Story
Meet Luna ❤️ It is with a heavy heart that we are looking for a loving forever home for our beautiful Luna, a cream-colored Multigenerational Australian Labradoodle. Luna was born on December 9, 2019, and has been part of our family since March 1, 2020. She is a medium-sized, spayed female who is house-trained, leash-trained, and microchipped. She gets along well with both dogs and cats and has a gentle, affectionate personality. Luna was purchased from Dallas Labradoodles and has been a beloved member of our family for over six years. She is intelligent, loyal, loving, and enjoys being close to her people. This decision is heartbreaking for us. We are relocating overseas and recently learned that we will not be able to bring a pet to our destination. After exploring every option available, we have made the difficult decision to find Luna a wonderful new home where she will continue to receive the love, attention, and care she deserves. We are committed to finding the right family

Story
Scooby was living in a trailer park OUTSIDE in a tiny crate! He lived there day after day, night after night. He barely made a sound. These people got a citation from the shelter about having too many animals and all outdoors in this heat. They ended up giving away Scooby and they contacted Cody's for help. The foster said he is "the absolute SWEETEST dog - so patient and  very loving. Super great with other dogs and just pretty "perfect". He weighs 28 lbs and is 2 years old. No longer unwanted. He needs and deserves a very special home for a very special boy! He will be groomed soon as he did have lots of fleas and we hope they can leave most of those golden locks! ##2777753##

Story
Hi ! My name is Koda I’m very energetic also goofy at times. I’ve grown up with cats and kids around me. I unfortunately was attacked by a dog at the park so meeting new dogs I would need a slow introduction. I’m not mean I just bark at those who don’t give me attention. I would love a home with a backyard for me to do some zoomies. I am sorta potty trained I know I need to go outside but if no one is home I am trained to use a puppy pad.

Story
Katie is a fully vetted, 1-2 yrs old doodle, who is very sweet!! She does ok with other dogs, though sometimes she gets a little overbearing when playing with them, and causes her to become "alpha", so we are hoping to find her a home where she can be the only dog, getting all the love! Katie loves the water, walks well on a leash, loves to ride in the car, great with children, and her temperament with people is very loving. She is house broken, crate trained and well mannered. Bishop is an amazing one and a half yr old Labradoodle. He is fully vetted and microchipped. He does need some work on the leash, but we are working on that! Bishop loves everyone he meets and absolutely thrives when playing with other dogs!! We are requiring another playful dog in the home, for any potential adopter for Bishop. He is fun loving, outgoing, loves attention and quite the dapper looking fellow! If interested on Bishop, please fill out our adoption application: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org

Story
Hello, my name is Mercury! I am an approximately 18 month old male Lab and Pit Bull mix weighing around 48 pounds who is looking for a loving forever home. I was found off Holden Drive in Rockwall alongside two other dogs believed to be my siblings and was never reclaimed. I am a sweet and gentle boy who can be a little shy when adjusting to new people and environments. New situations can be overwhelming at first, but with patience, kindness, and consistency, I begin to relax and show my affectionate side. Once I trust someone, I enjoy quiet cuddle time and being close to my people. I walk well on a leash and would do best with a family that can provide encouragement and support as I continue to build confidence. I am still learning that new experiences can be positive, and I am looking for someone willing to help me grow at my own pace. I have done well with female dogs. My compatibility with male dogs is currently unknown. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is recommended prior to adoption to ensure we are a good fit for one another. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and annual boosters, and I have tested heartworm positive. Thanks to Rockwall PAWS, my heartworm treatment is sponsored, helping ensure I have every opportunity to live a long and healthy life. My adoption fee is $125. If you are interested in giving me the loving home I deserve, please submit an adoption application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ An approved application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet. I look forward to finding a family that will help me leave my past behind and start my next chapter.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. July 2, 2026, 12:54 pm

Story
I got Hunter in 2019 and he has been with me through good times and bad times. He’s a great dog that loves with all his heart. He’s so sweet with kids but if my baby sneaks up on him he has shown aggression so I don’t think he’d be happy living in a house with a small child. He doesn’t like to play fetch but he will watch you get the ball. He will play with toys when he’s in the mood and he loves to lay on multiple dog beds. I think he feels extra cozy with them. He’s good with dogs when he gets to know them. He doesn’t want to deal with them. He will give kisses like crazy and he loves scratches. He’s also happy to taste test anything you cook. I would not rehome him if I had a choice but this is best for him.
