Note: Special Needs Dog due to Behavior/Shyness. Pepe is an adorable medium sized Scottish Aberdeen Terrier mix who was transferred from another rescue to Jelly's Place in March 2020, along with his sister. Pepe is extremely nervous and timid around people. He LOVES other dogs, and has become best friends with another Jelly's dog named Chee Yoo. Ideally the 2 will be adopted together. Pepe has a very similar personality to Chee Yoo and the two of them are like 2 peas in a pod. During his time at Jelly's Place, Pepe has gone from hiding in his dog house to taking daily walks on a leash. He is becoming more comfortable and confident, but still has a long way to go. He has learned to trust his primary caregiver, but is still not comfortable interacting with other people. Pepe would do best in calm, quiet home with dog experience and older or no children. Pepe is not a dog for first time adopters. He needs adopters who are willing to be patient and to give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable, confident and loved. Another dog in the home is essential. If you are interested in adopting Pepe, we recommend that you come and spend time with him on several occasions so that he becomes comfortable with you. Pepe is UTD on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Applications are being accepted and qualified applicants will be contacted.June 7, 2023, 4:31 am

Bona came to Jelly's Place from Korea. She is a sweet, active, eager to please dog. She is a gentle soul who likes other dogs, and is a little timid around new people and in new environments. Bona would do best with an active family with timid dog experience, Older children would probably be a better fit for Bona than young children. She would love to take long walks or have a yard where she can run around. Bona is already spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Joe is a truly wonderful companion. He was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea when he was just a few months old. Over the last 6 years he has been a wonderful companion but unfortunately I believe he needs a different situation than I am able to provide for him at this moment. Joe has some separation anxiety, which is why he comes to work with me every day, however, he is sometimes left alone with no issues and other times can have anxiety. My partner and I are also on the verge of having children and unfortunately Joe is just too risky for young children to be around consistently. He is a wonderful dog with so much personality but needs a backyard space and someone who will be around a lot. I’m devastated to lose him but I believe a new home will be positive for both he and I at this time. I’m committed to finding the right space for him so if you would like to have a trial period I am happy to oblige.
