Story
Nikki and Koda ended up in a shelter in SoCal after their owner passed away. They had lived on a piece of land in Temecula with other dogs of all sizes, cats, chickens, pigs ducks and goats. Nikki had been with her owner since she was a puppy and was described as the mama dog on the property and the animals would all go to her. She even raised a goat as her own! Nikki knows her basic commands and has the sweetest disposition. She loves to snuggle into pillows and blankets for a comfy nap. Nikki is an easy-going girl who craves human affection and has been described as “loving baby animals.” Nikki's son, Koda, is half lab, half malamute who was born on the family ranch. Koda walks nicely on leash and knows his basic commands. He is a sweet boy who spent his days on the ranch outside, taking naps and observing the resident animals on the property. Koda absolutely loves human attention, flashing his charming grin and offering a paw in exchange for affection. These two bonded sweeties are looking for their forever home together!

Story
This sweet girl came to us from the Contra Costa shelter. While we don’t know much about her past, we do know she is an absolute love to all. A quiet, observant girl, Gwen is very polite and has clearly been well-loved in her past life. She knows her basic commands including “spin” and “drop it” when playing fetch and loves to play with squeaky toys. In her short time at Lily’s, Gwen has made lots of friends, human and canine and has the sweetest nature. Gwen is a lovable girl who wants nothing more than to be her human/s' shadow. She will make a wonderful companion to one lucky family!

Story
Tank came to us from a Central Valley shelter where he had ended up after his owner passed away. Tank came in with a sister doggy sibling who was adopted by a family friend and sadly Tank was left behind on his own at the shelter. We couldn’t let that be his fate, so we found space and brought him up to Lily’s. At 11 years young, Tank does not let his hip dysplasia and arthritis get in the way of his exploration. With the curiosity and enthusiasm of a youthful pup, Tank has proven that age is just a number! Tank gets along with doggies and humans alike at the sanctuary, excitedly approaching new furry friends for play and asking for belly rubs from those with opposable thumbs! Tank is stealing hearts left and right at Lily’s and once you meet him, you will see why!

Story
Ketchup is the perfect dip to enhance any meal! This loveable guy is 8 years old and around 68lbs, and probably a mix of pitbull and labrador. He looooves people and wiggles his way up to anyone who offers him some attention. If you have toys and treats, you'll be his best friend for life. Ketchup may be a senior, but he has the playful spirit of a puppy (without the jumping and mouthing; he's a polite gentleman). Ketchup's foster parents have described him as "the perfect dog". He's up for anything -- hikes, meandering sniffy walks, sunbathing at home -- whatever you want, he's in! Ketchup loves to learn and show off his existing skills like sit, down, and give paw. He is a delightful houseguest: potty trained, a great couch warmer, and happy to relax in his crate when needed.Ketchup has also done well with dogs and wouldn't mind a doggy buddy in his next home. He'd prefer a home without cats.If you're looking for a fun, loving companion who brings a bit of silliness and a lot of heart, Ketchup might just be your perfect sauce. Call our adoptions team at 707-542-0882 to learn more about him. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 32.6 Age: 8yrs 10mths 3wks

Goldie came to us as an owner surrender after living with her human her whole life. This senior has a heart of gold - pun intended! True to her breed, Goldie is a sweet girl who loves affection and likes to be with her people as much as possible. She enjoys taking long naps, eating snacks and going on her daily sniffaris. She knows several commands, including “heel” and the game “find it.” Goldie is a gentle girl looking for a soft and loving place to land in her golden years.
