PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE A FOSTER BASED RESCUE IN TX. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY NOT IN YOUR STATE BUT WILL BE TRANSPORTED ONCE ADOPTED VIA VAN. OUR APP CAN BE FOUND AT haydudeequine.org Hi, I'm Coconut! 🥥 I'm a one-year-old, 45-pound doodle mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. If you're looking for a dog who believes life is better when we're together, I think we should meet! My favorite place in the world? Right next to you...or even better, on your lap! I'm a total cuddle bug, I give amazing hugs, and if you move from one room to another, don't worry—I was planning on going there too. I just really love being with my humans. I'm pretty laid back most of the time, but I also enjoy getting outside, going for walks (I'm a good girl on a leash!), and I've recently discovered how much fun it is to play with other dogs. My buddy Buddy has been teaching me that wrestling and zoomies are pretty awesome, so I'd love a home with another friendly dog to hang out with. I also have a little secret...I'm more athletic than I look! Apparently I've been watching the deer, because I figured out how to jump a fence just like they do. So I'll need a home with a tall, secure fence and people who will keep an eye on me when I'm outside. Let's talk about food...I LOVE it! Don't worry, I'm not food aggressive at all—I just get a little too excited when it's mealtime. I even eat from a puzzle bowl because I think every meal should come with a fun challenge. I think I'd be happy with respectful kids, an active family, and people who want me to be part of their everyday life. I'm not looking to be a backyard dog—I want to be where my family is. I'll happily be your walking buddy, your couch buddy, your errand buddy...basically your everything buddy. One more thing. People sometimes get excited because I'm a doodle mix, but I hope my forever family chooses me because of who I am, not just what I look like. I'm loyal, affectionate, goofy, and ready to love my people with my whole heart. If you're looking for a best friend who gives great hugs, loves adventures, and will never let you feel alone, I think we might just be the perfect match. Love, Coconut 🥥❤️

Story
Meet Teddy, a 3-month-old German Shepherd and Lab mix with a soft golden coat, a gentle personality, and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is looking for a loving family ready to help him continue building his confidence while enjoying all of life's adventures. As Teddy has settled into foster care, his true personality has really started to shine. Without his sister around, he's shown everyone that he's actually a very laid-back, easygoing guy. While he enjoys the occasional burst of zoomies around the yard, he's much more interested in snuggling up for a nap or relaxing by your side. True to his name, Teddy is as soft and cuddly as a teddy bear and loves stretching out with his head resting on his favorite person's feet.Teddy absolutely adores kids of all ages. He's incredibly patient and gentle, happily letting little ones pet him, hold him, and even carry him around. His foster family has been taking him to their son's soccer games, and he has been the perfect companion. Despite being surrounded by lots of people, excited children, and other dogs, Teddy stays calm, quietly watches all the activity, and usually ends up snoozing before the game is over. This sweet pup also does well with cats, showing curiosity while respecting their boundaries. While Teddy would be perfectly happy as the only dog, if he joins a home with another canine companion, that dog should be calm, confident, and patient enough to help him continue building his confidence.Teddy is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night. He is also making great progress with his potty training and continues to improve every day with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. He's a smart boy who is eager to learn and thrives with a predictable routine.Teddy enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the yard, rolling in the grass, and chewing on sturdy toys while he works through teething. He'll benefit from regular exercise and would love a home with a fenced yard where he can safely explore and play. Because he enjoys being close to his people and can be vocal when left alone, he is not the best fit for homes with shared walls. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate puppy who loves children, enjoys both adventures and lazy afternoons, and has the sweetest, most easygoing personality, Teddy could be the perfect addition to your family. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, this special boy will grow into a loyal, devoted companion. If you are interested in Teddy, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Story
Meet Elsie, a beautiful yellow Lab mix with a heart as big as her personality. At approximately 3.5 years old and 50 pounds, Elsie is looking for an active family that will appreciate her energetic, playful nature and zest for life.Elsie has plenty of unique quirks that make her unforgettable. When she's excited, she hops around the yard like a bunny, and when it comes to tennis balls, she prefers pouncing on them rather than simply chasing them. Car rides are one of her favorite activities, and she's always ready to hop in and go on an adventure. She also takes her neighborhood security responsibilities seriously, keeping a watchful eye out for squirrels, rabbits, and cats. She loves other dogs and is always eager to play. However, due to her high prey drive, Elsie cannot live with cats or small dogs. Any canine companions should be calm, easygoing dogs who can tolerate her enthusiastic personality. While she enjoys having dog friends, she prefers not to share her toys, so toy management during playtime is recommended.Elsie is a medium-energy dog who thrives on walks, outdoor adventures, and having room to run. She requires a securely fenced yard with a 6-foot rabbit-proof fence, as she's athletic enough to clear shorter fences when motivated. When she's not exploring outside, she enjoys spending time with her people and being involved in family activities. She is crate trained but has mastered the art of escaping standard kennels, so she will need a sturdy "no-break" kennel when left alone. Although the crate isn't her favorite place, she settles down quickly once inside. Elsie is approximately 85% potty trained and continues to make progress. She occasionally has accidents when she needs to go outside, so she'll benefit from a patient family willing to continue her training. Fortunately, she is highly food motivated, eager to learn, and already making great progress with commands such as "heel" and "stay."Elsie adores people and loves being part of the action, especially when kids are involved. She has a happy, playful spirit and is always ready for fun. Like many enthusiastic dogs, she can get a little excited during play, so a family that will continue encouraging her good manners will help her become the very best companion. With her affectionate heart, eager-to-please personality, and joyful energy, Elsie is sure to bring endless love and laughter to her forever home. The perfect home for Elsie will be active, committed to providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation, and willing to continue her training. In return, she'll offer endless loyalty, affection, entertainment, and plenty of laughs with her bunny hops and goofy personality.Sweet, affectionate, playful, and full of character, Elsie is ready to find a forever family of her own. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will keep you smiling every day, Elsie may be the perfect match. If you are interested in Elsie, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450.
