Ebony is a striking blend of elegance and warmth. With a sleek, inky-black, softly curled coat that catches the light. Ebony has a naturally polished look. Her eyes are deep and expressive-curious, intelligent, and kind-often seeming to read the room before she moves. She carries herself with a gentle confidence: playful when invited, calm and attentive when things settle. True to her Labradoodle nature, Ebony is affectionate and people-oriented, thriving on companionship and praise. She’s quick to learn, eager to please, and has comforting presence-equally happy bounding through the yard or cutting up nearby for a quiet moment. Ebony just isn’t beautiful; she’s loyal, intuitive, and full of heart.

Story
Poppi is such a sweet and active young dog. We rescued her as a puppy and have had her for 6months. She is house-trained, can sit, lay down and fetch enough balls to make your arm hurt. I work from home and she sleeps at my feet until break time is a quick walk or some treats. She doesn't fight going into her crate and that is where she sleeps as well. My travel schedule is going to increase greatly and therefore her time in her crate during the day will also increase alot. It is not fair for her and we want her to have room to run and play.

Story
Poppi is the sweetest puppy and is good with everyone in our home, including my kids. My work situation has changed and we are not home as much. Poppi is spending more time in her crate and it is just not fair to her. She has lots of energy and loves to chase tennis balls. She is crate trained and housebroken. She is 8 months old and weighs approximately 30 lbs. The vet thinks she will probably be about 40 lbs full grown. She is up to date on all vaccinations and is microchipped. She is ready to be spayed - the vet had suggested between 6-8 months old. She is a sweet and wonderful dog that just needs more attention than we can give her right now.

Story
Hi, I’m Jordan! My foster family calls me JoJo and I like that name too. The vet thinks I’m around 7-months-old and I probably won’t get much bigger than I am now. I currently weigh about 37 pounds. I am also potty trained and crate trained. I walk pretty well on a leash but could use a little more practice (I’m still a puppy, after all). At home, I might get a little mischievous… if you leave your shoes or socks out, I might “borrow” them for safekeeping or bring them outside into the yard! I love toys (the squeakier the better), playing fetch, and running around in the yard and at the dog park. I’m super friendly with people and other dogs. I’m not sure how I feel about cats yet, but I promise I bring lots of love, laughter, and tail wags wherever I go. If you’re looking for a playful, fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and on your toes, I might just be your girl! Email info@habitat4paws.org for more on adopting Diamond. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Lolex is a very active loving companion. Becoming a new mom has made it difficult to meet his social needs. He is use to an active life of daily walks and playtime. He is very good with children with special needs. He was trained as a therapy dog and went with me to work.

Story
🌞 Meet Sunny – Proof That Love Can Change Everything! 🌞 Sweet Sunny is around 1 yr old, and his name fits him perfectly—he’s a bright, happy boy whose light shines even after a rough start. When he was rescued, Sunny had been left outside, terribly matted and neglected. But with love, care, and a safe place to land, this goofy pup has completely come out of his shell. Now, everyone who meets him instantly falls in love! 💛 Sunny is neutered, fully vetted, potty trained, bell trained, and kennel trained—a total catch! He loves playing fetch, chewing on toys, and collecting little “treasures” when you’re not looking. He’s learned to sit and is working on stay, always eager to please and soak up praise. He’s great with kids and loves to be part of the fun, though he’s still learning some manners when he gets excited. Sunny would thrive with a larger dog friend to play with—he doesn’t quite realize his size around smaller pups! At the end of the day, this once-forgotten boy just wants to snuggle up close and be near his people. Sunny’s heart is as big as his smile, and he’s ready to share it with a forever family who will never stop showing him the love he’s always deserved. ☀️🐾 *We would love to find Sunny a forever family, with another dog in the home, for companionship. Story
Meet Coconut Coconut is a sweet 18-year-old female Poodle mix weighing about 16 pounds who is looking for a calm, loving home to enjoy her golden years. She was surrendered when her previous owners were no longer able to provide the care a senior dog deserves, and now she's ready for her next chapter with a family who can give her comfort, stability, and love. Despite her age, Coconut is doing quite well overall and appears healthy for an 18-year-old senior. She has been receiving care for a skin infection, which is being treated with medication and is improving. Skin infections are common in dogs with underlying allergies, especially when left untreated, and Coconut is already on the path to healing. If she is adopted before treatment is complete, her adopters will receive her remaining medication along with instructions to continue her care at home. Coconut was also treated for a double ear infection and is scheduled to return on 01/21/26 for her second treatment to ensure full resolution. This follow-up appointment will help keep her comfortable and feeling her best. Coconut is currently living in a foster home, where she's enjoying a cozy environment while she waits for her forever family. She is spayed, microchipped, current on rabies and basic boosters, and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $125. Because Coconut is in foster care and not housed at the shelter, an approved online adoption application is required prior to scheduling any meet and greets or adoption. Apply here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Coconut may be a senior gal, but she still has so much love to give&#194&#151and she's hoping to spend her golden years surrounded by comfort, care, and kindness.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. January 7, 2026, 4:15 pm

Story
Meet Igor &#194&#150 Your Loyal Shadow with a Big Heart and an Even Bigger Personality Igor is an 11-month-old male Labrador mix weighing about 50 lbs, and he's ready to trade in shelter life for a couch, a family, and a lifetime of love. He came to Rockwall Adoption Center after his previous owner experienced serious medical and personal hardships and could no longer care for him, but Igor has kept his joyful spirit and strong desire to be close to his people. This handsome boy is everything you'd expect from a young Lab mix: friendly, affectionate, playful, and full of life. He is housebroken, crate trained, great with kids, and does well with other dogs. Igor thrives on companionship and likes to be part of whatever his humans are doing. Because he forms strong bonds, he can become anxious when left alone for long periods and does best in a home where he isn't left to his own devices without guidance or structure. He will benefit from an adjustment period as he learns his new home's boundaries, routines, and expectations, along with continued positive training and reassurance. Like many puppies his age, Igor has plenty of energy and enthusiasm and can be a bit exuberant at times. With regular exercise, mental enrichment, and a consistent schedule, he will settle in and grow into a confident, well-mannered companion. Igor is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies and DHPPC vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $125, which includes all of his veterinary care. If you're looking for a loving, loyal, people-oriented pup who wants to be your constant companion and will flourish with patience, structure, and affection, Igor may be the perfect match for you. Story
Meet Honey &#194&#150 Your Sweetest New Best Friend! Hi! I'm Honey, a 6-year-old Lab/Golden Retriever mix weighing about 52 lbs, and I truly live up to my name. I came to the shelter on 08/14/2025 when my family moved into a smaller home and wanted me to have more room to run, play, and be the happy girl I am. Now I'm ready for my next chapter and a forever family to love. I'm a friendly, outgoing sweetheart who absolutely adores kids of all ages. If there are giggles, hugs, or a game of fetch happening, I want to be right in the middle of it. I'm fully house-trained, have great manners, and love being part of the family routine. Crates aren't really my thing, but cozy beds, couches, and being near my people definitely are. I prefer to be the one and only pet so I can soak up all the attention (and belly rubs) for myself. I'm also a bit of a clever girl with an adventurous streak, so a securely fenced yard and mindful door-checking are important&#194&#151I like to keep life exciting, and sometimes that means testing my &#194&#147escape artist&#194&#148 skills. My adoption fee is $125, and I come spayed, microchipped, up to date on my rabies and boosters. I did test heartworm positive, but the good news is that treatment will be provided at little to no cost to my adopter thanks to the wonderful support of Rockwall PAWS. The RAC staff are always happy to answer any questions and explain the treatment process. If you're looking for a loving, playful, loyal companion who will fill your home with joy, cuddles, and a whole lot of heart, I'd love to meet you. Apply to adopt me here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ I can't wait to find my forever family and start our sweet life together!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
