Kezar and Levi lived a happy life in the city with their mom, dad and resident cat. Mom took them on numerous walks and a daily hike. When she passed dad tried to keep up with their enrichment activities until his health made that no longer possible. His son wanted the best for them and knew it was time for them to find a new home. That’s when Lily’s entered the scene. Kezar and Levi are quite the duo. Like George Clooney and Brad Pitt, these handsome gentlemen make quite the pair. Kezar (the lab mix) is 10 years old and more refined than his younger counterpart. Levi (the Golden Retriever) is the younger of the two and it shows. While Kezar is fairly mellow and easy going, Levi is playful and silly. Kezar is happy to relax and enjoy a quiet day, while Levi loves to play with toys and seeks the attention of others to join him in the shenanigans. And that’s ok – Levi keeps Kezar youthful and Kezar keeps Levi in check. They really compliment each other and are looking for an adopter who will open their home and heart to both.

He is blind, though he can see some shadows, and he navigates the world with an incredible amount of confidence, trust, and joy. Once he gets familiar with his surroundings, he does amazingly well. The best thing about TJ? He is just pure love. He is affectionate, goofy, gentle, and deeply people-oriented. He loves attention, loves being close, and has the kind of happy, grateful personality that makes everyone who meets him fall a little bit in love. TJ is also wonderful with other dogs. Meet our Mexican rescue, Canelo. 🐾 Canelo is a 7-month-old Lab mix weighing about 30 pounds, and he’s expected to grow into a medium-sized dog of around 40–55 pounds. Not every puppy gets a second chance. Canelo almost didn’t. At just a few months old, he was found alone on the streets of Jalisco, Mexico after being separated from his siblings when they were abandoned. He was miles away from them, painfully thin, suffering from bronchitis, and so weak he could barely stand. Every rib and bone showed. No puppy should ever have to start life that way. Today, thanks to months of love, veterinary care, and dedicated fostering, Canelo is finally healthy and safe in San Francisco. Now all he needs is the one thing we can’t give him—a forever family. Canelo is a happy, goofy, active puppy with a huge personality. He loves playing with other dogs but also enjoys winding down in the evenings with a favorite chew or toy. He’s sassy, playful, and guaranteed to make you laugh as he navigates his rambunctious teenage puppy phase. He loves rolling in the grass, chewing on toys (he’s still teething!), going for car rides, visiting dog parks, and joining every adventure. He’s food motivated and eager to learn. He already knows sit, paw, high five, and twirl—all in Spanish! He’s house-trained and thrives with structure, continued training, daily exercise, and enrichment. He would make an incredible hiking, running, or adventure companion. Canelo would do best with an active, dog-savvy adopter committed to positive reinforcement. A home with a confident, well-socialized larger dog would be an excellent match, and a yard or active lifestyle would help him burn off his puppy energy. Because of his prey drive, Canelo cannot live with cats or other small animals. Due to his mouthy, excitable teenage puppy behavior, he’s also not the best fit for homes with young children. Canelo has overcome more in seven months than most dogs experience in a lifetime. While his siblings’ stories remain unknown, he was one of the lucky ones who survived and made it to the United States for a chance at a better life. But his journey isn’t complete yet. He survived.
