Story
Mabel is a sweetheart. She is 7 years old and loves to be outside. She doesn’t sleep in a crate and hasn’t needed one. She uses a doggy door but will also wait until you let her out. She is pretty laid back but does get excited at walk time! Housebroken. Rarely barks for more than a half a second or so if a new person comes to the door but she will stop when you tell her to. She is well trained and happy to please. Loves her treats, and belly rubs. She will get timid and pee a little if you yell around her but apart from that we haven’t seen any issues. She’s been with us 7 months but I need to find her a forever home as I am moving soon for school and cannot take her with me. No adoption fee and all her beds go with her. She sleeps on her bed in my room but will often go downstairs and loves to lay on her outside bed on the porch. We have a fenced yard that she loves to play in but she would do ok in an apartment as well if you can give her daily walks. Texts preferred. 4065360558

Story
His name is Murphy, and he’s a one year old Australian labradoodle. He’s sweet but high energy. He has down basic commands and does well on leash. He loves other dogs and needs to play a lot. He is good with kids but tends to “herd” them. He would benefit from a family or person who can give home lots of outlets for his energy.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾✨ Meet Bindi — 65 Pounds of Doodle Energy, Smarts, and Fabulous Hair ✨🐾 Female • 18 Months Old • 65 lbs • Doodle Extraordinaire If you’re familiar with doodles, you already know they come with a few standard features: ✔️ Big personality ✔️ Big heart ✔️ Big energy ✔️ And hair that occasionally requires its own maintenance schedule Bindi checks every one of those boxes — and then adds a little extra sparkle. At 18 months old and 65 pounds, Bindi is right in that fun young-adult stage where she’s learned the basics but still has plenty of playful, goofy doodle enthusiasm to keep life interesting. This girl absolutely loves her people. Like… really loves them. Think “personal fan club president” level devotion. She bonds closely with her humans and wants to be right there with you for all of life’s activities — whether that’s heading out for a walk, running errands, or supervising snack preparation in the kitchen. Because Bindi loves her humans so much, she’d do best as the one-and-only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention without having to share her VIP people. And speaking of activity… Bindi is not applying for the job of Professional Couch Potato. She’s looking for a young, active family that enjoys staying busy and getting out into the world. Her dream schedule might include: • Daily walks or jogs • Weekend adventures • Puzzle toys that make her think • Backyard zoomie sessions • Supervising family activities like a curly-haired life coach Bindi is crate trained, house trained, and already has some great basic obedience skills under her belt. She’s a smart girl who truly enjoys learning, and with continued structure and activity, she’ll absolutely thrive. She’s wonderful with people of all sizes — from small humans to tall ones — though she can be a little protective of her favorite humans because she takes her “family security supervisor” role seriously. And of course, as a doodle, Bindi will need regular grooming to keep those fabulous curls looking their best. Think of it less as maintenance and more as spa day for your dog. Freshly brushed doodles are basically walking teddy bears. Bindi is the kind of dog who will fill your home with energy, laughter, and endless loyalty. With the right active family, she’ll be an incredible companion who’s always ready for the next adventure — and always ready to remind you that life is better with a doodle by your side. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Bindi bring the doodle energy, the curly cuddles, and the joyful chaos into your life. 🐶💛

It’s absolutely shocking & disturbing what these dogs endure but they fight for their lives. Soul destroying to think of what he has been through & yet he still loves human beings even after everything they have done to him. We cannot even begin to imagine what Sun witnessed & heard when he was at the slaughterhouse. How Sun ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? What we do know is, he was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Sun & many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting Sun out, his fate was a torturous death. We believe every sweet soul such as Sun & his friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Sun is looking for a special family to cherish him & be patient with him & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs. Sun was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Sun was bought back to the USA where he is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Sun brings so much joy & peace. He is a very gentle patient little soul. He just wants you to love him & he will love you back. He adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in his life to show him such true love & affection. When he finds people who love him they become his world. He is a very spirited & bouncy mini poodle his foster mum & dad said he is just so lovely & can jump on the couch to cuddle either you. He is smart & can run up & down hardwood stairs. He will also want to cuddle in bed with you. He loves to run & play with his foster siblings & must go to a home with a young dog who will play with him & doesn’t mind him nudging him to play with him. He loves a good outfit & will get ready for you to put one on him. Sun eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats & supplements. He also enjoys collagen sticks & bully sticks. All of his treats are homemade Sun has been taught to walk on harness & leash & has been doing wonderful. He would need continued work walking on his harness & leash. Sun is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Sun adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming him, baths, the hairdryer he loves it all. He also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Sun & we have been excited to change his world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. He now loves his toys in his foster home. Sun has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. He is such an amazing, loving little lad. With Sun we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this boy. He does not like crates especially after everything he has been through. We are also looking for a forever home for Sun where someone is home during the day or Sun can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Did we mention this boy loves a good outfit too. Sun is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be very patient with him & understanding. Sun has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company in his loving foster home. He can be found at times snuggled up to his foster siblings. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Sun’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home. Sun is now roughly 17 lbs & just turned 2 years old & a miniture poodle & what he is mixed with we are not sure? He is microchipped, up to date on his shots including DHLPP, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. When Sun arrived he was very thin & we have been putting weight on this little man. We have spent over $2000 on Sun with bringing him to the US with his travel airfare paying for his medical care, including, shots, neuter microchip etc, than his adoption fee comes close to covering. Sun has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Sun with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Sun was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Sun’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Sun potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Sun & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Zoom followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Sun who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet boy. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Sun has an adoption fee of $850 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
