Story
Hey there, folks! The name's Smudge, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home. At just one year old and 66 pounds, I'm a Labradoodle who has found himself in need of a new family after being surrendered. Let me tell you a little about myself—I'm what you might call a phenomenal pup. I've got brains and beauty, and I'm not afraid to show it! I've already mastered some impressive tricks like sit and shake, thanks to my sharp mind and eagerness to please. But don't let my intelligence fool you—I'm also a big goofball at heart. Happiness is my middle name and I'm all about living life to the fullest. If you're in need of a loyal companion who will fill your days with laughter and love, look no further! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hey pawesome people! My name is Chloe, and I'm a lovable Labradoodle weighing about 45 lbs. I've been on quite the journey in my 6 years of life. You see, I started off in a puppy mill, where life was tough and love was scarce. But I found my way to a rescue after being willingly surrendered where I was finally given the chance to experience love and care. Despite my rough start, I've never lost my friendly and outgoing nature. I am great all people, adults and kids! I also get along fabulously with other dogs. Now, I'm on the lookout for my forever home, where I can shower my new family with unconditional love and loyalty (and receive it as well)! So, what do you say? Will you be the one to give me the loving home I've been dreaming of? Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). Story
Hi there, I'm 6 month old Geoffrey, the cutest 30-35 pound Labradoodle. I’m here to let you know that I am searching for my forever home or a temporary foster home. Now, don't let my initial shyness fool you. While I might take a moment to warm up to new faces, once I trust you, I'm all tail wags and puppy kisses. My playful nature shines brightest when I'm surrounded by love and patience, making me the perfect companion for someone who's ready to welcome a furry friend into their life. If you're looking for a furry friend to join your family, consider giving me a chance. With a patient and loving home, I know I can become the confident and outgoing pup I was meant to be! Story
If you look up goofball in the dictionary, you’d find a picture of Remy. Remy is a 14-20 month old doodle mix. He’s adventurous, a big food and really smart. Remy loves going on big walks and sniffing out new routes to explore. Remy is quite strong on the leash but has shown he can avoid pulling as much as he usually does Remy also loves to say hello to everybody on the walks, looking a little aggressive in his approach, and will voice his dismay with not being able to do so by whining/barking. Remy does have friends around town he’s always looking to say high to and trade the occasional butt sniff. Remy is house trained and will use the crate periodically without snack incentive. Remy now seems to flip flop between using a human bed or a bed dog at night. Whatever strikes his fancy. Remy can sit, gently take the treat, go down on all fours and can wait for you to give him the green light for both his meals & the snack a few feet in front of him. Hasn’t figured out paw/shake yet. As much as Remy likes a good adventure, he also doesn’t mind hanging out on the couch. Things to note: Remy has gotten better with water intake with the help of a bowl that has a lily pad atop it to funnel how much water he can drink, but he still shows the occasional sign of wanting to endlessly drink. Remy is at the height where his lust for food can get him into all sorts of trouble. It is recommended that your trash cans and hampers have lids to combat his curious nature. Remy is always on the constant search for cats and squirrels. Remy doesn’t like not knowing where you are – Blankets are used to keep cold air trapped in one section of his foster home and doesn’t like when somebody goes behind them and he can’t see them anymore! Apply NOW! http://www.coldnosewarmheart.org/dog-application.html

Story
Mila is a very sweet Lab mix, about 1.5 years old and 40 lbs. She is super friendly, great with kids and likes other dogs. She is still very much a puppy and jumps up with excitement when she sees you, but knows basic commands like sit and down. She is playful, affectionate and housetrained when kept on schedule. She is hesitant around men and prefers the company of women so we are looking for an all-female home for her. An overall great pooch looking for a great family to love! Be sure to complete an application on line and continue to monitor our website for updates.
