Are you looking for a fun dog to explore the Bay Area with? Then Moose is your guy! This gorgeous chocolate lab mix has been waiting far too long long for his forever family. But he still has the biggest smile and is ready to run, fetch and play. Moose is a champion fetcher and like all labs, also likes the water (though he's not too sure about the swimming part.) He's good in the car and wriggles with excitement when he knows he's going somewhere for a new adventure. He's even down for a bath afterwards! Moose is super sweet but can be a little reserved at first. He is GREAT on a leash, very attentive, checking in with you during the walk or run to make sure he's on the right path. He's also very food-motivated, which makes him even more attentive and easy to train. Moose is not a first time adopter dog. He has some anxiety and is much happier when he is with you than when alone. He requires an experienced adopter with alot of patience who can help Moose feel secure and loved. The ideal home for Moose is with an an active, all adult family with a yard. Raimi is a young, beautiful, happy, smart. active black lab mix who was rescued from death row at the county shelter. Shortly after arriving at Jelly's, Raimi surprised us by giving birth to 3 puppies. Raimi was a wonderful and loving mom and never got impatient or grumpy with her baby. Raimi LOVES other dogs and is a wonderful mentor to younger dogs. She enjoys participating in our informal agility course, especially when treats are involved. She knows the sit and down commands and is currently working on stay. Raimi likes soft, pushy toys and running around patrolling her queendom. Raimi is NOT a first time adopter dog. She is initially very shy and nervous when meeting new people, particularly men. She needs an experienced and patient adopter who will go slowly with her and earn her trust. Once she knows she is safe and loved, she will return that love unconditionally. The ideal home for Raimi would be an active adult family, with a big yard and another dog. Another dog is a must. Sylvester is a wonderful, happy, affectionate black lab mix who is the perfect family dog. He was found in Stockton with a broken jaw, which has healed very well on its own. His Vet does not recommend rebreaking it because it will weaken his jaw. Sylvester walks great on a leash, rides well in a car and loves hanging out on the couch with his favorite people. Sylvester loves anything that squeaks and is excited to go through our informal agility course. He knows sit and doen and is working on stay. He is a sweet boy who would do well with an active family with kids who like to go on adventures, take long walks or jog around the neighborhood and chill on the couch. This sweet boy was left behind and abandoned in one of my tenant’s units. When I found him, I could not imagine walking away. He is a male, large mixed breed, and appears to be under one year old. He is still very young and has a gentle, trusting nature despite what he has been through. I have been caring for him temporarily, but I am unable to provide the long-term home and stability he deserves. I have been tirelessly trying to find him a loving home, and time is becoming critical. My hope is to find someone who will love him, protect him, and never leave him behind again. I am asking for a small rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a safe and serious home. I am hoping to place him as soon as possible with someone who is ready to give him the care, patience, and love he needs.
