Once he feels safe, his favorite thing in the world is a gentle back rub. That is his love language. Rocky was 4 months old when I received him as a gift for Christmas in 2023. My son and I fell in love with him and he easily become apart of the family. We have since taken multiple road trips to Virginia for family gatherings and vacations. Rocky is loving and energetic, he gets along just fine with my 4 year old cat and loves children. Rocky needs the time attention that I honestly do not have. I am A Registered Nurse in NYC and my 15 year old is involved in many activities. I feel guilty about not having the space in our apartment for him to run about freely. I would be so happy if a family with kids, preferably with some outdoor space is able to take my baby in.

I know who I am, and I move through the world with a friendly, upbeat energy that makes people smile. I’m playful, social, and always ready to join in on whatever’s happening around me. I’m good with other dogs and wouldn’t mind having some canine friends around. I am looking for a home without young kids, where things are a little calmer and more predictable for me. That kind of environment helps me relax and be my best self. I’m not shy or unsure — I’m confident, curious, and comfortable being part of a routine. What I’m looking for is a forever home that wants a fun, friendly companion who already knows how to enjoy life. I’m past the puppy chaos but still playful and full of personality. If you’re looking for a dog who will bring energy, joy, and confidence into your home, I might just be the one for you!
