Story
Jaxs is a very energetic, playful, and sweet 1 year old (birthday is in November) Lab Mix that was originally adopted from a kill shelter in Northern California. He does well with kids (I have four) and has never been aggressive. As mentioned above, he is very energetic though and definitely needs a new owner that knows how to handle a larger dog that needs a lot of time, attention, love, and training to have Jaxs become the best version of himself. He loves to play, loves being outdoors in the grass, loves being inside, loves his weekly bone, and loves being pet/loved on. I do not believe Jaxs would be best with another dog or animal at this time. I do believe he needs a lot more training and time before it would be known if he could behave well around other animals. A new home would need to be able to provide the time, attention, and love, along with really good training/trainer for Jaxs. I would prefer for a new home to have a backyard, but is not an absolute must.

Meet Lilac, our stunning Lab/Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart as beautiful as her name. Lilacs story began in a high-kill shelter in Bakersfield, where she was abandoned and left to an uncertain fate. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan rescued her, and when others couldnt help them, we stepped in to make sure this special girl gets the future she deserves. Now fully vetted, Lilac is ready to find a forever home she can truly count on. She can be shy at first but when she warms up she is affectionate, and gets along well with other dogs. After being let down by people in the past, shes looking for a family who will offer her the love and stability shes always deserved. If youre searching for a loyal companion with soulful eyes and a heart full of hope, Lilac is waiting for you. Cowboy is a stunningly gorgeous 7-month-old male Lab-Terrier mix cutie pie that weighs approximately 33 pounds of love & sweetness.  Cowboy would be great with an active family that would take him on plenty of walks and play fetch with him in the yard. He’s incredibly affectionate and wants nothing more than to be with his loved ones.  He is dog-friendly with other friendly dogs, and he’s walking great on a leash and has just went on his first hikes. Cowboy loves children, and he’s well-behaved in the home. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and would love to have a yard so he can run and play his little heart out. Cowboy loves chewing on his Nylabones and loves cuddling on the couch with his loved ones.  Cowboy is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, received his comprehensive fecal test and wellness exam.  He’s packed and he’s ready for fun adventures with his loving forever family!! When his family left him behind, a kind temporary foster stepped in to keep him safe. But due to a sudden family emergency, Chance is now in boarding in Norco, CA — safe, but confused, and wondering where his people are.Chance is the perfect mix of mellow and fun — your go-to for couch snuggles or a walk around the block. He’s calm, gentle, and eager to be part of your day. He’s up to date on shots, neutered, great with dogs, good with cats, and wonderful with kids. He’s a true “on/off” dog who will happily match your energy, whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure. He is a lab mix, about 4 years old, 54 pounds. His only quirk? He prefers not to be startled while sleeping (and honestly… who doesn’t?). All he needs is a family who will never give up on him.November 16, 2025, 4:34 pm
