**Note: Ohoh is currently in Korea, but he will fly to San Francisco once adopted. Background Ohoh’s life hasn’t been easy. As a tiny puppy, he was found wandering in an apartment complex in Wanju, Korea. He was sent to a city pound, where he spent the next five years chained in a poor shelter with little comfort or care. This summer, Ohoh finally came to us and has been living at our boarding house, where he is safe and loved while waiting for his forever family. Personality & Socialization Ohoh is a gentle, sweet, and loyal boy with a calm, easygoing nature. He has medium energy, happy to go for walks and spend time with people, but also content to relax quietly by your side. He’s very friendly with people, both men and women, and loves being close to his humans. When it comes to other dogs, Ohoh gets along well with gentle, friendly, and well-mannered dogs. He does not do well with overly bossy, dominant, or hyper dogs. Behaviour Ohoh is well-behaved, obedient, and very smart. He bonds strongly with people and follows their lead easily. He rides calmly in the car, tolerates bath time, and is cooperative at the vet. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys outdoor potty breaks, and is quiet indoors. We’ve rarely heard him bark. With a little training, Ohoh will blossom into a wonderful lifelong companion. Health & Diet Ohoh is neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on his vaccines. He is dewormed and on monthly parasite prevention. When first rescued, he was treated for anaplasmosis, and he has since made a full recovery. He’s in good health and ready for his forever home. Ohoh eats dry kibble twice a day and has shown no allergies. Ideal Home Ohoh will thrive with a family looking for a calm, gentle, and loyal companion. He gets along well with other gentle, quiet, and well-mannered dogs, but he would be happiest as the only dog in a calm home. **Note: Currently, Hana is in Korea, but she will arrive in San Francisco once adopted. Background Hana and her sister, Beosun were rescued from a city pound in Milyang, Korea, this past summer. Since then, she has been living with other dogs at our partner boarding house, learning how to enjoy a safe and happy life. Personality and Socialization Hana has a medium energy level and a very affectionate, social personality. She does well with other dogs, both big and small, as long as they are friendly. With people, Hana is very sweet and loving. Even with strangers, she happily approaches them and asks for pets. She is very friendly, outgoing, and loves human attention. Behaviours Hana is gentle, sweet and listens well. She handles car rides, baths, grooming, and vet visits without much fuss. She loves going for walks with her people and walks nicely by their side. She loves being petted more than anything and likes to stay close to her human. Even though she loves people so much, she stays calm when left alone and has not shown signs of separation anxiety, which has been very impressive. She was never meant to be a guard dog as she naturally trusts and welcomes people, even strangers, and is very affectionate and sweet. She enjoys being around other dogs and likes to play with friendly dogs similar to her size. If another dog is too loud or overwhelming, she quietly removes herself and looks for a peaceful space. Story

story: Thank you for interested in adopting Buddy. Please know that Buddy is an international rescue. When your application is approved, you will need to pick him up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, ONT, IAH, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we've done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Buddy is not high in energy level and likes to take a slow walk, taking time to observe and sniff other things. When he was a puppy, he was small and weak and was bullied by his siblings. He gets nervous towards other dogs. He is not comfortable when the other dog tries to dominate and when the other dog has a young puppy energy so much that it can annoy others. However, once he becomes friendly with other dog, he gets along very well. He stayed in the shelter for a long time so he lacks socialization but he is gentle and careful once he decides to be a friend with the people and the dogs. Now, he is under socialization training. He has not met children yet but is generally calm and good with people. The foster believes buddy is calm and friendly with anyone and so can be with children. Buddy is nervous but stays calm in the crate. He behaves well when he is alone in home. He is under leash training. If he gets scared he just stops and refuses to move. When he gets scared during walks, he leans on the people next to him and depends on the person for protection. With something he has not eaten before, he doesn’t eat it right away. He rubs it on his body first. After he tries it one or two times, he doesn’t do it anymore. Lacking various experiences, he gets scared easily but is also good at overcoming them.
