We rescued her, hoping that she would meet her family for the rest of her life as a pretty princess.
