Becky she of been a result of covid being dumped or just not wanted anymore, who knows? How she ended up there we will never know, but what we do know is her death would of been a extremely cruel death but thankfully she was rescued by our wonderful rescuers before anything further could happen to her. The length of time she endured on the streets we can’t even imagine what she went through nor experienced. Thankfully one of the truly dedicated Chinese rescues who are outstanding rescuers rescued the beautiful Becky. This poor girl was so dirty, smelly, filthy & a emaciated & matted mess & that she is unrecognizable to the dog you see today. They took Becky & Hana to their facility & looked after Becky & we could not wait to change her future but covid had hit & the waiting began. Becky was taken to the vets to get her well & healthy. This became a very expensive situation with covid. We were finally able to bring everyone back through cargo which is an astronomical expense per dog, but we believe every sweet soul such as Becky & her friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Our very sweet Becky is now looking for that very magical forever home. Becky was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Becky was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Becky’s foster mum said she is another sweetheart & she & Hana follow her everywhere she goes & is so loyal, what another beauty she is, inside & out. But she is a lot more reserved & a bit more shyer but adores playing. It’s so stinking cute to see these pair laying with each other. We all love her so much to. She is also so easy to love & adore. She is so very patient & enjoys being with people along with dogs. She also enjoys a good treat now she knows what they are & she takes treats like a little lady. She has put on weight instantly since being in the rescue & has adjusted so well to being in the US. She still would need to put on more weight. Becky has done well walking on a harness & leash & done so well with us so far but would still need continued work. Becky is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Becky adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning her eyes, cleaning her ears & grooming her, she loves being touched in general. She jumps at you when she wants or knows you are going to pick her up & she so enjoys being loved when you pick her up. Becky did really well with being bathed considering we don’t know how many times she has been bathed in the short time she has been on this earth. We have had her with many breeds of dogs & in her foster home she was fostered with Hana & they love each other so much & would play & play. She has done well with different size dogs & adores dogs & running & playing with them so that’s why she needs other dog friends in her new home. She is also still learning her puppy manners. We would like both these girls to stay together as they truly love each other. We have had Becky with both men & woman & she adores both. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Becky & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. She is making up for lost time & who could blame her. She adores sleeping in the bed with her foster mum so in forever home she needs a home where she can sleep with her family. Becky has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such a sweetheart of a little lady. She is so good in the car & enjoys a good journey. When we first got her in the US & drove her, she also slept & slept & it appears was making up for lost time. With Becky we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely sweetheart only because of her past. We are also looking for a forever home for Becky where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Becky is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding. Becky has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & in her foster home she is with other dogs & loves playing & snuggling with the dogs & enjoys their company so we are only looking for a home where she can be with another young dog or other playful dogs in the home. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Becky’s new forever home. Becky is a female, roughly 13 months old & possibly a poodle havanese mix, what she is mixed with we are not sure. She is now roughly 16.2 lbs & has put on quite a bit of weight since coming to the US & being with us in the rescue. Becky is spayed & female, she had a dental/scale & polish along with dental x-rays. She is heart worm negative, she is microchipped, up to date on her shots, had her shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed twice. We have spent far more on Becky with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare costs, alone bringing her through cargo, without anything else then on top of that paying for her medical care & boarding fees, including a dental/scale & polish & x-rays, spay, shots, medication for a uti, microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Becky has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats. But it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Becky was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & we do not know Becky’s exact birthday. But it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Becky’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Becky potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Becky & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Webex due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Becky who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet girl. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Becky has an adoption fee of $1250 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

How Jam ien survived on the deathly streets of China with his beloved brother Jie & nothing happening to them to this day we will never know. We cannot even begin to imagine what Jam ien witnessed & heard when he was on the streets for almost a week. What we do know is, that Jam ien kept his brother Jie safe & everywhere they went Jie would follow Jam ien & he more than likely kept him safe & alive. What we do know is, Jam ien & his bonded brother Jam ien were rescued off the streets by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. It’s absolutely soul destroying to think about the extremely dangerous situation he ended up in. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers they rescued Jam ien & many others for us. Without these beloved rescuer’s going & getting Jam ien from, the streets his fate would of been a horrendous death. They transferred Jam ien to their own rescue & covid had hit & the waiting began. Along with Jam ien & many other sweet souls they got well & they waited to come to the US. This became a very extremely expensive situation with covid. We were finally able to bring everyone back through cargo which is an astronomical expense per dog, but we believe every sweet soul such as Jam ien & his friends & brother deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Jam ien is looking for a special family to cherish him & his brother Jie & be patient with him & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs. Jam ien was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Jam ien was bought back to the USA where he is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Lovely little chap Jam ien & his brother Jie have come such a long way since being rescued in China. They have really flourished & gotten so much more confident. It depends upon the person who he tends to like more, wether it is a female or male. The boys were in 2 foster homes & in 1 foster home they loved the foster dad over the foster mum & did everything with the foster dad & loved him & was not interested in the foster mum. Then in their other foster home they preferred the foster mum over the foster dad but still liked the foster dad. We think for Jam ien he needs a home with a backyard as in apartment living with the noises he just don’t do well with the different unknown noises but in a house would be ideal for them. Jam ien has enjoyed eating since he has been here in the US with all the new tasty food he gets but let’s face it, being fed the way we are feeding him is all new to him & just being fed all the time is new to him. He also enjoys a good treat. He has put on weight instantly since being in the rescue. Jam ien loves you once he knows you & trust you & will paw at you to get your attention or to be picked up. He & is brother are very similar but their personalities have changed & flourished since being with us. Jam ien does really well on her harness & leash considering we believe we are the first people to teach him how to go on walks but would still need to be taught. Jam ien is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Jam ien adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming him, he loves it all. He also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Jam ien is so good with being bathed. With Jam ien we had him with many breeds of dogs & he has done well with different size dogs. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Jam ien & we have been excited to change his world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. He is making up for lost time & who could blame him. In his new forever home he will more than likely sleep wherever his brother is, they are 2 peas in a pod. But with the right forever home he may want to sleep in the bed with you. Jam ien has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride once he knows & trusts his people. He is such a sweet little guy once he knows & trusts you just like his brother. He just sits back & enjoys the journey. With Jam ien we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only because of his horrendous past. Absolutely no crates for him. He gets very frightened when put into a crate. We are also looking for a forever home for Jam ien where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Jam ien is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be very patient with him & understanding. Jam ien has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs in his loving foster home. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Jam ien’s new forever home. Jam ien is now roughly 14.6 lbs & has put on quite a bit of weight since coming to the US with us, he is 2 years old & perhaps a miniture poodle & what he is mixed with we are not sure? He is neutered & male, he had a dental/scale & polish along with dental x-rays & 1 premolar extraction. He is heart worm negative, he is microchipped, up to date on his shots, had his shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Jam ien with bringing him to the US with his travel airfare costs, alone bringing him through cargo, without anything else then on top of that paying for his medical care & boarding fees, including a dental/scale & polish & dental x-rays, 1 premolar extraction, neuter, shots, microchip etc, than his adoption fee comes close to covering. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The call was put out for the need from several commercial breeders who needed some of their dogs gone, at a cost of course in the middle of Omaha. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. But despite where they lived & had been used for 6 years straight as breeding machines & were used to make money off their backs, they were all the most precious bundles of joy. The girls lives was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. They were one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued a total of 11 lives including Frankie & Fiona. What’s shocking & truly is a first for us is these girls had just been spayed. How we don’t know because when we got Frankie her spay was clearly infected & was oozing puss & needed medical treatment & antibiotics which of course we took care of. But the girls were just so lovely still. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Frankie & Fiona how they are supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as they are in their foster home. Frankie & Fiona & their friends were bought back to the WA state where they are now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find their new loving devoted forever home together. These 2 beautiful girls from the get go were so extremely sweet & so forgiving of humans. Wow have they come along way. They both arrived freshly shaved down to the skin but now their fur has started to grown back in beautifully. On Frankie she has a patch where perhaps she had a hot spot or & infection that was never treated & has a bit of a patch there but in time should grow in. They both now love a Christmas jumper, spend their days with a beautiful family who have been teaching them what it is to be loved & held. At the end of the day they are both happy for you to pick them up & give them love & stay in your lap or to be playing. They have been so great with very respectful children in their foster home. These girls are very bonded & we would never e er separate them. They will look for each other & are so joyous once they know where the other one is. Frankie & Fiona both foster mums said are so affectionate & jumps at you to pick them up & give you love & kisses & hugs. The reality is, the foster homes are their real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding they can snuggle up in, a roof over their head that’s not outside. Both girls are wonderful eaters & not shy about eating. They ate clean in their first foster home, meaning they ate grains, fruits & vegetables & many healthy proteins along with supplements. In their second foster home they are eating kibble. The girls are so good with their baths & being dried by the hairdryer & very tolerant. They both adore comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something they did not get to experience ever in 6 years until we rescued them. Both girls have loved everyone they have met. They would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash. Frankie & Fiona both ride in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when they went to be dropped off with the breeder & when we got them & going home with their foster families & to & from the vets. It’s still all new to them though. We are looking for a crate free home for these ladies only. Frankie & Fiona as you can imagine spent the first part of their lives in a caged environment. So we are looking for a cage free home only. We are also looking for a forever home for Frankie & Fiona where someone is home during the day or they can go with their people wherever possibly they can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Frankie & Fiona are looking for a forever home who will cherish them & love them as they should be loved & be patient with them & never give up on them. Frankie & Fiona have been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in their foster homes & they are currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. So they can go to a forever home with other dogs in the home or just the pair of them together. We will not separate the girls so please do not use ask us too. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory if living in a home. Frankie & Fiona are roughly 15.6 lbs & 11.6 lbs & 6 years old & ‭miniture poodles‬. What they are mixed with we are not sure, female, they are both spayed, microchipped, received all their shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies. Frankie has a heart murmur. They both had dental scale & polish’s & Frankie had 3 premolars & 2 incisors removed. The breeder spayed her & she arrived with her spay oozing puss & needed antibiotics. Fiona had 1 premolar, 1 incisor & 1 intermediate removed. While in the care of a foster home, who they are no longer with. Frankie’s toes were broken on 1 foot, her front foot. How, we truly will never know? We have had Frankie in a splint while her toes are healing & 1 has completely healed & we are waiting on the remaining 3 to heal. Frankie & Fiona can be adopted & ASTR will pay for weekly bandage changes until her remaining toes have healed. We have spent far more on Frankie & Fiona with getting them from a commercial breeder. Bringing them to WA with their travel costs, their transportation to WA. All of their medical care in WA etc & bringing them to WA than their adoption fee comes close to covering. Their adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on Frankie & Fiona. The girls have not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have had them around small children & they have done well but we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. Hudson & his friends were bought back to the WA state where he is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Sweet Mr Hudson, he is one of the loveliest souls you will ever meet. His foster mum said we’ve been calling Hudson Sid. My daughter thought he looked like Sid from Ice age & we jokingly called him that & now he responds to it. He will follow you wherever you go & wants to be with someone 100% of the time. He plays fetch & loves balls & toys. He knows he is adored & good with being picked up & held & carried around to see what is going on. He & his friend Macy who was rescued together have become very close & love each other. Macy is also a poodle. We would love for them to get adopted together if possible. They now run & play together & chase each other in the backyard as they now have the freedom to be who they were always meant to be. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. Hudson is such a great eater & is not shy about eating & has not been since the day we got him & his foster family took him home. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He absolutely must go to a forever home with a dog or dog’s present in the home for him to thrive in. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Hudson is roughly 7.5 lbs & he is ‭3 years old & a miniture poodle‬. He has put on weight since being in his loving foster home. He has a major dental scale & polish along with dental x-rays with us & had gum surgery along with 3 premolars removed & 8 incisors. What he is mixed with we are not sure, male, he is neutered by laser by our wonderful vets, he is microchipped, received all of his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Hudson with paying for him from a commercial breeder. Bringing him to WA with his travel costs, his transportation to WA. All of his medical care in WA & Omaha etc & bringing him to WA than his adoption fee comes close to covering. Hudson has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have had her around small children & he has done amazing but we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Hudson was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Hudson’s friends & siblings he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Hudson potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Hudson & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or Zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Hudson who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for the special sweet little chap. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Hudson has an adoption fee of $1250 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

It’s so disgusting to think this is allowed to happen. Beautiful Macy’s, mind body & soul was being used as a breeding machine in Missouri to make money off her back. We were able to bid on her & in fact bought her to stop having a life of misery over & over again for evil human beings to make money off her. Living her life outside in the stinking heat day after day then in the freezing cold in winter time in a metal tin can of a shed was over. Her life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. On this day we rescued a total of 21 breeding mum & dads who all they knew was to breed in a life of hell & then being sold. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Macy how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home Macy was bought back to the WA state where she is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. What these sweet souls see & hear is just disgusting. After everything she has been through its miracle she has built trust. She is beyond grateful to get out of that hell hole she was in & radiates gratitude. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding she can snuggle up in, a roof over head that’s not outside. Macy’s foster mum said, Macy- poor girl is so anxious but has improved drastically. We can now pick her up without spending 45 minutes to corner her & she doesn't try to bite you when you pick her up. She's very playful in the morning & likes laying where the blanket & pillow meet, like a person. Macy adores her fellow rescue friend Hudson (Sid) & he has become her buddy & made her feel comfortable & they love each other. We would love to get them adopted together to help them thrive but understand it may not happen so she would need time patience & understanding in her new home but she has come such a long way with her trust. Prior to the wonderful foster home the only time she was touched or handled was when she was forced to breed so now building that trust in her foster home is so wonderful. This amazing foster home understood the hell she had been through & have taught Macy what love is. She adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. She would still need work walking on her harness & leash. Macy rides fine in the car & considering the only times we know of before was when she went to auction to be sold & when we rescued her but this is it for her car rides. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. She spent her whole life confined for breeding. Macy as you can imagine spent such a long time in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Macy where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Macy is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Macy has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in her loving foster home. Macy needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, she enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have her with another dog that she is friends with in her loving foster home. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take her to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Macy is roughly 10 lbs & she is 5 years old. She is a miniture poodle, what she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets. She had a dental scale & polish & dental x-rays & had 3 incisors & 2 molars removed. She is microchipped & is up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Macy with paying for her from a puppy mill auction in Missouri. Bringing her to WA with her travel costs, her transportation to WA. All of her medical care in WA etc & bringing her to WA than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Her adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on Macy. Macy has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. This is always so brutal & awful when we rescue dogs from the auctions in Missouri as they are just another number in a catalogue with countless other souls being sold off to be ready to be used over & over again as breeding machines to live their lives in cages in sheds with no real purpose except to breed. When we can we bid on these poor souls to stop that cycle & get them out of this hell & of course it’s all about money for these breeders with these dogs. We bid on Lone Ranger & won & thank goodness we did because once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. The breeder was done with him using him as a breeding machine & keeping him in a cage & instantly his life was changing in that moment & only for the better. He was one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued a total of 21 lives including Lone Ranger. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Lone Ranger how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as we love him. Lone Ranger & his friends were bought back to the WA state where he is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Lone Ranger, our hearts hurt to think about what he went through because he is the biggest love you will meet. He is a sweet soul & has adapted so well to what normal life is supposed to be. He has learnt to wear outfits, what it is to be held & cuddled. The freedom to run & play with his dog friends. What his own bowl of food is. He has the cutest personality on him. He knows he is adored & good with being picked up & held & carried around to see what is going on. He & his friend Maria who was rescued together have become very close & love each other. Maria is also a poodle. We would love for them to get adopted together if possible. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. Lone Ranger is such a great eater & is not shy about eating & has not been since the day we got him. We have tested him in a daycare with countless breeds of dogs & he has done amazing. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He is such a sweetheart & who just wants to be loved & to make up for his past. He loves everyone. He would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash but has been taught to walk on a slip lead. Lone Ranger rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when he went to be sold & when we got him & going home with us & to & from the vets. It’s still all new to him though. Apply to adopt him today and discover why he's sure to steal your heart with his happiness, playfulness, and sensitive nature! * Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.

The call was put out for the need from commercial breeders who needed some of their dogs gone, at a cost of course in the middle of Omaha. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. But despite where they lived i& were going to be used to make money off their backs, they were all the most precious bundles of joy. Her life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. She was one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued Lady & 15 other baby dolls. Lady & her friends were bought back to the WA state where she is now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Lady is so stunning to look at & she looks right at you with such love her foster mum said. She will stare at you as if she is staring into your soul. She saiid she is the life of the party but can also be a peacemaker if her foster siblings become a little naughty. She loves every dog & they love her. She said wherever you are lady wants to be & is so very spirited & lovely. Instantly when she went into her foster home it was as if she had always been there & part of the pack. She will talk to her foster mum she said when she wants her attention or wants something from her. She will also be happy to play with her foster siblings & loves to chase the other dogs. In her foster home she goes on material potty pads. For everything she has been through her foster mum said she is a sweetheart. Lady her foster mum said is so affectionate & jumps at you to pick her up & give her love & kisses & hugs. She adores being carried & given love. Her foster mum said she has a huge personality & will let it be known she is there & will let you know what she wants. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding she can snuggle up in, a roof over head that’s not outside. Lady is a wonderful eater & is not shy about eating. She eats clean in her foster home, meaning she eats grains, fruits & vegetables & many healthy proteins along with supplements. She is good with her baths & being dried by the hairdryer & very tolerant. She adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. She will bark at her foster family to pick her up & put her on the bed to sleep with them. She is such a fun puppy who just wants to be loved & to make up for her past. She loves everyone. She would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash. She is a puppy & we have not taken her out anywhere. She does not discriminate against breeds. She has always been with other dogs & she adores other dogs & they make her feel comfortable & confident. Lady rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when she went to be sold & when we got her & going home with her foster family & to & from the vets. What she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets, microchipped, received her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Lady with paying for her from a commercial breeder. Bringing her to WA with her travel/flight costs, her transportation to WA. All of her medical care in WA etc & bringing her to WA then her adoption fee comes close to covering. Her adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on Lady. Lady has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not her around small children so we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Lady was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Lady friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Lady potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Lady & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. We will only be accepting applications for Lady who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Lady has an adoption fee of $1250 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. On this day we rescued Phoebe & 15 other baby dolls which some were her siblings. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Phoebe how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as she is in her foster home. Phoebe & her friends & siblings were bought back to the WA state where she is now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Phoebe was very shy at first & a little uncertain but when she is comfortable she is the sweetest fun angel. Phoebe has been in 2 different foster homes & in her first foster home she was very quite but loved the other dogs & would play with them & lay with them snuggled up. In her 2nd foster home she is a lot more adventurous & has a lot more energy. At the end of the day she is happy for you to pick her up & give her love & stay in your lap or to be running & playing. Adores toys & chewing on toys. She would bot be a pack leader her foster mum said. She is changing constantly her foster mum said with her looks from when she first arrived. Instantly when she went into her foster home it was as if she had always been there & part of the pack. In her foster home she goes on material potty pads & goes potty outside too. For everything she has been through her foster mum said she is such a lovely little soul. Phoebe her foster mum said is so affectionate & jumps at you to pick her up & give her love & kisses & hugs. She adores being carried & given love. The reality is, the foster homes are her real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding she can snuggle up in, a roof over head that’s not outside. Phoebe is a wonderful eater & is not shy about eating. She ate clean in her first foster home, meaning she eats grains, fruits & vegetables & many healthy proteins along with supplements. Phoebe rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when she went to be sold & when we got her & going home with her foster families & to & from the vets. It’s still all new to her though. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Phoebe as you can imagine spent the first part of her life in a caged environment. She loses her mind if she is put into a crate & goes nuts wanting out. Who could blame her? We are also looking for a forever home for Phoebe where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Sweet Phoebe is losing all of her puppy fuzz fur & her new adult fur is growing in. Phoebe is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Phoebe has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in her foster home & she is currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. She absolutely must go to a forever home with a dog or dog’s present in the home roughly the same size for her to thrive in. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take her to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Phoebe is roughly 9 lbs & she is 8 months old & ‭a cockapoo per the breeder‬. She has put on weight since being in her loving foster home. What she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets, microchipped. She is up to date on all her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Phoebe with paying for her from a commercial breeder. In one foster home Phoebe would bother the cats & we had to put her into a different foster home. We were not there when Phoebe was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Phoebe’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. They were going to be used to make money off their backs, they were all the most precious bundles of joy. His life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. He was one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued Tom & 15 other baby dolls which some were his siblings. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Tom how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as he is in his devoted foster home. Tom was bought back to the WA state where he now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Tom is such a sweetheart of a boy & come along way in such a short amount of time. When we first rescued him he of course was uncertain but now he will lay in your lap for love & naps. He loves affection & everyone he meets once he knows you. He is currently fostered in a loving foster home with his sister Phoebe & a big beautiful chocolate lab. For everything he has been through, he adapted quite quickly to his very devoted foster home. All he knew was the life of being in a breeding environment. He had no clue to eat out of a bowl or what the food was he was being given. He would need time to adjust in his new home. We have had Tom in a couple of foster homes due to no fault of his. In every foster home he has been so very loved & such a sweetheart. He really just wants to have fun with his foster siblings & be loved & fed. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. This boy is good about wearing a little outfit too. This boy loves to play with anyone who will play with him. He loves puppies too & adult dogs. He must go to a forever home with playful dogs & this mandatory to make him comfortable in his transition to his forever home. Tom eats clean in his foster home, meaning raw fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains & supplements. At first he did not want to eat at all because the food they are fed is of the lowest quality imaginable. But once he understood what was going on he now devours his food. He is now good with his baths & is now good being dried with the hairdryer. He would still need work walking on his harness & leash as it’s all completely new to him. He does not discriminate against breeds. Tom rides well in the car & considering the only times we know of was when he was rescued & going to the vets with his foster family.
