🖤🐾 MEET EBONY — THE CHILLEST, SWEETEST GIRL WHO JUST WANTS TO BE YOUR BEST FRIEND! 🐾🖤
🥹 She's the LAST of her litter still waiting for a family. Could you be the one she's been waiting for?
Meet Ebony, a gorgeous mixed-breed girl who's approximately 16 months old and weighs 55 lbs. She's beautiful, she's gentle, she's easy-going, and she's just about as laid-back as a dog can be!
But there's something about Ebony's story that makes us want to find her a home even more. 💔
❤️ A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE
Ebony and her siblings were just MINUTES away from being euthanized at a high-kill shelter in the South Texas/Mexico border area when an amazing rescue group stepped in and saved them all.
Every one of her siblings has since found a loving forever home.
Every one of them… except Ebony.
Somehow, this sweet girl is still waiting for someone to notice her. She's been given a second chance at life, and now all she needs is a family to give her the happily ever after she deserves. 🏡
🐶 MEET THE GIRL WHO GOES WITH THE FLOW
If you're looking for a calm, easygoing companion, Ebony might just be your perfect match!
✨ Super sweet and gentle. ✨ Confident but wonderfully submissive. ✨ Unbothered by just about everything. ✨ Happy to go with the flow. ✨ Loves ALL humans. ✨ Equally happy with or without other dogs in the home.
Ebony doesn't need to be the center of attention, and she doesn't need a jam-packed schedule to be happy. She's simply content to be wherever her people are.
She's the kind of dog who will quietly follow you from room to room, settle beside you, and make your house feel a little more like home.
💕 YOUR PERSONAL SHADOW AND BEST FRIEND
Ebony would much rather hang out inside with her humans than spend all day running around.
She's not looking for a marathon-running partner or a family that needs a dog to keep up with nonstop adventures. She's looking for someone who appreciates the simple things in life.
A cozy couch. A relaxing afternoon. A casual stroll around the neighborhood. A few toys to play with. And, most importantly, someone to love.
She does enjoy her toys, and she'd be happy to join you for leisurely walks, but she's definitely more of a chill-and-snuggle kind of girl!
Honestly, Ebony sounds like the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a quieter lifestyle. 🖤
🏡 SHE'S ALREADY LEARNED SOME GREAT HOUSEHOLD SKILLS!
🐾 Leash-trained and ready for neighborhood strolls.
🐾 Crate-trained.
🐾 Mostly house-trained and continuing to work on it.
🐾 Comfortable around people and adaptable to different situations.
🐱 WHAT ABOUT CATS?
Ebony hasn't been formally cat-tested yet, but we suspect she may do just fine with feline friends. If you're interested in adopting her and have cats at home, the rescue can arrange a cat test to help determine whether she'd be a good match.
❤️ EBONY'S DREAM HOME
We think Ebony would absolutely thrive in a relaxed household where she can spend plenty of time indoors with her favorite people.
She could be happy as an only dog, soaking up all the love for herself, or sharing her home with another compatible dog.
She doesn't need a huge backyard or an overly active lifestyle. She just needs a family who will cherish her, include her in everyday life, and never give up on her.
💔 PLEASE DON'T LET EBONY BE THE ONE WHO GETS LEFT BEHIND.
All her siblings have been chosen. Now it's her turn.
She's survived a shelter situation where her life was almost cut short. She's been given the chance to live, to love, and to find a family of her own.
Now we just need someone to open their heart to her.
Could you be the person who finally says, "You're the one I've been waiting for"?
