Story
** Note: Ready to board her flight to San Francisco upon Adoption—currently in Korea. Background: Sirius was rescued from a city pound in Ansung last November—just days before his scheduled euthanasia. Since then, he’s been living safely at our boarding facility with other rescue dogs, waiting for his second chance at a happy life. Personality and Socialization: Sirius is a bright, affectionate boy with a medium energy. He bonds quickly with people and doesn’t take long to warm up to new faces. Friendly and social, he genuinely enjoys human company and loves being part of everyday life—especially when it includes a good walk or outdoor time. He's intelligent, eager to please, and responds well to gentle training. Sirius gets along well with most other dogs, particularly those who are gentle and enjoy playtime. He can be a bit avoidant with dogs who are too dominant or overly energetic. He hasn’t been tested with cats or young children. Behaviours: Sirius loves cuddles and spending time close to his people, but he’s also happy to quietly entertain himself with toys or relax nearby. He’s independent enough to stay calm when left alone for a while, making him an easy dog to care for. He prefers outdoor potty breaks but is also comfortable using pee pads indoors when needed. He travels well in the car, behaves nicely during vet visits, and is patient during bath time. Health and Diet: Sirius is in great health. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and receives monthly parasite prevention. He eats dry kibble twice daily and has had no issues with allergies or sensitivities. Ideal Home: Sirius would do best with someone who’s home most of the time—perhaps a retiree, remote worker, or anyone who enjoys having a dog as a constant companion. He would love a family who enjoys walks, nature, or even just lounging around together. A home with another friendly, well-mannered dog would be a great match, though Sirius would also be happy as a solo dog receiving lots of love and attention. If you’re looking for a sweet, clever, and loyal friend who’ll stay by your side through it all, Sirius could be your perfect match. Story
** Note: Ready to board her flight to San Francisco upon Adoption—currently in Korea. Background: Chowol was rescued from a city pound in Gwangju last October, just in time before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Since then, he’s been living safely at our boarding house with other dogs, waiting patiently for his forever family to find him. Personality and Socialization: Chowol is a smart and affectionate boy with a cheerful and loving personality. He’s friendly with strangers and warms up to new people very quickly. Chowol is quite social and enjoys being around people—he thrives on human companionship and loves going for walks together. He’s also a quick learner and responds well to guidance. When it comes to other dogs, he gets along well with most—especially those who are friendly and playful like him. However, he tends to avoid dogs who are overly hyper or dominant. Chowol hasn’t been tested with cats or young children. Behaviours: Chowol loves snuggling and being close to his people. He’s also happy entertaining himself with toys or relaxing quietly nearby. He prefers to do his business outside but will use pee pads indoors if needed. He’s well-mannered during car rides, bath time, and vet visits. Health and Diet: When Chowol was first rescued, he tested positive for heartworms. He has since completed his treatment and is now healthy and heartworm-free. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receives monthly parasite preventatives. Chowol eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies. Ideal Home: Chowol would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time—perhaps someone who works from home, is retired, or simply enjoys spending quality time with their dog. He would love to be part of a family that enjoys outdoor activities like walks or hikes. Another friendly and playful dog in the home would be a bonus, but not a must. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, playful and affectionate companion who will always be by your side, Chowol might be the one you’ve been waiting for. Story
Ready to board her flight to San Francisco upon Adoption—currently in Korea. Background: Lullu was rescued from a city pound in Milyang, Korea last fall. After spending a few months in a foster home, he moved to our boarding house, where he’s been living with other dogs while waiting for his forever family. Personality and Social Life: Lullu is a happy, affectionate boy who loves people—whether he’s meeting someone new or cuddling with someone he knows. He’s very social and gets along well with all kinds of dogs, big or small, young or old. He especially enjoys playing with friendly and playful pups. His energy level is just right—he loves to play but also knows how to relax. He’s calm, easygoing, and enjoys simply hanging out with others. Behaviour: Lullu is quiet and well-behaved indoors. He may bark once or twice when someone new enters the house, but he settles quickly. While he was recovering from heartworm treatment in his foster home, he showed no signs of separation anxiety and was very easy to care for. He prefers to do his business outside but will hold it if needed. He can get a bit carsick on long rides but does fine on shorter trips. Bath time and vet visits can make him a little nervous, but he stays calm, especially when someone he trusts is with him. He’s playful when it’s time to play and relaxed when it’s time to rest. Lullu isn’t needy or hyper—he’s just a lovely dog to have around. Health and Diet: When Lullu was rescued, he was treated for heartworms and anaplasmosis, and he also had surgery for cherry eye in his left eye. He has recovered fully and is now healthy and happy. Lullu is neutered, fully vaccinated, and takes monthly parasite prevention. He eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies. Ideal Home: Lullu would do best in a home where he’s not left alone for long—someone who works from home or has another friendly dog would be great. He’s an affectionate and friendly boy, good for first-time dog parents or anyone looking for a second dog. Lullu has so much love to give. He’ll make a wonderful, loyal addition to any home. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky. Story
story: Thank you for interested in adopting Buddy. Please know that Buddy is an international rescue. When your application is approved, you will need to pick him up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, ONT, IAH, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we've done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Buddy is not high in energy level and likes to take a slow walk, taking time to observe and sniff other things. When he was a puppy, he was small and weak and was bullied by his siblings. He gets nervous towards other dogs. He is not comfortable when the other dog tries to dominate and when the other dog has a young puppy energy so much that it can annoy others. However, once he becomes friendly with other dog, he gets along very well. He stayed in the shelter for a long time so he lacks socialization but he is gentle and careful once he decides to be a friend with the people and the dogs. Now, he is under socialization training. He has not met children yet but is generally calm and good with people. The foster believes buddy is calm and friendly with anyone and so can be with children. Buddy is nervous but stays calm in the crate. He behaves well when he is alone in home. He is under leash training. If he gets scared he just stops and refuses to move. When he gets scared during walks, he leans on the people next to him and depends on the person for protection. With something he has not eaten before, he doesn’t eat it right away. He rubs it on his body first. After he tries it one or two times, he doesn’t do it anymore. Lacking various experiences, he gets scared easily but is also good at overcoming them. If you’re interested in adopting Buddy, feel free to contact us for more info! Thank you.
