Story
RAVEN Ideal Home -Raven will benefit from continuing the training and socialization started in her foster home. -Her adopters will need to patiently expand her world as she meets new people, particularly men. -She enjoys the company of other dogs, but they aren’t essential to her happiness. -She would thrive in a calm, rescue-savvy home where she gets lots of attention from her humans. -Her best home will engage her with daily exercise and mental stimulation. -Raven needs time to acclimate to changes and will need time to decompress in her new home. Personality -Raven has zero awareness of her size. Did someone say “lap-pup”, why yes–she just needs a lot of lap. -Physical affection is Raven’s love language, and she won’t be deterred. Prepare to be pawed. -After a few days to decompress and settle in, Raven will be the love and light of your life! -This goofy girl is determined to catch her tail in just-one-more-spin. Is Raven Your Match? Raven’s adoption fee is $650. She is HW-negative and current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Raven a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within a 5-hour drive of one of our metro areas (DFW, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio), please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons on this page https://www.doodledandyrescue.org/all-adoptable-doodles/raven and choose RAVEN from the drop-down menu.

Story
Personality -He’s a low/medium energy doodle who is content with a daily walk (long or short, he’s ready) and then happily enjoying all the naps and cuddles. -He’s a huge fan of kids and the attention they give him. He will gladly soak up all of it. -He’s enjoyable to walk as his leash skills are fabulous. -He’s social and enjoys meeting and greeting new people. -He will make sure you feel celebrated when you return home each time. Just consider him your personal welcome committee. Ideal Home -Shadow’s ideal home will have a calm, submissive canine pal. He loves to run around the back yard with a buddy. -Shadow takes daily medication which controls his seizures. -He does fine when left out loose (as long as countertops are clear of food) when you have to leave for a bit. -He would do best in a home where he has consistent company. He’s all about his people! His family will need to continue working to build his confidence in being home alone. Are You a Match for Shadow Slate? Shadow Slate’s adoption fee is $650. Story
We got Ruston from a breeder 10 years ago. He was around another dog until early 2025 but she passed. He loves people and other dogs. He’s always been fine with our 3 kids and lets them know gently when he’s annoyed. One of our sons has really bad allergies and we’ve tried every option to try and make having a dog work but his dog allergies have gotten worse. We are making the hard choice to look for a loving family that doesn’t have any dog allergies for Ruston to have a good later part of life with. He loves walks and also just being lazy on his cozy dog bed. He spends days alone fine and doesn’t need a crate.

Due to a recent divorce and a move to housing that cannot accommodate them, I am no longer able to provide the home they deserve. I am committed to helping financially by providing their supplies and records, transporting them wherever needed, and doing whatever I can to ensure they remain together.Finding the right home for Maggie and Motley is my highest priority. I am willing to personally transport them to their new home anywhere within a reasonable distance to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition. My goal is not simply to rehome them—it is to find a family who will love and care for them as they deserve. After ten years of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love, they deserve nothing less.I understand that adopting two senior dogs is a significant commitment, and I am happy to answer questions, provide veterinary records, discuss their routines and preferences, and help make the transition as easy as possible for both the dogs and their new family.

Story
Meet Mercury! Mercury is an approximately 18 month old Lab/Pit Bull mix weighing around 48 pounds who is looking for a patient, loving forever home. Though a little shy at first, Mercury blossoms with kindness and encouragement. Once he trusts you, he becomes a sweet, affectionate companion who loves quiet cuddle time and being close to his people. He walks well on a leash and would thrive in a calm home that will continue building his confidence through routine and positive experiences. Mercury does well with female dogs and has also done well with some male dogs. A meet and greet is recommended for homes with resident dogs to ensure a good fit. Mercury is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and annual boosters, and heartworm positive. Thanks to Rockwall PAWS, his heartworm treatment is sponsored. Mercury has been searching for a family to call his own for 90 days as of 07/17/26 and is now a Diamond Dog. His adoption fee is $75. If you're looking for a gentle companion whose trust is earned and whose love is unwavering, Mercury may be the perfect addition to your family. Story
Meet Stormy! Stormy is an approximately 8 year old Black Labrador Retriever mix weighing 67 pounds who has been waiting for a forever home for over 90 days. As one of our Diamond Dogs, her adoption fee has been reduced to just $75 to help her find the loving family she deserves. Stormy was found running loose on Vitex Drive on 04/29/26 and, sadly, was never reclaimed. Now she is ready to leave shelter life behind and enjoy the comfort of a home once again. Stormy is a calm, gentle, and easygoing companion who would love nothing more than a quiet place to relax with her favorite people. She appears to be house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and keeps her kennel clean. Stormy gets along well with other dogs in public but would do best as the only pet in the home where she can enjoy all of the love and attention for herself. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccination and basic boosters, and is heartworm negative. If you are looking for a loyal, low maintenance companion who is ready to spend her golden years by your side, Stormy may be the perfect match. Please submit an online adoption application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. Approved applicants will be contacted regarding the next steps in the adoption process.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Hello, my name is Ladybug! I am a 11 week old female Lab/Great Pyr mix that weighs around 18lbs.I was found with what is presumed to be my sibling off State Highway 276 in Rockwall County on 7/16/26. Unfortunately, nobody came to reclaim me, so I came to the Rockwall Adoption Center to find my forever home. I am a sweet, affectionate puppy who would love a family with the time and patience to help me grow into a wonderful companion. I have been diagnosed with ringworm, which is a common and treatable fungal skin infection, not a worm. It can spread to people and other animals through direct contact, so I will remain contagious until August 16, 2026. I have already started treatment, and my adopter will simply need to continue my medication until it is complete. My adoption fee is $125 and includes my spay, rabies vaccine, microchip, Bord/Dappv boosters to date, and dewormer. Please note: I am required to return to the Rockwall Adoption Center on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, for my spay surgery and rabies vaccine. This appointment is mandatory and part of my adoption contract. If you would like to make me part of your family, please submit an adoption application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Once your application has been reviewed, our staff will contact you to schedule a meet and greet.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
