Story
Meet Bigfoot – Yes, He's Finally Been Spotted! After years of blurry photos and mysterious sightings, we can finally confirm that Bigfoot is real! And this handsome black Labradoodle isn’t hiding in the woods—he’s been found and is ready to find a family of his own.  Bigfoot is almost 4 years old and is a gentle, easygoing boy who is happiest hanging out with his people and enjoying the simple things in life. He is completely house trained with zero accidents in his foster home and is also crate trained. Since he isn’t destructive or a chewer, he does well with some freedom outside his crate, too. Bigfoot loves other dogs and has a wonderful time playing with his foster sister. He would likely enjoy having a canine companion in his forever home. He has not been tested with cats. When it’s time to get out and explore, Bigfoot is ready to go! He loves walks and does well on a leash. He can get excited when he sees another dog out for a walk, but he is easily redirected and keeps moving along. Bigfoot can be a little shy when meeting new people, so he does best with a calm, proper introduction. Give him a little time to realize you’re a friend, and you’ll get to see the sweet and affectionate boy underneath that initial shyness. Once he’s comfortable, Bigfoot is all about companionship. He is a champion couch companion who would happily curl up beside you for a nap—or sleep in bed with you if he gets the invitation! He is also a pretty quiet guy and rarely barks, although he will let you know when someone comes to the door. Bigfoot is fully vetted and is currently being treated for an ear infection. He is such a gentle soul that even when it’s time for his ear medication, he simply lies down and lets his foster take care of him. Bigfoot may have been hard to spot, but he’s impossible to miss once you get to know him. If you’re looking for a gentle, well-mannered companion who enjoys walks, other dogs, and a good couch cuddle, this handsome boy may be the one you’ve been searching for. ##2823437##

Due to a recent divorce and a move to housing that cannot accommodate them, I am no longer able to provide the home they deserve. I am committed to helping financially by providing their supplies and records, transporting them wherever needed, and doing whatever I can to ensure they remain together.Finding the right home for Maggie and Motley is my highest priority. I am willing to personally transport them to their new home anywhere within a reasonable distance to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition. My goal is not simply to rehome them—it is to find a family who will love and care for them as they deserve. After ten years of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love, they deserve nothing less.I understand that adopting two senior dogs is a significant commitment, and I am happy to answer questions, provide veterinary records, discuss their routines and preferences, and help make the transition as easy as possible for both the dogs and their new family.

Story
We got Zoe as a puppy from a breeder and fell in love with her. She is so smart and she knows sit, lye down, paw, go home (kennel) and outside. She’s aggressive towards other animals. My pit bull we had before her bullied her as a pup but as she grew bigger than him she got aggressive with him and we also added a cat to the mix which she would like to play with but not in a good way. Every sense I brought her back in my cat is peeing and acting out. I love Zoe and would love to keep her but my daughters cat and my other daughters dog have to stay or I’m the bad mom. Also my kids aren’t helping me with Zoe and she needs a lot of attention like walks and playing. I no longer can give her these things because I’m constantly at work. Her lab part definitely stands out because she hunts baby possums in my backyard. She has not eat them but will kill them and present to you as presents. She’s not a bad dog just needs more love than I can give. She’s great with kids, just likes to jump.

Story
Obi is a wonderful dog that we love tremendously. He is sweet with our entire family and has historically been friendly with guests. We are seeking this option post a dog bite incident. We are highly regretful of the scenario and unclear on what triggered the incident. We believe he would be ideal in a household with another dog and ability for high levels of activity. We welcome and conversations.

Story
Meet Mercury! Mercury is an approximately 18 month old Lab/Pit Bull mix weighing around 48 pounds who is looking for a patient, loving forever home. Though a little shy at first, Mercury blossoms with kindness and encouragement. Once he trusts you, he becomes a sweet, affectionate companion who loves quiet cuddle time and being close to his people. He walks well on a leash and would thrive in a calm home that will continue building his confidence through routine and positive experiences. Mercury does well with female dogs and has also done well with some male dogs. A meet and greet is recommended for homes with resident dogs to ensure a good fit. Mercury is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and annual boosters, and heartworm positive. Thanks to Rockwall PAWS, his heartworm treatment is sponsored. Mercury has been searching for a family to call his own for 121 days as of 08/17/26 and is one of our Diamond Dogs. His adoption fee has been reduced to $75 to help him find the family he deserves. If you're looking for a gentle companion whose trust is earned and whose love is unwavering, Mercury may be the perfect addition to your family. Apply to adopt Mercury today: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Meet Stormy! Stormy is an approximately 8 year old Black Labrador Retriever mix weighing 67 pounds who has been looking for a family to call her own for the last 110 days as of 08/17/26. As one of our Diamond Dogs, her adoption fee has been reduced to just $75 to help her find the loving family she deserves. Stormy was found running loose on Vitex Drive on 04/29/26 and, sadly, was never reclaimed. Now she is ready to leave shelter life behind and enjoy the comfort of a home once again. Stormy is a calm, gentle, and easygoing companion who would love nothing more than a quiet place to relax with her favorite people. She appears to be house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and keeps her kennel clean. Stormy is good with other dogs, but she prefers to have her own space in the home and can be possessive of high value items. She would do best with a family who can provide consistent boundaries, clear expectations, and respect for her space when needed. If there is another dog in the home, thoughtful management and providing each dog with their own space and resources will help set everyone up for success. Stormy is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccination and basic boosters, and is heartworm negative. After 101 days of waiting, Stormy is more than ready for a family who will give her the stability, companionship, and comfortable home she deserves. If you are looking for a loyal, laid back companion to share your life with, Stormy may be the perfect match. Please submit an online adoption application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. Approved applicants will be contacted regarding the next steps in the adoption process.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
