Story
Louie is a 6 year old black mini labradoodle that is 30 lbs. We got him from a breeder in Ellsworth, WI. Louie is very healthy and fit. We give him tick medicine monthly, brush his teeth every night, brush his hair (he does shed some), clip his nails, give him regular exercise, etc. He has regular vet check ups and has all of his necessary vaccines. He is a high energy dog. He is very lovable and loves adults and some dogs that he is familiar with. He does not like to be approached by other dogs when he is on a leash. Louie attended puppy kindergarten through Augusta Dog Training and was sent to a month long board-in through Augusta when he was 2 years old for training with socialization and general training. He is very obedient and a good listener. We can have him off leash on hikes and he stays by us. We have to unfortunately rehome him because he is not getting along with our 14 month old daughter. We know he will thrive with a different family dynamic. He is a great dog.

Frankie’s two favorite things are treats and walks. He will sit nicely for treats, and he walks well on leash. Walking with Frankie is fun! And if given the opportunity he will pick his route for where is wants to explore. Frankie has a plan for his adventure, and he wants to share it with you. He prefers walking off road so put on those hiking shoes. Frankie proudly carries his toy in his mouth on ALL his walks. Heads turn. Smiles bloom. Strangers stop mid-conversation just to say, Aww!” Frankie takes a little time to warm up to new folks – think of it as earning a VIP pass to his inner circle. Once he feels safe, be ready for him to melt your heart when he stares into your eyes and gives you kisses. Frankie deserves all your love and prefers to be the one and only pet in your home. His only real nemesis are delivery trucks. Yup, he’s been informed they bring treats, but he’s still suspicious of their sneaky ways. Moses Moses is a Big hunk O Love on three legs. He's had a rough start in life: starving, dumped with mange and a broken leg with exposed bone. Rescue changed his life and he thinks he won the lottery. His leg was amputated, his mange healed and Regular meals took care of the starvation. He appreciates getting Zertec every day to help his eyes not water from mild allergies. It's an effective solution! Moses is a good looking dog with a personality to match. He's a big, silly guy, close to 80 pounds, preferring to go potty while lifting his back leg. Pretty standard stuff for a boy dog but Moses only has one back leg. He's a born acrobat! Moses is a well behaved guy, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and Neutered. He also does fine with other dogs and adores attention. He'll be a wonderful family addition. I was found wandering the streets of Hastings and have been hanging out at the shelter waiting for my forever family. So…got a couch? Got snacks?
