Name: Teddy Breeds: Labradoodle Age: Puppy Sex: Male Size: Large when fully grown Teddy is a 5 month old Labradoodle surrendered by a home that loved him but knew that he needed more than they could give him. He is doing very well on his housetraining and crates perfectly for the workday. Teddy is a snuggler and loves to cuddle! He also loves toys, walks, and being silly just like any puppy. He is still a puppy so his home should plan for continued training and socialization to keep shaping him into the best dog he can be. Teddy is expected to be a large sized dog as an adult. WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Lola - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! I am with another rescue that is having a family emergency. If interested in adopting me, Hay Dude Rescue will pull me into their rescue to complete my adoption. My name is Lola and if you're in search of a gorgeous active gal that is as beautiful inside as out, look no further! I am around a year old and very sweet, active and playful. I do fantastic with everyone... other dogs, people and even those weird smelling creatures y'all call a cat. I would make a great addition for just about any family that is looking for a sweetie to add joy to their life. I will need to have a home with no kids or kids that are older. I'm a sweetie but get very excited when playing or when you come home. I can get a little mouthy, which comes from my young age. We are working on my manners but will need strict parents to keep up my work in progress. I am already house trained so that will leave lots of time for us to get right to the fun stuff. I do love going for my walks whether it's around the neighborhood or going on a sniffari on nature trails. I AM NOT a couch potato and will need an active family that will provide me lots of daily exercise, playtime and adventures. I come in at around 45lb of pure love, 45lbs of happy to see you, 45lbs of tail wags and those melt your heart puppy dog eyes, 45lbs of I'm ready for whatever you're up to doing!! Are you in search of a family addition that will be there by your side, a constant in your life thru all your daily going on's? A BFF to share your joys, sorrows and your adventures? WAIT, stop scrolling, I am that gal!!!

Story
Moose is a loving, kind dog. Moose’s dream day would be a morning jog, a chance to steal butter off the kitchen counter, snuggles on the couch, and an evening walk. He has a lot of energy and needs to go to a home that can take him for runs or long walks. He’s great with other dogs (spends a LOT of time at the cabin with a very energetic German shorthair) and cats (lives with one now who he plays with and cuddles). He’s very unsure of kids but has never done anything to harm one. We have a one year old that pulls his hair and moose seems to hate it but has never snapped back. Moose barks a LOT and needs to have a yard. He’s not meant to be an apartment dog. Moose can be a bit of a menace. He loves human food and will break into the garbage if given the chance. He’ll steal food right off the counter when you aren’t looking. We are rehoming moose because I’m pregnant with our second baby and don’t have the ability to provide moose the energy and love he deserves.

Story
Hi! I’m Sheila, I'm 8 years old and done being a mama! I’m enjoying my new life in Minnesota learning to play and looking forward to retiring on a couch, eating treats, playing with my toys, and snuggling up with my people. I’ve been spending my days dancing around my foster home trying out ALL the toys and ALL the beds, sniffing ALL the smells in the backyard, and taking naps both inside and out. Things I’ve learned I love are attention, treats, attention, toys (especially squeaky ones), attention, breakfast and dinner, attention, and sitting in laps. And did I mention attention? Things I’m figuring out is pottying outside (I know to go outside, but usually go inside once a day just because i want to!), which things/plants are ok to chew (hint- phone charger cords are NOT ok), and sometimes other dogs (I want ALL your attention!) I play tug and chase with the right companion but they need to be ok with me being the boss. Things I’m not a fan of are storms and loud noises, strangers, and the super cold weather. I don’t know or care what cats are- boring! I’m poodly smart with a big personality and would love to learn more games and might benefit from working with a trainer to help me learn to share if I end up living with other dogs. I can get a little jealous and bossy!  I will let you know if it sounds like anyone is coming home so living in a place with shared walls won't work for me as all those noises make me anxious and our neighbors won't like me letting them all know!  I will also answer if I hear other dogs calling me, ignoring them would be rude! I don't really like the leash but love to go outside in my fenced in yard to go potty, so I will definitely need a fence!  Zoomies in the yard or chasing my people are enough exercise for me. What I want most in life is to snuggle my BFF and eat treats. Can you be that BFF? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $200 plus taxMillie wants to please her people as well as be with them while they are at home. She loves riding in the car. If the weather allows, she’s a great dog to go on errands with. I think she’s happier that she was brought along rather than left alone at home. Millie is house trained and at this time she requires an insulin shot right after she eats in the morning and 10-12 hours later, with dinner-she requires special diabetic dog food. Approximate monthly cost of her medications and prescription food is $335.She gets along well with other dogs she can be a bit too much for smaller dogs. and cats are unknown. She can be very vocal when hungry or when she has to go outside. Her best bet is a fenced yard that she can be just let out to go potty when she needs to.  Millie will need to continue to work with a Veterinarian to keep her diabetes regulated so she can live a long happy life.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.   //

Story
Hi! I'm Buddy. I am a black lab born in mid Feb. 2022. Unfortunately, I didn't have the best start as something happened when I was with the breeder where I stopped walking at around 4 weeks of age. I don't remember what, and unfortunately nothing was done to figure out how to help me. A local friend heard about me and was able to get the breeder to surrender me -- I was 5.5 months old at that time. I could kinda walk, but mostly scooted (or as my foster calls it - slinking) around with both my rear legs out to the side. They then let me go to NDLB where I started getting the care I needed.  My rear right leg had minimal muscle mass and my joints wouldn't bend, so I just swung it if I was walking. My rear left leg had better muscle mass and movement. The vet recommended amputate the rear right. Once I healed up from that, I was actually able to walk/hop a little better since I didn't have that hard weight on the side.  I am going through home physical therapy where my foster is doing a range of movement on my rear leg and playing with my toes a lot. (I like to lick her in the face - I mean, it tickles!) The physical therapist we saw recommends moving that leg a lot and playing with toes so I can remember it's there. It would be recommended to continue seeing a professional physical therapist as well - as they are optimistic that I won't need a wheelchair later in life. If I can get a few good steps in, I can walk pretty good. However, I am a lab and get excited too quickly sometimes and end up slinking my way around some times.  With my disability in walking the greatest, I am NOT potty trained. I may never be potty trained unfortunately. So I'm sorry about that. I don't realize I am going most of the time and will continue walking. I am also unable to walk on hardwood/linoleum/non-carpeted floors or go down stairs. So I will need to be carried down stairs (inside & outside). I am working on going up them however, and do need help with just slightly holding my hips. However, I have been doing the first two stairs by myself - carpeted as well as outside stairs! My foster momma is super proud of that.  Despite all of that, I love everyone I meet. I love kids and adults. I love playing with other dogs. I also love playing fetch (though it's more you tossing and helping me up from me slinking). I haven't met any cats so I don't know how I would be with them. I do bark in my kennel when I hear someone, when it's food time, when I've peed/pooped in the kennel, or at various times. I ride great in the car - tethered to a seat or in a crate. I'm fine as long as I get to go somewhere with you. I do have a special "Help Em Up" harness that will go with me when I am adopted. I have been in my foster home for over a year now. I can go up the stairs (as long as they are carpeted, longer flights (4+) I may need help on. I still don't like slippery floors. I am better in the kennel and don't bark as much. However, I do still go to the bathroom wherever, but I seem to know when I'm going and not walking around during it as much. Do you think you have room for a special needs boy who has an amazing heart? Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
