However, there are other instances when a fence may be required for the safety of the dog or puppy Name: Allie Age: 3 years DOB: 8/10/23 Weight: 55 lbs. Crate-trained: Yes PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website greenmorerescue.org. Please read dog's bio carefully before applying. Meet Allie! Allie is a 3-year-old Labradoodle/Black Labrador Retriever mix with a big smile and an even bigger zest for life! This happy girl loves having fun and is always ready for her next adventure. Whether she’s playing in the yard, heading out for a walk, or splashing around in a creek, Allie brings plenty of enthusiasm wherever she goes. She absolutely loves the creek and is happiest when she gets to splash and explore! Because she gets so excited (life is just that fun!), Allie is working on channeling that excitement in more focused ways, like holding a toy while getting harnessed or heading out for walks. These simple redirections help her stay focused and set her up for success. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she'll continue to build those skills. One of Allie’s hidden talents? She is a total pro in the car! Once she hops in, she settles right down and lays quietly for the entire ride. For a girl who loves adventure, she sure knows how to be chill when it’s time to hit the road! Allie is both dog-friendly and kid-friendly! She would do best with children who understand that she's a playful dog who can get excited during playtime. Kids who are comfortable around an active dog and can respect her space when she needs it will make great companions for her. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with. A fenced yard is a must for Allie so she can safely run, play, explore, and enjoy all the fun life has to offer. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who enjoys adventures, loves the water, is an absolute superstar in the car, and will keep you smiling along the way, Allie might be your perfect match! Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. Another great reason to adopt form Greenmore.... Greenmore Rescue preforms the 4dx blood test on ALL of our adult dogs FREE OF CHARGE to adopters! If the dog you are interested in tests positive for any of these conditions, treatment will already have been started or completed. Your Adoption Counselor will review any findings with you and we will provide all medical records, along with any medication the dog may need at the time of adoption. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. Story
Neela is currently in Armenia. She was rescued as a puppy after being found abandoned on the street. Her owner took her in in 2019, and they shared a deep and loving bond. Sadly, the owner passed away from cancer in April 2025. One of his last wishes was to find Neela a safe, stable, and loving home, and I am now helping to honor that wish. Neela has genes from a Labrador. She is affectionate, enjoys attention, and truly craves love and companionship. She is very smart and resourceful, and she can open the doors. She is super nice with kids. She loves all the attention. She is well cared for and has a good routine. She eats two meals a day and is trained to use artificial grass for potty needs. At night, she sleeps quietly in his large crate and goes in on command when told, “Go to sleep.” She is not friendly with cats; a cat-free home is preferred. I will pick her up from Armenia in October and bring her to the US to find a forever home for her.

Story
Meet Mello – Delightfully One of a Kind Mello is the kind of dog who makes you do a double take—in the best possible way. With his short legs, slightly wiry coat, and unmistakable charm, he’s living proof that “interesting” and “absolutely adorable” go hand in hand. We’re told he’s a mini labradoodle… but honestly, Mello is just 100% Mello. At 9 years young, this guy still has plenty of pep in his step! He enjoys his walks, loves hanging out with his people, and is the kind of companion who truly values connection. Whether you’re heading out for a stroll or settling in for some couch time, Mello is all in—as long as he’s with you. Now, like any distinguished gentleman, Mello comes with a few quirks. He prefers that his prized possessions (think food or high-value treasures) are respected and not taken from him. With clear boundaries, respectful handling, and an experienced home, this is very manageable—and Mello will reward you with loyalty and love in return. Mello’s highlights:• 9 years young with just the right amount of pep• Affectionate and people-oriented• Enjoys walks and lounging alike• Delightfully unique in both looks and personality Mello is looking for a home that sees the beauty in being a little different—one that will appreciate his quirks, respect his boundaries, and love him for exactly who he is. He may not be your “typical” dog… but he just might be your perfect one Senior Soulmates Program: We believe senior dogs and senior adopters make some of the very best matches. Story
This handsome 2-year-old hound mix is the perfect blend of sweet and soulful, weighing in at about 45 pounds of pure love. Elliot can be a little shy when you first meet him—especially around men, but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see his true personality shine. Once he trusts you, he’ll be your most loyal best friend, always by your side and ready for love. Elliot’s favorite things? Chasing tennis balls like a pro, playing with his doggie friends, and snuggling up for cozy cuddle sessions. He’s also a smart cookie who is very treat-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. Bonus: he’s already housebroken, so he’s ready to settle right into his forever home! Elliot is looking for a kind, patient family who will help him continue to build confidence and show him just how good life can be. In return, he’ll give you endless love, loyalty, and plenty of tail wags.September 9, 2026, 4:20 pm

Story
Meet Dagan Dagan is a gentle senior Black Lab who arrived at the shelter through no fault of his own when his beloved owner lost their home. After spending years as a loyal best friend, Dagan is now hoping for a second chance at the comfort of a forever family. True to his Lab nature, Dagan is loving, calm, and eager to please. He enjoys leisurely walks, soft beds, and anything that involves being close to his people. His biggest joy is quiet companionship — sitting nearby, soaking up kind words and gentle pets. Even after all he’s been through, his tail still wags easily and his heart remains wide open. Dagan would be happiest in a peaceful home where he can relax, be cherished, and enjoy his golden years surrounded by love. In return, he offers devotion, gratitude, and the unmatched sweetness only a senior dog can give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with warmth and quiet love, Dagan is ready to meet you. September 9, 2026, 4:20 pm
