Story
Louie is a 6 year old black mini labradoodle that is 30 lbs. We got him from a breeder in Ellsworth, WI. Louie is very healthy and fit. We give him tick medicine monthly, brush his teeth every night, brush his hair (he does shed some), clip his nails, give him regular exercise, etc. He has regular vet check ups and has all of his necessary vaccines. He is a high energy dog. He is very lovable and loves adults and some dogs that he is familiar with. He does not like to be approached by other dogs when he is on a leash. Louie attended puppy kindergarten through Augusta Dog Training and was sent to a month long board-in through Augusta when he was 2 years old for training with socialization and general training. He is very obedient and a good listener. We can have him off leash on hikes and he stays by us. We have to unfortunately rehome him because he is not getting along with our 14 month old daughter. We know he will thrive with a different family dynamic. He is a great dog.

These pups are in Crystal, Minnesota too!

Story
Brownie is a truly sweet and intelligent dog who’s looking for a loving, understanding home to call her own. She absolutely loves going on walks and enjoys exploring the world at a comfortable pace with her person by her side. Time spent together—especially on a nice walk—is when Brownie is happiest. At home, Brownie has excellent manners. She is both crate trained and house trained, making the transition into a new home much easier. Shes a smart girl who picks up routines quickly and does best when she knows what to expect. Brownie would do best with slow, respectful introductions to other dogs, as she prefers to take her time getting comfortable. She would thrive in a home with older kids who understand how to give her space and let trust build naturally. Brownie is not suitable for a home with small animals. With patience, consistency, and love, Brownie will reward her people with loyalty, affection, and a wonderful companionship. She’s ready to find a home where she can feel safe, understood, and cherished. If you think Brownie could be the perfect match for your family, please reach out to learn more or set up a meet-and-greet! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $600 plus taxFritter (aka Moe or Moe Moe) is the calm, easygoing soul of the group. He also learned to respond to “puppies come!” — and to his nicknames — and often chose to step away from the chaos when his siblings got a little too rowdy. Fritter is a cuddly boy who enjoys being close to his people and was happiest staying near me, especially during busy moments. He has a sweet, affectionate nature and would do wonderfully as an only dog, soaking up all the attention, but would also be just fine sharing his home with other pets. He’s the kind of companion who brings a sense of calm wherever he goes. Come meet me and my friends at the 2026 Twin Cities Auto Show! Ask what day I’m attending See all of the animals attending this event.    * Puppies under 5 months should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help them with potty training and socialization.   If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.  We do not transport to potential adopters. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $ 350 plus taxHi, I’m Beatrice and I get along very well with all sorts (and sizes) of dogs but I have trouble being alone. I get separation anxiety, have a tough time riding in cars and visiting the vet but when I am at home with another dog, all that goes away and I’m really easy to care for.  When people come over that aren’t “dog people” I’m fine being kennelled but when my people are away I do my best when left out with another dog. I haven’t counter surfed, gotten into the garbage, or made a mess so my foster doesn’t mind that I can easily jump the baby gates. I could probably jump the backyard fence and I have escaped before when I didn’t have a dog friend to keep me company but I don’t get into trouble as long as I have a buddy around. I am a card carrying people pleaser so any time you can invest in my training would be awesome but I’m a good girl that already knows the basics like sit, down, and stay. I’ve lived with cats, they don’t bother me and I am good with kids too (especially older ones that like to play)! I’m also cuddlebug certified and while I like to play and show off, I’m just as happy to snuggle on the couch for hours too!
