Story
Louie is a 6 year old black mini labradoodle that is 30 lbs. We got him from a breeder in Ellsworth, WI. Louie is very healthy and fit. We give him tick medicine monthly, brush his teeth every night, brush his hair (he does shed some), clip his nails, give him regular exercise, etc. He has regular vet check ups and has all of his necessary vaccines. He is a high energy dog. He is very lovable and loves adults and some dogs that he is familiar with. He does not like to be approached by other dogs when he is on a leash. Louie attended puppy kindergarten through Augusta Dog Training and was sent to a month long board-in through Augusta when he was 2 years old for training with socialization and general training. He is very obedient and a good listener. We can have him off leash on hikes and he stays by us. We have to unfortunately rehome him because he is not getting along with our 14 month old daughter. We know he will thrive with a different family dynamic. He is a great dog.

These pups are in Plymouth, Minnesota too!

This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Hi! I'm Buckles, a playful pup who loves exploring and learning new tricks. I'm super friendly and nothing makes me happier than playing games with kids. I absolutely love kids, but my foster mom said they should be older kids since I get excited and might tend to knock them over when I'm excited.  I'm always ready for a fun adventure or a cozy cuddle. I'm smart too, so teaching me new things will be a breeze! If you're looking for a loyal friend who will bring joy and laughter into your home, I'm the perfect match. Let's make wonderful memories together! Buckles is working on kennel training She is pretty much house trained She is good with other dogs She doesn’t mind cats  She is scared of my chickens and ducks She knows sit.  She walks great on a leash and recalls well off leash to her name.  We are working on lay down, off, stay, place and touch. She understand the concept but has a very short concentration period so we are only doing 5 minutes of training a few times a day and incorporating a lot of toy and tug action to keep her attention.  She loves fetch and will retrieve the ball and return it.  She’s interested in the water but hasn’t made the jump into the pond.  She is a great puppy with a huge personality that loves the world and exploring all it has to offer!  Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. Currently seeking a foster or forever home Poodlix | Neutered Male | ~1 year old | 8 lbsTurnip is a sweet, affectionate pup who’s all about his favorite human — if you’re looking for a loyal shadow, Turnip is your guy! He bonds closely with one person and becomes anxious when separated, so he’d do best with someone who's home most of the day or can include him in daily activities. Ideal Home:A calm household where he can be the center of attentionPreferably an only dog or with a very low-energy dog. Someone home more often than not (remote worker, retiree, etc. ) Patient, understanding adopter willing to continue potty training and build his confidence Social & Playful:Gets along well with other dogs and cats. Can be a little possessive over toys or treats with other dogs, but has never bitten. Enjoys dog parks and meeting new people Loves cuddling, following his person around, and even watching TV!  Health: Had FHO surgery on his rear left leg; occasional limping or hopping is normal and expected — he's not in pain Requires regular grooming to prevent matting  Other Notes: Sleeps well overnight in his crate Crating for long hours during the day is not ideal — he needs companionship  Learning “sit” and has pretty good recall Eats better when someone keeps him company Can be barky at times (including barking at the TV!) Turnip is a loving, quirky little companion who would thrive in a calm, caring home where he gets the attention and reassurance he craves. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly sidekick who will adore you endlessly — Turnip may be your perfect match.  Interested in fostering or adopting Turnip? Story
Hi! I’m Emma — and I’m looking for my forever home Before we go any further, there’s something important (and pretty cool) you should know about me: I’m deaf! Don’t worry though — it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’ve already started learning hand signals in my foster home, and I’m a very smart girl who works hard for treats. Training time = treat time = my favorite time. I’m still young and full of joy, curiosity, and energy. I love staying busy and have discovered that toys are one of life’s greatest gifts — especially balls. Even better if they’re treat balls. Playing and snacking at the same time? Yes please. I also adore car rides and am a total passenger princess. Bonus points if those rides include pup cups on your morning coffee run… just sayin’. I’m potty trained once I learn my routine, and I’ve made huge progress with crate training. Give me something fun to chew on, like a Kong, and I’ll happily run into my crate, settle in, and snooze away. Easy peasy. Because I’m deaf, I don’t always realize how loud my bark is, so I’d do best in a home without shared walls. I would love a playful dog companion around my size — I’m all about rough-and-tumble play and having a buddy who can keep up with me. Cats (and very small or senior dogs) probably wouldn’t appreciate my enthusiasm, and I’m still learning my manners, so a home without small children would be best for everyone. My foster family says I keep them laughing every single day — and honestly, they’re not wrong. I’m goofy, expressive, and full of personality. At bedtime, I turn into a total sweetheart: I’ll sleep peacefully at your feet or snuggle under the blankets beside you if you let me. I give the best kisses and have the softest, sweetest soul. My dream home is with someone who will give me structure, patience, continued training, and lots of love. In return, I promise endless laughs, loyal companionship, and a whole heart ready to be yours. Could that be you?
